Why, oh why did I not read the reviews on here before choosing to rely on this company of crooks? The website looked legit, so I booked and paid with them online and naively assumed that this meant they would actually show up at the designated time. When they were ten minutes late I started to get anxious, so I called up to see when they were going to arrive, only to be told that the driver "waited for me" and then left without me. I have no idea where he was waiting, but he never showed up at my address. I ended up having to get a taxi to the airport. Thankfully, I did not miss my flight. But I will never ever use these scammers again and I recommend you not either. As they have yet to refund my money weeks later and have stopped responding to me, I'm going to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I'm a cheapskate, plain and simple. BART wasn't running when I needed to leave and there was no way I was going to drop $40 on a cab. I found the best rated shuttle service on Yelp and booked it. Awesome. I booked my pickup online, which cost me $12 from my hotel to the airport. Within 20 minutes I had an e-mail confirmation of my reservation. The van arrived on time and the driver was polite and efficient. We picked up 2 other travelers and still got to the airport quickly. The only complaint was that the first row of the van had 3 seats across. It made it hard for our last pick up to make it into the back of the van, keep that in mind if you're not very bendy. TIP: If you book online, print your PayPal receipt to give to the driver. read more

The shuttle van was outside the hotel door waiting for us to take us to the airport at 5.00am! We were the first one to be picked up! The ban is as large as the super shuttle van with a few less gadgets at the drivers seat! Needless to say we got to the airport on time our flight was at 7.00am for a domestic flight. I was a bit skeptical with some of the bad reviews I read on yelp and was a bit concern that the ban would not pick us up on time. The Bart to the airport was on a thanksgiving holiday schedule, and the supper shuttle was book solid! This was a last choice and a good one! On the way to my very short vacation, American Airlines, of course, what did I expect, cancelled my flight from SFO to DFW. Well, good thing the AA representatives were eager to get rid of me at SFO, and booked me for the flight leaving from San Jose! in 90 minutes. Wow, they even gave me a free voucher for transportation to SJC on San Francisco City Shuttle. I admire the driver's resolve and coolness, who realized that there might be no way he could make it to SJC from SFO in 30 minutes during the morning rush hour. There were four of us, unfortunate suckers, on this shuttle. All the way to the airport, the driver was calming the most nervous of us down by saying we'd make it. And, surprise! we did. Kudos to San Francisco City Shuttle and their determined drivers! I salute you for helping me make it to the next cancelled flight on the way to my destination. read more

