Just wow!!! We had a big group and they were able to cater all of us!! The waiter was so funny and nice! We had so many random things that we need and he was able to get us everything! I ate here once before but I didn't leave a review since I just had a colonoscopy and was coming off anaesthesia. But I did really like the food the first time. Tonight we had the rainbow, fancy salmon and kamikazi rolls. The rolls came in a boat with the fog effect of dry ice. The rolls were delicious and fresh. The tempura in both the salmon and kamikazi were very good. The fish was fresh and the sauces were also a good complement to the rolls. The rainbow roll was very good too. The rolls were very generous in it's portion size. The pricing is terrific. Service was friendly and prompt. The place has a chic vibe and was comfortable. We will be back soon. read more

Had a great warm house sake and edamame to start-great. Then ordered a couple veggie rolls a soft shell crab roll excellent a two piece eel roll and bento style hibachi meal. Everything was great the budha roll was very good veggied out purple rice but could have used some spice but if youre looking for a plain veggie roll this is it. The menu is extensive with so many sushi choices along with other tempura, teriyaki, and even hibachi dishes. My wife got and liked her Bento Box. I decided on their Steak Hibachi after seeing another diner's photo. I knew there would be no show, we were at a regular table, but there would be a big plate of food coming. Our meal started with complimentary Krab that was really tasty. It was sweet and a little crunchy, eaten like sushi pieces. I don't know if it's the same as Happy Krab listed on the menu. I do know it was a great start. Following that, we both got a clear soup and me a ginger salad, good standard fare with plenty of dressing on the salad. Not long after the salad my plate of Hibachi Steak arrived, a glistering accumulation of steak pieces, veggies, and noodles with a side bowl of fried rice. I ate my fill and didn't even touch the rice, instead bringing what was left back home for later enjoyment. My steak was cooked a bit more than I expected for medium rare but still fine. Something I hadn't thought about is you get all the food at once, unlike tableside hibachi where you start eating while more food is cooked. While this allows food to cool down more, it also lets you eat in whatever sequence you want. We liked the restaurant. We sat in the rear dining room which had less of the dark modern look of the other rooms and more light and warmth, with a ceiling of paper cherry blossoms. When it got busy the room was loud. Surprisingly, we were not very needy and managed to order without too much help, although help was available from our friendly server. read more

We come here about once a month and I'm finally getting around to writing a review. First of all, I've never had any problem finding parking right outside their door, which is a big win in this area. The service is very consistently good which is appreciated. And the sushi is plated very beautifully, which is a bonus. The lighting, music, and decor are all very soothing and conducive to conversation and a relaxing dining experience. So all in all, five stars with no complaints. While on vacation in Sarasota, I've been craving sushi non-stop. It must be the tropical weather, beautiful beaches and relaxing atmosphere of this stunning place. This sushi restaurant was dreamy inside. Located on a cute little street with other boutique looking restaurant, we quickly found a parking spot. As soon as we arrived, we came late the staff took us in with a smile and escorted us to a very cute booth. I was in awe of the Japanese decor. Our server was kind and on top of things, he gave us a menu and gave us water. As we gazed at the menu, I wanted to order everything! Our server returned with a complimentary appetizer and it was tasty. I don't remember what it was- I do remember I felt cared. I ordered several sushi specialities and my boyfriend ordered his standard teriyaki chicken. The waist wasn't too long and our dishes were played on beautiful handcrafted ceramic. The food was fresh, flavorful and beautiful. Prior to the dishes arriving, we also started with miso soup. Everything was beyond what I wanted. The sushi masters crafted delicate fish and served it as art. The atmosphere stunning with a peaceful ambiance. The music for the mood. Place is clean, professional and friendly staff. As we were leaving my eye caught small Japanese sake vases. I ended buying three for myself and a present for my sister as a souvenir. We tried this place out yesterday and were very happy with the quality of the sushi. The rolls were excellent and the pieces super fresh. They went out of their way to make each item look special as well. Service was good and server was very nice as well. It is a larger location but they have set up areas to give it that cozy feel. I've been 5 or 6 times to this location and only twice have I gotten my rolls the same style and it's always something cool wether it's there boat, temples, or however they choose to present your rolls! I don't know where to begin, everything is that amazing! You don't need reservations however with a large party I would recommend making one. You can sit at the bar, a booth or table. The lighting was too dark though making it difficult to read the menu, you can kind of tell in the picture. The food was ok. Some items were better than others. The highlight of the dinner was the in house wasabi. The best part of the boat was the sashimi nigiri. All of the rolls are mediocre. Street corn is very heavy on the mayo but it was good. The complimentary fired crab was soggy and seems like it was sitting there for a min. The house salad was lacking dressing. Miso soup tasted like the sea. Takoyaki was good. My husband and I decided to pay a visit as I work nearby and knew they had just opened. They did not disappoint. It's so esthetically pleasant, open and spacious. The full bar has a huge tv yet maintains an elegant feel to it. Plenty of areas to sit; a cute secluded area that caters to somewhat private groups, as you walk towards the sushi bar there's cute booths that fits up to 4 people. The Food :) plenty of options to choose from. Just so fresh and delicious. My husband had Chicken and Shrimp Hibachi and I had the "Amazing Roll". The Ginger Salad & Duck Bao were out of world.
