I had to take down 6 trees and had talked to serval Tree removable companies but was impressed with Sam and his dad, Sam Sr. Sam followed through with everything he said he would do and in fact went above and beyond. He communicate with me on each step of the process. We are in a 'scenic area' of Santa Rosa and require a permit. He worked with the City to get the permit. He also works with a very knowledgeable Arborist and made the whole process of taking down our 6 trees easy and worry free. I was impressed on how safety was a major concern with Sam, he stopped work one day because the winds were starting to blow too hard to keep his crew safe. They came with trucks and equipment to take the trees down. They chipped, ground out the stumps and took away the downed logs. And they cleaned up. The Sam's team took down a 75' redwood right next to my mother's house. It was so big it had become a hazard to several houses in the neighborhood. Definitely a challenging job only for the most competent professionals. Sam's team is very well equipped, highly experienced, careful and efficient. The result was that there was no damage to any people or property, no drama, no surprises. They are fun to watch, though! Highly recommend SAM'S TREE SERVICE. He came out right away and listened to all our concerns and needs, and gave me a quote on the spot. The work was done today - I thought it would take all day, but they were done in 2 1/2 hours with four guys working, and they had a big truck with a crane and a bucket to work out of. They removed one tree, trimmed another, ground 2 stumps, and trimmed two smaller trees, hauled away all the shrubbery and cleaned everything up. They did a total of 7 trees for me. They reduced the weight of all of them so they would survive and made sure to trim them back away from power lines by my house. They worked extremely hard and made sure I was happy with how much they took off as well as keeping in mind the health of the trees. I will certainly hire them again! Could not be happier! read more