Full Experience: After 3 all day delays on what was supposed to be an 1 1/2 hour flight (compliments of Southwest Airlines) I arrived in San Francisco at 10 pm. Exhausted with only a tummy full of peanuts a crappy airport smoothie , I just wanted be home. I didn't want to walk through the parking lot maze leading to the Bart Train or catch a cab once I arrived at Civic Center. SF City Shuttle was a friggin' Godsend. I had the option to ride in a Super Shuttle with 10-12 other passengers as long as I filled out the required forms to essentially make a reservation . City Shuttle was like taking cab except without a meter. General Disclaimer: The driver certainly maneuvered the van like he was from San Francisco. Flat rate of $11/person (for hotel drop-off and pick-up only) Overall, it was a 2.5 Star experience but I rounded up to 3 Stars because I'm in a generous mood today. Use this company if you want to save money, need to get from point A to point B and don't need the small talk between you and the driver. I used them to go from SFO to SF City and vice versa and each time was a decent experience. Because the drivers I had were Chinese and English was their 2nd language, I didn't expect them to be social. I did notice that they were quite knowledgeable of the area so if there was traffic, a short cut or an uncommon destination to get to, they still knew where to go in an efficient manner. Also, I had to change my pick up time (from my hotel to SFO) and they were accommodating and showed up on time. Based on some reviews, I can't guarantee the same experience if you are doing a residential drop-off or pick-up (instead of a hotel). Overall, I would use them again in the future. (Tip: Do your research on their website when it comes to payment information. If you're planning to pay by credit card, you have to use Paypal and bring the printed receipt as your proof of payment. I've used SF City Shuttle twice now. I don't really recall anything of note the first time, which means that they must've been at least ok. And they're definitely cheap. That's why I'm giving them 2 stars, instead of just 1. This last time that I used them (and it will be the last time), I told them to pick me up at Le Meridian Hotel, located at Battery & Clay. They were 15 minutes late picking me up, and it was rush-hour traffic on a rainy Friday afternoon. Great. The guy on the radio wanted my driver to go from downtown out to 35th & Ortega to pick up a second passenger before taking me to the airport. Hell no. I told the driver that I would then be very late for my flight. Luckily, he told the dispatcher that he couldn't do it. But I'm now wondering why they don't have the pick-ups scheduled better. I mean, they're all reserved in advance, right? Anyway, as we hit the road and we're driving in the rain on the highway... THE DRIVER STARTS FALLING ASLEEP. Seriously. He's doing some weird shoulder jerking, and I can see in the rear view mirror that his eyes are closing. And his foot is coming off the gas pedal because we keep slowing down. I finally resorted to making inane small talk just so he wouldn't kill both of us. I'm not using them again. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I strongly advise against using this shuttle service. They are completely unprofessional and will have you waiting several mins to a hour for your shuttle to arrive. The driver of my van seem to be confused about which passengers he needed to pick up. He was also very unwilling to answer questions from the passengers in my van. Whether you are leaving SFO to San Francisco city or vice versa, the most affordable option is to take a door to door shuttle. That's per the advice of a SF police officer I spoke with. I found this service almost immediately after walking out of the terminal. If you don't mind that they make frequent stops, you can get to your destination for the price of $16 dollars. The travel is done in a conversion van, not the most comfortable, but standard. Shared couch seating. There may be a few other people in the van with you and the driver will take your luggage and stow it away. Once you are at your destination the driver will remove your luggage for you. Tips are not included in the price. On their website one can print out a coupon to get a discounted rate of $12 dollars, but for this rate they will shuttle you to or from a SF hotel. Another option would be to reserve a space on-line and for that also the flat rate of $12 dollars would apply. How much do SF residents tip their drivers typically? On a $16 fee I had a $20 and let him keep the change, he said "Wow". Did I give too much? Reading the review of Brian T, it seems the company may have updated the wording on their website since his review. I think I sat in the van approx fifteen to twenty minutes before departing. I don't trust this company. I booked with them online and then called to make sure it was in their system. I didn't book within the alloted time, so they couldn't give me a ride to the airport. That is understandable as it was my fault. I wanted a refund then since I paid through PayPal - they said they would do it. No refund. Later I called to say don't worry about the refund, I'll just take a ride back from the airport - they said okay, but then didn't have that I paid in the system. They don't communicate with one another. I booked it another time and it was fine. I then booked SF City Shuttle for six students at my school who had an early morning flight. Just used this company for shuttles from SFO to SF, then back again. I was totally impressed. Easy online reservations with an email confirmation. At the time I booked, if you prepaid through Paypal, the rate was only $11 each way, so that was by FAR the best price, even with a tip. (BART is now over 8 bucks from SFO to civic center). If you don't pre-pay, their rates are on par with all the other shuttles, maybe a little less. But the service was great. My flight into SFO was over three hours late so needless to say I missed the shuttle I was supposed to take (they had even called to say they were there waiting for me) but when I finally arrived at the shuttle pick-up, it wasn't more than 10 minutes until another van showed up. My pick up from the hotel back to SFO was exactly on time at 7:30 am. The vans weren't overpacked, nor did the drivers circle SFO endlessly trying to pick up more passengers like SuperShuttle does. A couple stops and we were on our way. The vans were clean and well maintained, and both drivers were pleasant and polite, a very nice change from the sour and surly 'tudes I've encountered from other shuttles. read more

