BBQ Sandwich
Katherine D.

We stayed just across from Scallop Cove while on vacation in Cape San Blas. They have all sorts of food and desserts (plus other staples you may need on vacation!). I ordered the bbq sandwich a few times during our stay and I loved it. They also serve Bluebell ice cream, including my favorite flavor buttered pecan The staff were always friendly, eager to chat and smile.

We had a wonderful time riding around the cape!

We decided to do a half day bike rental for $23 per person for one afternoon of our stay and we had such a ball! We biked 5 miles around the cape, and stopped to take pics all along the bike path. Totally a fabulous day, I we'll definitely do it again :D

We enjoyed this cute little stop. Prices are definitely high but I suppose that's expected on such a remote place!

Beer is ridiculously expensive. Stock up at Port St. Joe DG before coming out here!

We arrived in Cape San Blas for vacation and stopped here to get our fishing license to go scalloping.

Publix Super Market - Macaroni salad is a hit

If you want to see what grocery price gouging looks like in its natural habitat, go visit the…read morePublix Super Market at WaterColor Crossings that serves Seaside and Seagrove. Walking into that store feels less like grocery shopping and more like accidentally wandering into a tourist-trap convenience store wearing a Publix costume. Everything is pristine. Everything is organized. Everything is friendly. And everything costs an absolutely absurd amount of money. A quick trip for a few basics turns into a receipt that looks like you accidentally bought groceries for a small wedding. You grab a few staples such as milk, eggs, sandwich meat, maybe a jar of mayo and suddenly you're staring at a total that makes you wonder if the cashier slipped a Rolex and a beach condo deposit into your bag. And the worst part is that nothing about the experience justifies it. This isn't some boutique organic market. It's just a normal Publix that realized it sits between Seaside vacation rentals and Highway 30A tourists with sunburns and no other options. The pricing feels less like inflation and more like a calculated shakedown of anyone within five miles who needs groceries. And this isn't just imagination. Publix has been getting hammered by shoppers across Florida for prices that can run 30-50% higher than competitors on basic items. People are literally posting receipts online because they can't believe how much they paid for ordinary groceries. That's exactly how this store feels. You walk in thinking: "Publix -- where shopping is a pleasure." You walk out thinking: "Publix -- where shopping is a financial mugging with fluorescent lighting." Sure, the employees are nice. Sure, the floors are clean. But none of that makes it easier to swallow paying vacation-town ransom prices for groceries that cost dramatically less literally anywhere else. The Seagrove/Seaside Publix isn't a grocery store. It's a well-lit toll booth for people who ran out of food on 30A.

Had everything we were looking for. It has a great deli,…read moreproduce and meat department.

So, to say I went back again and waited for 3 hours when they messed up to begin with it should have been PRIORITY, they gave every excuse we do not touch tires with custom wheels etc. etc. Nothing shy of a nightmare and honestly, they can keep the money for whatever they need cause ill never be back. Time is money and I missed work so they can fix their incompetent fix. And future reference if you're going to take custom valve stem covers off make sure you replace them Walmart. I did get my money back for brand new tire cause warranty after a head-to-head match of arguing.
