The work itself was also very good, clean and professional. I tinted all windows and sunroof. the nano ceramic film they use has very high clarity. I had ceramic tint from another shop on my previous car, that one has weird rainbow effects especially when wearing polarized glasses and seemed more difficult to see through (even at the same tint level). The nano film has none of those drawbacks. I'm not sure the exact brand from either shop, but I'm a huge fan of what El Cajon window tint uses. I'd highly recommend them, it was easy to make an appointment online or by phone. They're super helpful

When I told him I couldn't do it because it was too expensive, this was his reply: "When you can't find it cheap please don't reach out to use again we have waisted to much time for only a few bucks thanks Matt the owner of Mr wrap." I first met him at his apartment because he was "between shops" to look over colors. After setting everything up, he found a shop in San Marcos to work on my vehicle. Unfortunately, it was over an hour drive from where I lived and had no back up ride aside from an Uber/Lyft. I mentioned my concerns and he said I could drop my vehicle off at his apartment and he would take it up to the shop the next day. This is where I misunderstood apparently everything. He drove my brand new 2020 vehicle back and forth for 5 days from La Mesa to San Marcos, and put well over 200+ miles on it instead of leaving it at the shop. I honestly did not realize a clients car was going to be used as daily driver and figured he was going to find his own ride. With the new suv, I can track everywhere it goes and when it's driven. According to my app, he took it out multiple times at 11PM to do god knows what. I also have a dash cam set up in, looking through the footage, it has about 3 days missing and turned completely to the right instead of straight on. One video showed him on the highway with music blaring and windows down like he was just on a joy ride. Unprofessional. Next came my windshield trim pieces. Apparently he took them off to wrap my vehicle, forgot to put them on, and when he was on the highway, they flew off my car. Once I received my car, it had one beat up one, and one missing one, and he said he would order me new ones. Over a month went by from not hearing from him until I finally went and bought them myself. When I asked him if he ordered them he said "they are at the dealership, just haven't had the time to pick them up" I told him not to worry about it, I bought them, and he didn't say anything about it. $100 out of my pocket for something I didn't do. Unprofessional. Overall, the car looked great. I mentioned a few touch ups that needed to be done, a whole piece of my roof rail that wasn't wrapped, and lifting of my side mirror that he wrapped. He said he would get me in as soon as he could. He booked an appointment with me once or twice but wouldn't hear from him well after the appointment and said he was busy, and he needed to reschedule. Eventually I stopped hearing from him, and it's been nearly a year. I went ahead and had to have another shop do the touch ups and fix what he didn't. This is not my first shop that I've had shit luck with in SD, and he knew that, yet he was just as shit as the first shop ‍ only reason I give 2 stars, is because overall the wrap looks great. He just kind of fucked me over once I paid everything. I unfortunately no longer have any of the texts as I have since gotten a new phone.

They've handled front PPF, full vinyl wraps, ceramic coatings, and tint on multiple cars for me, always with outstanding attention to detail and very fair pricing for the quality of work delivered. I've gone elsewhere before and paid more, only to get inferior results. That's exactly why Monumental Workx has become my go-to. I recently purchased a 2026 Model Y Performance and initially planned for front-end PPF, a few high-impact areas, ceramic coating, and tint. I reached out to Theo through his website, did my usual due diligence with other shops, but already knew I'd likely end up back at Monumental Workx. They're not the cheapest--and they don't try to be. Quality isn't cheap, and if you want it done right, this is the place. I scheduled my appointment shortly after delivery, but ended up calling Theo the same day I took delivery to see if I could bring the car in immediately. He responded quickly and got me in right away. Once there, Arturo walked me through the options and made a great point: patchwork PPF wouldn't look as clean as a full-body PPF for only a bit more money. After thinking it over, I realized he was absolutely right--and I'm very glad I listened. Originally, I was going to go with gloss PPF, but overnight I changed my mind and decided (with my wife) to switch to stealth PPF. Thankfully, I caught them early enough, and they were super responsive in accommodating the change. I couldn't be happier with that decision--the car looks incredible, and it was worth every penny. One thing that really shows their level of care: during the PPF install, they discovered a hidden manufacturing defect in my spoiler. I would have never noticed it myself, and most shops probably wouldn't have said anything. But Arturo pointed it out immediately so I could get Tesla to replace it. Even better, once Tesla provided the replacement spoiler, Arturo personally installed it and made sure everything fit perfectly without compromising the PPF. Watching him work, it's clear he's extremely skilled and meticulous. Now everything is flawless. I could go on, but the photos don't even do the work justice. When I get my next vehicle, it's going straight to Theo and Arturo at Monumental Workx. Thanks again, guys!