Worst service ever. I called them two days ahead to schedule a pickup for 6:45am on 7/5/2013. I confirmed the date and time with the person on the phone and even emailed them to confirm it. First, their online registration form is broken. After filling it out 3 times I called. The guy who answered the phone refused to take my reservation. He insisted that I arrive 1 hour and 15 minutes early for my flight. This is crazy because I'm not checking bags and the flight leaves at 6am. I read and re-read all the reviews for all the shuttle companies before I picked San Francisco City Shuttle. The 7 reviews that were posted didn't seem to indicate that the place is run by a bunch of idiots. BUT, it is! A week before my trip, I went to their website and booked my roundtrip shuttle service on-line. If you prepay through Paypal they give you a discount, so I did. The on-line request was very basic, it asked your name, arrival time, etc. The payment options were also very basic - roundtrip or one way. I prepaid for roundtrip service, but in order to confirm that I was getting what I expected, I also sent them an email. In the email I asked them to confirm that I had paid for roundtrip shuttle service for 2 people. They sent the confirmation. Around 9AM of the morning I am traveling, I get a call from the shuttle company. Where was I, they asked? They were at the airport waiting for me at 6:15 this morning and I never showed. I tried to explain to the person I was talking to that the reservation was for 6:15 PM and that is what I had intended when I booked it on-line, but the person kept talking and arguing with me and wouldn't listen when I explained that if they were confused about AM or PM they should have called me a week ago, and it was their website that did not have all the necessary fields to obtain a complete reservation. I let the person rant, then asked if we would still be ok at 6:15 PM. They said yes and to call them when I arrived. So I arrive in SFO. I call the shuttle. They had a driver at the airport a minute ago, but he's left and another shuttle won't be coming for 20 minutes. Go wait at the designated spot. So we go, we wait, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, no 35 minutes before this driver comes. With 2 other fares in the van. Of course we were the last to be dropped off in the city. On the morning of my departure, several hours before I need to leave, I call the shuttle service and get the same person I had spoken with before. I explain that we need to get to the airport by 12:30. I am told that I should have called the day before. Why didn't I call the day before? You must always call the day before! I tried to explain, although I doubt she heard me, that their website where I booked it did not tell me this; the paperwork confirming the reservation did not tell me this; the man who dropped us off didn't tell me this. Can we still get a ride? Yes, but we will have to leave much earlier than we wanted to. Ok, I say, we'll be ready. Twenty minutes later I get a phone call from the same lady again. Oh, the fare that I paid on line was only for one person, not two - I owe them another roundtrip fare. I explained that I emailed them about this when I booked it. She acknowedged the email, but said we still owe them another fare. I said to her that the website does not allow you to book for more than one person at a time, but she didn't care. I said ok, I would pay the driver another fare when he came. They said they were coming early and told me to be ready to leave at 11:15. The driver came at 11:00. I had a 2PM flight. Why I needed to leave this early I don't know. My suspicion is that there are only 2 vans that go back and forth to the airport, and maybe only 1. What I do know is that their website is misleading and inaccurate, and their staff are borderline harrassing, difficult and have no customer service skills. read more

Don't use them!!!!!!! Pay the extra couple of bucks and go with someone better. Had a 5:45 shuttle and at 5:55 called to make sure they were on their way (their website says their times allow for a 10 minute margin of error) and they said they had no record of my reservation. When I told the guy that I got an email confirmation and on the email it says to call ONLY if you're going from SFO to the city once your plan arrives. But I was coming from the city and heading to SFO therefore, according to their directions I didn't need to call. He told me he could get a van at 630. When I told him I needed a van at 545 he said well you didn't call to confirm so it's not my fault. What? Then in your confirmation email you need to write "this isn't a real confirmation so please call to make one". When the shuttle finally arrived everything was fine, and once we got to SFO I was focused on getting in and through security because my flight was leaving in about 50 minutes at this point. When I didn't tip the guy (I know it wasn't the drivers fault, but I couldn't pay additional money for almost missing my flight) he looked at me and said "you better pay next time or you won't get a ride". Sorry sir, I did pay, I just am not going to tip you for driving me (I only had a backpack so he didn't even help with luggage). Terrible terrible experience. read more

