This office is complete chaos. They are completely overbooked, taking on way too many animals. They rarely answer the phone, and never return calls. The waiting rooms are absolutely filthy. They are constantly going in and out of doors to the back and slamming them. just not a good experience. It used to be such a great place years ago. read more

I absolutely love this place! Their doctors are top notch and their staff is amazing! I highly recommend this veterinary center for all of your beloved furbabies. I take all 4 of my golden retriever girls here and I have even had friends bring their dogs here for second opinions on issues. I trust them and their knowledge completely. They are quick to answer emails and text messages and I really appreciate their attentiveness to questions and concerns. The PetDesk app that they offer is super! I highly recommend getting this to stay on top of your pets needs. You can also schedule appointments through there! These vets care deeply about the animals that they treat and I have had first hand experience with their relationship with their animals. They treat them like family and that means the world to me! I wouldn't accept anything less. This office does so much work for our community and works tirelessly with rescue groups to save animals in need. I am in awe of how much they are willing to give to save just one little soul. We do have a limited number of vets in our town and this city is growing quite quickly so please be patient and treat them with kindness if it takes a little longer for your visits. After reading the reviews in here, I was very concerned that we wouldn't be able to get help for our little 10 pound Tibetan spaniel Sadie who tore her nail,last night-but I called in at eight in the morning just now and they said we could bring her in today so I'm just saying because a lot of people are talking about how they won't help you. Another point is we just moved into town and aren't even set up in their system with our 3 dogs yet. So just want to say a big thank you to Samantha, who goes by Sam for giving us such prompt attention and getting us an urgent care appointment for our little girl dog. We went on a short vacation and left our dogs with family. They sent us an update, indicating that one them may have an infection in their eye. Upon first glance, I can tell that it was likely a foxtail stuck inside. We were told it was swollen for about a day, therefore it was inherent that she was seen right away. I told my mom to take her to the nearest vet, as we were well aware of the likelihood that she could lose her eye. The vet took her in right away and made sure to keep us apprised of the outcome. They assured me that she was in great hands and I felt comfortable knowing that they understood the severity. Within a couple hours the foxtail was out and her eye was looking so much better. We owe a great deal of gratitude to the San Benito Veterinary Center. We know where we'll be taking our dogs from now on! read more

This place seemed promising , the staff can be friendly at times and other times not so much. It's busy I get it. They must see allot of pets, especially since family pet care closed . When I went in for my pets appointment they informed me after waiting for 25 minutes that they didn't have enough rooms available for my dog to be seen .. two people checked in after me and they were able to see them in a closed room with no problem. I assumed they scheduled accordingly apparently not because even with having appointment that clearly makes no difference They were nice enough to offer to give him his vaccine in the lobby with myself holding him or without. So thanks they did approach him and unfortunately my dog was already anxious at this point .. In the end they had to take him to the back somewhere .. he got his vaccine and is in pain squealing to the touch and refuses to walk without squealing . This was an emergency situation and not my usual veterinarian. I called mid-day during their lunch & surgery hours. They were closed but we're about to open within the 1/2 hr. They asked if could bring my dog in right away. The Vet tech saw my little guy and then soon after the vet came in for a thorough exam. She was very young and to be honest I was taken aback at just how young she looked! . Since they had no MRI they called local veterinarians to see if I could be penciled in. They spent a solid hour or more searching for a reputable place to take my dog! Meanwhile their waiting room had filled with standing appointments. I was so very grateful for them that day. Vet was excellent and vet tech was also excellent. You get the sense right away that they both care deeply about your pet. I will be bringing all my pets to this location. read more

