Doctor Dhia Al-Wardi is the kindest, most thorough doc I've seen! He really takes the time to hear…read moreyou out, listen to your concerns, your story and ask questions to investigate further. He's soft spoken, compassionate, active doctor. Office is difficult to find. Between the diner and a huge new vacant complex. I came for possible nerve issues which paralyzes me at times via my leg with crazy extreme zero straight to 10 pain level, stabbing pain which has spread to both legs feeling numbing/tingling and rubber band snapping pain. The pain was not from a recent hip surgery, and my issues were out of my hip orthopedic surgeon's area . I noticed most people go to him for migraine and extreme headache issues. Doc AL-Wardi is on the older but his age doesn't bother me like other doctors. He seems very knowledgeable, coherent, active, and funny. He tested my reflexes, my walk. I was able to tell him what I feel triggers things, how its progressed to be more occasional and sensitive, past years of accidents that could have affected it. He listed to over 2 years of complications of accidents, medical advice, experiences and pain to investigate if and if so, what body area is need for MRI.....definitely a lower back one as suspected. Reception: I did not have a bad experience. She just had me fill out the forms, asked for authorization paper, ID card and Health Card. When done with my check-up, she was nice enough to answer questions I had like if I should call her or wait for a call regarding my MRI....which she said to wait for it. I got a call today, 4 days later and am able to schedule my MRI appointment. Calling In? So far, I've called the office several times and got to someone after my 4th call or 2nd day calling? I would recommend persistence. M, W, R Open 11am-5pm (closed lunch 12pm-2pm). Tues & Fri Closed. Parking: Street parking? My appointment was at 2pm, and the doors opening at 2pm. I waited at the door at 1:45pm with 2nd patient coming at 1:55pm. I believe the 2nd patient probably had to wait almost 45minute for my first time thorough appointment. I assume people should prepare to wait if come after 11am.

He is on the older side and…read moreis pretty old school but that doesn't really matter as long as he knows what he is talking about. The 2 stars comes from his front office staff, the lack of office hours, and the mystery billings. I was sent for an MRI and paid the co-pay at the hospital but a bill show up from Dr. Al-Wardi's office and I was rudely told by the front office lady that he had to go to the hospital to pick it up so I was charged a visit for that. I let her know I was never told that this was going to be happening or that I was going to be billed for this. She let me know that "the results just don't magically arrive". I asked about email... I would also call from time to time to ask a question and it seemed impossible to reach anyone in the office. They are only open a couple days per week. I would constantly get the answering service and leave a message with them but I would never receive a call back. If I did get ahold of the office it was never a pleasant conversation and always left me frustrated. Dr had me on a medication to which I had an allergic reaction to and was told if I had one to stop immediately and he would prescribe something else. When I called to tell them about the reaction I was asked what is the medication he has you on? I didn't know the answer off the top of my head and asked if she could just check the medical file on her desk... It was never easy working with them and always frustrating. If it was only Dr. Al-Wardi the review would be much more pleasant but his staff is really pulling him down. On to the next neurologist...

Dr. Lin is a competent doctor, but his entire office appears completely unorganized. We've got files on top of files, papers everywhere, and staff looking stuff up on Google. Has anything changed within the past 30 years since then? The office aesthetic is Asian immigrant parent clutter. My pcp authorized a visit to a neuro due to my battle with my sinus migraines. A ENT doctor recommended for me to see a neuro since the Imitrex he rx me was better suited to treat my symptoms. I already have my CT results read to me by the ENT and brought it with me to my visit at the neuro. The wait in the office was long. The assessment from Dr. Lin was typical of a neurologist. I told him my symptoms and gave him my CT results where he's like "yeah your ENT kinda sucked, I'll authorize you an MRI." 2 weeks passed and I get no word from my insurance. Turns out they never authorized it when I called back to follow up. I did my MRI sometime in March and was expected to hear back from Dr. Lin to go over my results. We're in September, and nary a word was said. Please retire man. Enjoy life and go travel.

Then I'm sure we wouldn't be writing this review in the first place. Why would you say we've never visited your office, we had been seeing you for almost 2 years, and thought our family had some type of patient-doctor relationship with you. I'm not sure why you would ask for my husband to announce his name-----is that not a HIPAA violation? No other families leaving a review for you have listed their family member's name, it's a matter of privacy. We traveled from our home on the Westside to see you because of a referral from another neurologist. Just please do better at calling back families that have placed their trust in you. Especially when we leave a message that their loved one under your medical guidance has been hospitalized and we've left you multiple messages over the span of a couple weeks.

But every time I am in his office and tell him how I'm feeling better and slowly but surely returning to "normal" activities, I start crying when I feel the hope swell up within me to return to my life of health and fitness. (I was training for my first bikini competition prior to the car accident.) He is very kind, empathetic, and truly listens to your concerns and responds with kindness and care that improves your condition.