When the shuttle no-showed, I gave them a call, which went as follows: Me: "I was supposed to get picked up 10 minutes ago, and haven't heard anything - what is the status?" SFCS: "Lady who do Internet booking go home at 7, what time you make reservation? We no have your pickup here." Me: "I made a reservation at 8pm last night, AND I received an email from a woman named Reinalda at 9:30pm confirming my pick-up." SFCS: "We don't have no record of you." (Note that at no point did she ask for my name, address or confirmation #.) Me: "In that case, I'd like a refund." SFCA: "Ok, we give you money back." Me: "Ok, don't you need my name and information to process the refund?" SFCA: "Ya ya, we give you money back." I gave up and took a cab. Good thing I'd factored in an extra 30 minutes for unexpected nonsense, but certainly did not have time to argue with this person. 3 days later, no refund was to be seen (shocker). I emailed the Reinalda lady, and received a full refund to my PayPal account about 12 hours later. An earlier review said that this company is run by idiots - wish I'd listened. My family and I made a reservation the day before our flight to SFO, knowing San Francisco city shuttle had the best rate at $11/person after doing our research. We prepaid and printed out the paypal receipt, having read the fine print. Once we landed we called the number provided to let them know we were at the airport. They said they would be there in 10-15 minutes, but after 20 minutes, I called again and we waited another 10. We gave the driver our paypal receipt (total $33 = 3x$11) and he said it was $17/person. After giving him a copy of our reservation too he seemed to accept it. There was a couple in the shuttle who got out before us and the driver charged them $17 each. I'm glad we paid beforehand. If you're not on a time crunch, can pre-pay to avoid confusion in pricing and looking to save money, I would recommend sfcs. However, the company could improve in timeliness and communication. read more

I paid the rate on the website for the three of us and added a note that we would have two large bags each. The ban had plenty of room for these bags but boy you should have heard the driver whine. He suggested that we should pay $65 for the luggage which I completely brushes off as I had prepaid for my ride. My experience is the reverse to the current majority where I received a call about a change in pickup time; they were arriving way earlier than I had booked. The driver went out of his way to find me at 5am one morning. I ended up with a private shuttle to the airport, just because no one else reserved. The one mistake was they gave the driver the wrong number for me, but he got it worked out and stayed in the area until he reached me. If he hadn't, I'd have been in trouble. I've used SF city shuttle a few times now, and they definitely work hard to serve you unlike many of the other shuttles I've taken. read more