They put our cat on a prescription diet & have made it ridiculously complicated and wholly INCONVENIENT for me to purchase said food. They care more about making money off the food than they care about the well being of our animals. They should not care WHO I buy the food from. Isn't the important part that my cat actually eats it?? Their website says they are open until 6, yet they were already closed when my husband arrived well before 6. They would not approve an order from Chewy. They gave me some other website, which I'm sure they get kick backs from. I placed an order on that website 4 days ago and have only received a confirmation. It has not shipped or even been approved at this writing.This Vet is literally holding my cat's food prescription hostage. I am extremely disappointed as I actually really liked Dr Sanders and the care he provided. I do not have the patience or time for the other games going on here. What a shame. I will be taking my cat elsewhere since they only seem interested in making money off me for food my cat needs to be healthy. Disgraceful. I want to add that they do not even have the dry food in stock that we need. Their website has yet to ship it, so they have basically refused to let us get our cat the food he needs. I have had multiple poor interactions with this vet clinic. I inherited a cat when a family friend passed away who was on prescription food. I called the vet to see if I could find out why the cat was on this prescription food and get a prescription to order it in a larger bag than they sell in the store. They were going to charge me a fee for the prescription and said I needed to schedule an appointment to find out any information about the cat. I had the son of the family friend who passed away fax them a death certificate and he provided written acknowledgment that the cat was left to me and they still would not provide me a prescription or any information and said the son had not called. The son sent us proof of his conversation and mailing of the death certificate. I scheduled an appointment to euthanize my elderly dog who had been suffering from severe skin issues(rotting flesh), food allergies, vitamin deficiencies, was refusing medications, had a loss of appetite, and would not play frisbee, his favorite game. I arrived for my appointment and had to stand in a parking spot for 52 minutes before being seen by anyone while other people were seen to get prescriptions filled. After being seen by the veterinarian I was told I could not euthanize my dog until I trialed a 2-month course of an expensive medication. Knowing my dog would not take pills with other foods or treats and was not eating, I chose not to proceed with the medication. They told me I must surrender my dog or pay for the prescription because they would not euthanize him in his condition or allow me to take him home without the medication. read more

Wow..... It was going well with them for a while. In the past few days, it has been unsuccessful. I am thinking either they are short-staffed or overwhelmed with too many clients. Reason? When we called, it went to voice mail, and their answering machine was FULL. I tried texting, but they didn't get back to you right away. I'm trying really hard to give them the benefit of the doubt in this situation because I understand many pets out there need attention. They sent me home without explaining the blood work. The medication they gave me for my dog was full of hair and when I called to get it replaced (on the same day) I was told once it leaves the vet office they don't cover it. Our regular vet was closed but we needed help. I called another clinic and got an apt. but that was later cancelled due to vet being sick. San Benito Vet (Lindsey Sanders) had a late evening apt. we got there and The time was taken and info given. I so appreciate the appointment and finding out what was wrong with our girl Hope....stones again! We recently found a big bump on our fur babies behind so I took him to his vet in Watsonville, it was determined that it needed to be removed, as you can see I posted the estimate for the removal. Family pet vet closed down so they are now gonna be even more unavailable. But you would think that with taking in all these pets they would hire more help. My step mom took our kitten here because he was sick and they quoted her $5k to help him without any guarantee. When she said that she was going to explore other options Dr Sanders and his wife proceeded to call animal control and wouldn't release the kitten to us until after being interrogated by animal control. Just got home from bringing my Pit mix here for an ear infection. I had been having problems getting into our normal vet and had a neighbor Kristel suggest this place. I am 100% happy. They were able to get me in quickly. There was little to no wait to check in, everyone was very nice and I felt super comfortable with them taking Roxy. Dr. Lindsey Sanders was so sweet and did awesome at making Roxy feel comfortable. They were upfront about any test and the cost of them before doing them and i feel all was very reasonably priced. Can I give more than 5? We have a 14 year old Border Collie mix. Her vet of over a decade is now too busy to see her when something unexpected happens. The team at San Benito Veterinary Center have been life savers. Not only did they clear up a problem Callie's old vet couldn't, when she got very ill last week they managed to see her right away and put her on a path back to health. They treated her with care and compassion. We couldn't ask for better care. Even though the drive from Morgan Hill is not fun, it is worth it to know our girl will get great care. This Vet really bites! I just moved to the area, and on the flight and so on, my cat broke a nail. I call this Vets office and found out they don't answer their phone instead they text you immediately. I thought ok, I explained and asked when their next available appointment would be. They promptly offered me an appointment same day. Then they realize we weren't already clients. Then ask me ten questions about my cat, again I answered immediately, responding to every question. After 6 texts and making two phone calls, I arrived with my cat in her carrier. After sitting in the waiting room for 20 minute, I was told they couldn't clip her nail today, because she needed a check up before they would trim her nail. They had three women working the front desk.... But they sent a young teenager girl out with that message. Unreal! I asked why in the world before traumadizing my cat, didn't anyone just pick up the phone and call me? I asked her was the Dr aware of this? I told them I wouldn't be able to come back with her for two weeks. She said she would check with the office manager. They (the manager) send this girl back out to say well if she really in pain they could do it today for an extra $175 fee, and see her on an emergency basis. What emergency? She was there at her appointed time. At that I was floored, literally! At that con job, I left.... I will not return, I wouldn't let them trim her nail if they paid me $175. Beware! just don't go there. read more
