Have had multiple rentals from Barefoot and rent for family when they visit. Never had a problem…read moreuntil this weekend. Cart was dropped off as usual. Everything looked great until the end of the first night when my son noticed the grounding pin had been broken off in the charging cable. The first and second night it charged fine. The morning of return pickup we noticed the unit had not totally charged. I made sure meet the rental staff when they picked it up to inform she. She frankly immediately copped an attitude and said she would charge us for the cord and also for not having the unit charged up on pickup. She indicated we should have called immediately when we noticed. Bottom line, I understand both sides, but we were honest and felt like we were accused of lying. I don't care about the extra charges if warranted, but we didn't damage the cord. They provide great carts. My suggestion? Double check everything and pester the crap out of them if anything is not working. They deserve 5 stars, but copped an attitude. We're not all stupid tourists....

Victoria and Angelo were absolutely extraordinary. They always came by to make sure we were relaxed and comfortable and adjusted our umbrellas to have shade without us even asking. They would come by and kick sand off our chairs and even fold towels when we were away. We had multiple conversations with both of them and we always ended up laughing and joking around. Prior to finding their business, we hadn't even dreamed of the possibility of getting her safely onto the beach, let alone her getting into the water. Not only was this the perfect option for her- Paul went above and beyond, stopping by the Airbnb property we rented to ensure that the chair we had reserved would work on the boardwalk from our rental. Thank goodness he did, because the motorized option would not have worked with the setup (which was slightly different than the google maps photos). Paul recommended a great pivot to a different chair in plenty of time for us to still reserve before the holiday weekend rush. Each chair had a drink holder and a cellphone holder along with a pouch. The lounge chairs have a hole for your face when you lie on your stomach. Each chair had a "pillow" when lying on your back.