I took San Francisco City Shuttle (SFCS) both from and to SFO recently and, overall, was pleased with my experience. I arrived at SFO and went out to the ground transport area. I had planned to take a shared ride van into the city, but did not have a reservation for any particular one. (I had done this before at SFO and it had always worked out just fine.) At the "shared ride van" bay, there was a lone van, belonging to SFCS. A man, who I assume works for the airport and helps connect passengers with ground transport, directed me on to this van. I asked the driver the cost. He told me $17, which I knew to be the same as what is charged by a certain much larger shared ride service. And, so I got on. And, then we were off. I was the only passenger on the van and we went straight from the airport to my hotel -- for what I'm guessing was well under half of what a cab would have cost. And, so, since my experience getting from the airport was so incredibly unhassled, when needing to arrange transport back to the airport, I tried SFCS again. On their web site I saw that, when paid in advance, the trip from downtown hotels to SFO is only $11! And, so, I made a reservation on-line. I have a (minor) complaint here: I got back an e-mail almost immediately saying "We have received your reservation," but it did not include the details of the reservation (i.e., the date and time of the pick-up). I e-mailed them back asking them to please confirm the details and their only reply was "Your reservation is below." SFCS folks: Travelers freak out about things like making sure they are going to get to the airport in time to catch their flight. So, confirming the actual details of the reservations, I am sure, would put a lot of minds to ease. Anyhow, the next day (the day I was flying), I decided I should have made the reservation for a bit earlier (my mistake). I called SFCS and asked if it would be possible to be picked up a half hour earlier. I was told the driver would be there a half hour to fifteen minutes before the time of my original reservation. But, this did not make it into their system. The driver actually arrived several minutes later than my original reservation time. (Yes, I was getting a bit nervous.) But...he called to let me know this, it was still within their "window," and, I was the last pick-up before heading to SFO and, knowing he had picked me up a bit late, he kicked butt (while still keeping to the speed limit and maintaining safe driving practices on a rainy afternoon) to get me, and my one fellow passenger, to the airport in time for our flights. I do recommend that SFCS kick their reservation notification system up a notch. But, overall, I was satisfied with the service I received from SFCS and the prices charged. When I rang she stated "oh he is 10 minutes from the airport now you will have to wait another hour." I said he just went past me here. Outright lies. It would have taken more than an hour for him to get back to Pick us up as our journey took almost an hour to get to the airport at 1pm. They have my number, yet no call. I was outside hotel waiting. Had to use taxi to get to SFO airport. Don't trust this company. As for refund. We will wait and see. I'm not too hopeful after their hotel pick up service. Don't use this company unless you want to just give them money, like I did. Make sure you have alternate arrangements ready if they don't come and pick you up. Not a reputable company in my view. I don't know why this service doesn't have higher rating. I was hesitant to book due do the reviews but super shuttle didn't have more space so I decided to give it a try and my experience was great. I called in the night before since it was passed the 8pm cutoff time for next day morning reservations and I was booked. They said they would be at my hotel door at 5am and even showed up 10 minutes earlier. As guaranteed in the website, they only do 3 stops. I was at the airport terminal exactly at the time I had asked them to drop me off. Price: note that they only charge $11 if you book online. If you book over the phone it's $17 and you have to pay cash at pick-up. The guy I spoke to on the phone told me to pay $25 for two after I told him that I was going to book online but realized it was only a few minutes after cutoff time. So you can try to get the price down I guess. Anyhow I have no complains and recommend it. Also, I like supporting small businesses as opposed to big franchises. read more

My sister, who was visiting from South Australia, ordered a shuttle from Sofitel redwood city to SFO via their website, and received a confirmation email and number. She called them a total of 4 times to confirm again that they could pick her up from her hotel and was repeatedly informed that they could. 6 hours before her flight, someone called to inform that they could not pick her up because she was not in the city. How ridiculous! Even worse, the lady on the phone told her to speak to Janet for a refund but Janet was not around. In fact, she was never around! This begs the question.. One star is for service, they only received one other star for the rate, but beware, rates are not fixed apparently, read on... 1. Payment confirmation system between main office and drivers is a disaster. a. Just because I paid through paypal and was having a difficult time locating the confirmation in my mobile phone e-mail, I was asked by the driver to call the office to double-check my booking while I was already sitting in the van. b. A VERY nice lady was dropped off at the Hyatt and she was asked by the driver to call the office to pay by credit card WHILE STANDING ON THE CURB with all her luggage around her, the driver watching on and within earshot of whoever happens to be also in the van. Drivers only accept cash. c. I thought I was ready the 2nd time around and had my $11 ready (and a couple of extra dollars for POSSIBLE tip). Upon drop-off at SFO airport, the driver looked confused at my $12 (with only $1 tip, which was generous, please see 2b below for disaster.) It was my turn to get confused when driver asked me if I received any coupon from the hotel because it's normally $16 (or $17, I forget) He only stopped questioning me about my payment when I said it shows $11 on the website. 2. They take VERY long to pick you up when they don't have enough passengers booked for one trip. (I found this out from the SFO airport personnel helping tourists on the shuttle bays.) a. It took 30 minutes to be picked up from the airport, all the others around me were getting picked up by various shuttle services and I sat there waiting for San Francisco City Shuttle to pick me up. b. I waited 40-45 minutes to get picked up from the hotel. I called 4-5 times to make sure somebody's coming to pick me up. My pick up time was 3:30, they said it could take an extra 10 minutes, then 5-7 more, then a few minutes more. I was ready for pick up at 3:20, I didn't get picked up until around 4:10pm. 3. They could simplify on their website where to go at the airport for pick up. Calling their office for directions while schlepping your luggage is also quite a challenge. It took 2 calls and several minutes just to let me know that I can go to where ALL THE OTHER SHUTTLES ARE IN THAT ENTIRE AIRPORT. Imagine your first time at an unfamiliar airport and you're being asked if you're in the arrival or departure area, if you're at the upper level (when you can't see at that moment which lever you're at, if you can see the middle island, etc. read more

