His staff lied about the quote, lied about calling me, and lied about when the ring would be ready…read more When I thought they were calling to say the ring would be ready, they were calling to say that it would cost $1K+ when I was quoted just over $500 for the sizing/soldering plus $50-$100 for the head. If his staff had been honest about the quote to begin with, it would have been different. But everything was last minute and when we would call, it was a different story with Nicole, who acts like every single day is her very first day to work any job ever. When I said I hadn't received a call, another girl called me to say Nicole wrote down a note that she had called me. Okay - then where was my missed call? Where was my voicemail? They had my husband's number too. There was also no other reason for her to call me other than to dispute me saying I didn't get a call and she kept arguing round and round about it. I finally asked her straight up if the point of her call was the call me a liar. She said that she was just calling to say that Isy would call me later, which is what she had just heard the other girl tell me not 10 minutes earlier. Isy then called me and was talking in circles too about how they never order expensive pieces like the magical new $600 part where I was verbally quoted $50-$100 without calling the customer first. But then he would say stuff like of course the part was this expensive and we should have just known? We aren't in the jewelry business which is why we were trusting him and the quote given by his staff. Then he told me that he decided to go ahead and just order the expensive piece without our approval despite his own policy of needing approval first when he had both my number and my husband's. At this point, I was just disgusted and said to stop everything and we would just pick up the ring and have all the work done elsewhere because I didn't trust Isy to stand by the new last minute quote. I spoke to my husband immediately and he called Isy within 15 minutes and said that he would pay the exorbitant new quote because he was sick of the rings not being done if Isy would just get them done and not bother me but deal with him after how I was treated. Nope - Isy claimed that the rings had magically been "undone" and could no longer be completed. By the way, this was all for sizing up a solitaire platinum ring (4 to 5.25) and setting a diamond in it, sizing slightly down a platinum ring (6 to 5.25) and soldering them together. This was not a giant job. All we asked for was an accurate quote and honest customer service.

Regulation Z, the Truth in Lending Act, requires clear disclosure of APR, fees, and terms to be provided before a credit card application is submitted. None were given to me, and they couldn't produce any documentation afterward. Very disappointing and not the level of transparency customers deserve. They also qouted me $2,000 above the price of the same ring another local jewler was able to custom make for me.

I went into the store since they are an authorized dealer, this was my biggest mistake. The woman whose name I don't remember because of her lack of knowledge was beyond useless after she stated she has many years in the industry. She said that Tag usually only has 3-6 months warranty for their digital watches and that I would have to pay for the repair. She also said that it would take 12-14 weeks for a turnaround if they sent it off. She directed me to take the watch to a IPhone repair place of all places. I called Tag and they said my watch had 2 year warranty and to send it to them for a 2 week turnaround. The Jared salesman also stated that my watch should never be put under water even though it is a dive watch.‍ I told Tag to pull their dealer recognition from them for their total lack of knowledge and piss poor customer service skills.
