Dr. Soeung was immediately judgmental about the medications I was taking, didn't ask how they effected me or made me feel and immediately disregarded this treatment plan for his own. I would have taken his recommendations to heart if he were attentive and compassionate, but he forgot my name multiple times and had to check his computer to remember and asked me to repeat myself multiple times after answering the same questions. This included wanting to treat me for something I repeatedly told him was a nonissue. He wanted to change my treatment plan weeks before I have to leave the country for work for a month. Experimenting at this time is highly reactive and could be potentially dangerous, while putting my career in jeopardy. He obviously has personal biases and brings those to work and to his patients. The pain was not from a recent hip surgery, and my issues were out of my hip orthopedic surgeon's area . I noticed most people go to him for migraine and extreme headache issues. I was able to tell him what I feel triggers things, how its progressed to be more occasional and sensitive, past years of accidents that could have affected it. I let her know I was never told that this was going to be happening or that I was going to be billed for this. She let me know that "the results just don't magically arrive". I asked about email... I would also call from time to time to ask a question and it seemed impossible to reach anyone in the office. They are only open a couple days per week. I would constantly get the answering service and leave a message with them but I would never receive a call back. If I did get ahold of the office it was never a pleasant conversation and always left me frustrated. Dr had me on a medication to which I had an allergic reaction to and was told if I had one to stop immediately and he would prescribe something else. When I called to tell them about the reaction I was asked what is the medication he has you on? I didn't know the answer off the top of my head and asked if she could just check the medical file on her desk... It was never easy working with them and always frustrating. Dr. Lin is a competent doctor, but his entire office appears completely unorganized. We've got files on top of files, papers everywhere, and staff looking stuff up on Google. Has anything changed within the past 30 years since then? The office aesthetic is Asian immigrant parent clutter. My pcp authorized a visit to a neuro due to my battle with my sinus migraines. A ENT doctor recommended for me to see a neuro since the Imitrex he rx me was better suited to treat my symptoms. I already have my CT results read to me by the ENT and brought it with me to my visit at the neuro. The wait in the office was long. The assessment from Dr. Lin was typical of a neurologist. I told him my symptoms and gave him my CT results where he's like "yeah your ENT kinda sucked, I'll authorize you an MRI." 2 weeks passed and I get no word from my insurance. Turns out they never authorized it when I called back to follow up. I did my MRI sometime in March and was expected to hear back from Dr. Lin to go over my results.
