I did some searching and, after visiting this location, I was not let down. This recycling business is located in the heart of the industrial area of Chula Vista on Main Street. The location is simple to get to and the entrance is not complicated. The owners definitely run a tight ship operation and work so efficiently. I have yet to encounter a long wait time either since I have started to visit. The business pays out very friendly returns for glass, plastic and aluminum items. The customer service is impeccable and welcoming. Also, the set up in the parking lot is very organized. The area where the customers obtain the baskets and trash cans to start filling up their recyclables has an easy access, and there are plenty of barrels to go around. The parking lot is shared with other businesses in the vicinity, however, I guarantee that you will not be parking far away or complaining about the lot being crowded. Furthermore, if you receive the Clipp coupon booklet, look inside for their totally wicked offers! I always clip it and hand it to the employee, physically (I believe that may be the only method.) Lastly, I did see a Yelp! badge located at their front window cashier area that indicated they were the best reviewed Recycling Center too!

They also have coupons where you can get a little more for your recyclables if you print it out and bring it with you. Go to the website. I do believe this is the most that I have gotten with the same amount of recyclables turned in to the one nearest my home. The value for what you turn in is definitely good and the service is good as well. I also felt valued as a customer as soon as I arrived. Just make sure you separate your cans, bottles and milk containers . It'll make the process go faster. The staff is very nice and will take out the packages from your car if you have a lot. If you have a lot of volume, I believe there's coupons that come in the mail to get more money for your recycles. The only thing I don't like is they always give 50 Cent pieces for change I like getting quarters.

A younger Guy came out to my car and helped me. 1 st (warning sign) no other Customers. He rushed up to the scale and another man hurried up and took the trash can away from me and put it on the scale. Next thing you know I look up at the current weight and it said ? 8.6. that is all I know. When the man rushed to give me my money, it was 55.5 in weight and $ 5.61 cents. The other person went in the back and i did not see him again. Nothing was said and the original person hoped back on his cell phone. I got in my car and said to myself "I think I was taken advantage of". I will never take my recyclables here again. I take responsibility I should have said Hold Up Here, and wait until I see this numbers. But, within a second my recyclables were dumped out of the trash cans and off the scale. I had no idea that this type of thing was A THING. Just make sure you watch your stuff.

If your TV is not working and not fit to be donated this is the place you could bring it. One can also sell your bottles of course along with other metallic items in your household. So after I disassembled the old grill and boxed it for easy transport in the bed of my Truck. I headed to the location. Now here's where the semi confusion happened. During this process I learned that Mike's has two locations, the one off of Main street is strictly for recycling plastic bottles and aluminum cans. The other location on Broadway is for scrap metal. It's a good size building and it looks very clean. When I pulled up there are white arrows that direct you where to go, basically you pull into the building they will show you where to park. After I pulled in and parked., got out of my truck they were already pulling up trash bids to put the grill parts in for me. All I did was lower my tail gate and positioned the parts and they did the rest. For me this was so convenient , simple and valuable because I didn't waste my time driving in circles looking for a place for disposal. I did double check the hours on their website on Saturdays and it's noted they close at 1:45 pm. Place was pretty easy to get to and the parking wasn't too bad. Once you turn into the parking lot, there is a sign telling where to park. When I was there, it was a bit busier, but these guys work very fast. I was able to go grab the sorting cans and gather my recycling. The staff there were very friendly and professional from the guys weighing your items to the cashier. I wasn't sure about certain items, but they explained how to sort certain ones and which ones can't be recycled. My trip there was the fastest for any recycling place I've ever been to.
