Three hours later we called again - the room was clean and ready. When we got to the room, there were parts of ceiling on the bathroom floor. We called the office. The maintenance guys came and said that they cleaned this apartment yesterday and everything was fine. Looks like the apartment was ready when we called for the first time, but people were just ignorant and careless. They didn't know anything about our request to stay in the building on the beach as well. Very disappointing Memorial Day weekend.The place is filth.

I and my grandson got cut pretty severely on the crap in the water. if you're going to have a rental you should ensure that the property (yes, including the water) has no hidden dangers! CLEAN IT UP! My nephew also had to get his FIL to bring a weed trimmer to clear the path to the beach.

After a few days my wife and I started not feeling well. As we started to look closer around the unit we noticed multiple locations of mold in the bathroom walls and living area ceiling. Rust in the dishwasher along with rotted/swelling cabinets and flooring not finished with gaps and cracks. Going into this units we understand imperfections and wear and tear. As far as mold and rust, totally unacceptable especially at the rates they charge for the facilities.

We were all excited because in the past all the condos have been awesome, but this one was a let down. We walked in with a few groceries, opened the fridge and we were about knocked down with the smell of spoiled seafood! I went down stairs to the check in counter to complain, and the fella was very helpful trying to get the issue fixed. He called the supervisor of the cleaning company and that man started hollering at him over the phone about what all I had complained about. The fella then gave me the phone to explain what wall I was saying, the cleaning supervisor then said that everything was inspected and it was fine. I told him to come and look and smell. He agreed in sending someone but nothing changed for the 5 night/6 days we were there. Phoenix Orange Beach #401, lacked in cleaning as well. The kitchen had nothing but small "glass" glasses to drink out of and with kids ages 3-16, 4 of them being 10 and under plastic glasses would have been much safer. The beds were comfortable, slept well but the rooms that had views to the outside only had sheer curtains and didn't block the early morning sun. The decor wasn't like the the other condos that we have stayed in in the past. The outdoor pool was extremely small to accommodate the guests. The laundry area about knocked me for a loop, you'll see in the pictures I post. The walk to the beach was just a little short jaunt which was great! That's probably the best thing about this property! Oh and the ice machine on this property is $5.00 a bag!

Tv in living room is SMALL and volume did not work. Walls are sticky! Pubes in the shower. Old cooking utensils. Honestly I can be a bit of a clean freak but Beds are not comfortable There were RATS outside of the condos. They slithered under the building. Wonder where they go during the colder months!!!!!! Drawers are dirty inside and sticky outside. There was a half wet rag left over the shower rod. There were 6 of us and we only had 8 towels. I was told in the email we would not be giving more during the stay. But 8 towels and rags? We are supposed to use the same rag and towel for the next 5 days? Gross! A plus I didn't see any hair in the bed I slept in. Refrigerator/ freezer seemed clean. Took half a day to freeze the ice cream though. Guess you get what you pay for. We stayed 5 nights at around $1350. Patio chairs are nasty and rusted. The trash can and lid were dirty. Sitting at the kitchen table you could see how nasty it is under the refrigerator and the baseboards. Absolutely would not recommend or stay here again. Ants. Dirty shower. Dirty rag in shower. Dirty shower curtain. Dirty curtains in bedroom and living room. Bedroom smelled like pee. Hair in shower possibly pube hair. 2 toilet paper rolls for five days for 6 people. Where the shower sealed looks like its molding.

Hard to ask for a better view from the extra large balcony, which was perfect for enjoying the beach on rainy or lazy days. Views could also be enjoyed from almost every space inside as well including the kitchen and master bedroom, which had its own balcony access. Condo amenities were also on point. Kitchen is well-stocked with all necessary cooking utensils. Bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean. The facility's amenities were also above average with over 4 outdoor pools and an indoor pool, so it was never crowded. There are an adequate number of outdoor grills and tennis courts to enjoy as well. The walk to the beach is quick and easy using the boardwalk. Takes around 4-5 minutes from door to beach. The on-site restaurant is also quite good and there are several other good options nearby as well. Would certainly stay again!
