While I was at Leslie's Pool Supply to buy a new Power Pack for $449.99, an experienced pool guy, asked me about the fuse in the old power pack, I confessed I did not check it. When I returned home, I found that indeed the fuse had blown. I went online to Amazon and purchased 18 fuses for $6.99. That was my problem. So essentially, I bought a 40-cent part to fix the problem. I definitely would NOT recommend Distinguished Pools.

She repaired the bulk head leak, but the filter tank seal kept leaking despite multiple attempts to reseal it. My regular pool service guy also had problems sealing it in the past. Granted the filter tank is 15 years old. Stacey worked with our home warranty company and got us a brand new tank! Yahoo! Stacey order the same tank since the space where our tank sat was small. They did replace my pump, which was in rough shape and overdue, but only because it actually needed it and as the new home owner I just wanted to do it all right the first time. That kind of honesty is hard to find. Jake and Quentin handled the install and knocked the whole thing out in a single day. They got me set up on the app and walked me through all the equipment so I actually knew how to use it. While we were standing around testing everything at the end and just chatting, they both grabbed a net and brush and started cleaning my pool. Nobody asked them to. They just did it. I happened to call the day before July 4th weekend (or course!) when I realized my pool and spa heater would not turn on. Kevin, the owner, answered the phone himself (rare these days to have any live person answer the phone!) and told me he would have Lance, the equipment tech, get back to me. Despite it being probably THE busiest day of the year for these guys, Lance did indeed call me back within minutes. I let him know what model heater I had and exactly what the problem was, and Lance let me know he would have to order the part so he would not be able to fix the same day. I never in a million years expected it to be fixed that day anyway, and was completely stoked when he called me back a few days later to let me know he had the part and could swing by and install it. Lance is the consummate professional, it only took him about 10 minutes to get my heater back up and running again. I very much appreciate the immediate response time and professionalism exhibited by both Kevin and Lance, it is almost unheard of these days.
