The opportunity to try it, supportive coaching and patient staff to help us navigate our questions helped our daughter discern that she loved it and wanted to be on a competitive. Her first year, she was on a Level 2 prep team that was a great introduction to club cheer: she loved her coaches and grew a TON! Her second year she made the level 3 senior team, and again, great coaching and hard work paid off with an incredible season and her making a very rigorous and selective high school team. We are incredibly thankful to the coast coaches and staff that have made the last 2 years exceptional and laid the groundwork for our daughter to excel and have the opportunity to cheer in high school after just 2 years of club. The gym is organized, helpful, and we greatly the flexibility of scheduling tumbling classes. We highly recommend Coast Spirit!

The manager--who is 27 came across as extremely unprepared and unprofessional the entire time. The interview had no structure, included awkward comments, and halfway through I was genuinely thinking, "Where did I end up?" It almost felt like a joke. To be clear, I'm not bitter about not getting the job; I actually called afterward to withdraw my candidacy myself, trying to be professional. I was told they'd call me back, but instead they said they were "in a meeting" and never followed up, which says a lot. Walking around the facility didn't help either. The restrooms were pretty disgusting. The floor a mess. After reading other reviews, I'm not surprised they're so negative. From my experience, this place seems very poorly managed, especially with someone so inexperienced in charge. Definitely not somewhere I'd want to be associated with.

My husband and I participate in tennis clinics 3x a week in the evenings (6:30-8:00) with a group of about 10-12. The social aspect at the bar after was a highlight. The club recently sent out an email that the bar and cafe now close at 7pm. Kinda silly. So many people would go to the bar (not so much the cafe) in the evenings. This is the way to keep members - offer the social and the fitness. They instead added a number of items to the cafe menu and close early. If staff costs are the issue why not look to your gym in NYC. Self serve. You scan your card and it self pours wine or beer. Very sad to see the place go downhill. You can see staff morale is being impacted. Great facilities- poorly managed.

Kumu Liane is so patient and encouraging with kids. She teaches them different languages and about the culture as they learn basics in Hawaiian, Moari and Tahitian dance. The kids are captivated and always come home happy and singing. My 5 year old wants to go to hula every day. Kids have an opportunity to perform in local shows which is great experience and a chance to show what they have been learning. There are classes for all ages and levels. I tried a DVD course previously but I felt like it was too hard and and I wasn't able to do it correctly due to a couple physical limitations, so thankfully today I attended the donation class Tabay instructs on Saturday mornings for adults and had a wonderful learning experience. Thank you so much, I would recommend this class.
