These were also with the Casa Rosso wine and Birra Siciliana beer both blonde and red. All food was superb. The fried eggplant was flavorful and fresh, and the bread was crispy and savory. Fresh tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, crisp greens--every ingredient tasted like it had been picked that morning. It was outstanding. The pasta was very good, but today the salad was the undisputed champion of the meal. Of course, dining outside along Venice's busy walkways only adds to the experience. Watching people pass by while enjoying great food is one of those simple pleasures that makes Venice such a special place. Rossopomodoro delivered a fantastic meal and a great evening. Unfortunately our wait staff had major issues getting the orders through. In the end what we thought were small personal pizzas ended up being full size ones. Simply too much food for three people. The quality of the dish was questionable at best and gave each of us terrible upset stomachs for the rest of our day in Venice. Overall just an extremely disappointing experience.

I asked for a margarita pizza and the worker at the front gave me a cheese pizza. I clarified that I wanted a margarita with tomato, basil, and mozzeralla, and he said this is it. I would have pointed to the pizza if it was out there but it wasn't. Then right after I pay the margarita pizza comes out of the oven.