We made a very standard booking - 2 people to pick up in San Francisco to go to San Francisco airport, a week in advance of the flight. On the day, the shuttle did not turn up. After waiting 15 mins, we called the office and they said that "we were not on the list". We then got a call back saying that another shuttle could be organized and would be there within 30 mins. This would have been too close to call to get to the airport, so I declined and arranged a Lyft instead. I have been charged, and have been trying to get the company to refund the money for the last week without response. No service provided, money charged, zero customer service - feels like a scam. If there is more than one person to be picked up, take an Uber/Lyft/Sidecar instead - it ends up costing the same as I found - plus you dont get the stress of wondering if the shuttle is going to turn up. read more

Please. Save yourself from stress and AVOID this. Don't think that just because they received some good reviews that they "might" be okay. They aren't. I booked a round trip shuttle for 2 people, paid in advance, too. When we got to SFO, I followed the instructions and called them up to advise them that we were at the airport. We were told that the shuttle would arrive in 20 minutes. It never did. I called again and was informed that another shuttle was on its way. (She made it seem that we missed the first one when the entire time we were at the spot she instructed us to be). It never came. We spent almost 2 hours waiting for them which ruined our itinerary and the woman had the nerve to hang up on me and avoid my calls after when I said that I was going to make a complaint. Mind you, I was still composed and polite. She started sending my calls to voicemail. We ended up taking a different shuttle. I talked to a different lady the following day who promised to send us an email and give us a refund. It has now been more than two weeks, no email and NO REFUND. Everybody needs a vacation and these guys know just how to ruin it. They steal your money. Avoid them. read more

Made an on-line reservation 4 days prior to my scheduled pick up. Paid with PayPal, received a confirmation email from SF City Shuttle that included the confirmation number, pick up time and location. After the shuttle was 15min late I called the dispatcher. The dispatcher said that my pick up was not scheduled and could not get a shuttle to my location for at least an hour. This delay would have made me miss my international flight out of SFO. The dispatcher was incredibly rude and blamed the mix up on me because I did not call the night before to make sure the reservation was scheduled properly. He abruptly told me to call a taxi ($40) because he could not help me. The dispatcher also told me that he would refund my shuttle fair. Well that never happened and my credit card was charged. I did take a taxi to SFO and just made my flight. YIKES!!!!!!! I am writing this review so that no one else gets put in this situation with this unscrupulous company. read more

Dropping my wife off at sfo for business travel and one of their vans pretty much cuts us off (from left lane to curb) only to park with about 8 feet behind them in front of the red cross walk. Since we had our blinker on and were going to park right where they did. Guy gets out of the van, we get out of the car and head to our trunk. He says "hey white boy, move your car back". No kidding. I say to him, "or you could pull forward" he immediately gets aggressive (I guess that's what racist people under 5'6 do) and says he's going to open his door into my car...which he does... And scratched our front end. We have photos of him flipping us off etc. This is all in front of customers mind you... A polite call to the number on the van was almost as bad. Kids screaming in the background and VERY broken English stating mis information. If you want asshole drivers, seemingly sub par vans, bad driving skills and your life on the line this is the way to go. read more

I called this company because of the good reviews. They wanted to pick me up an hour before I needed to get to the airport--even though I live in Potrero Hill and it takes 12 minutes to drive from my place to the airport. They said they didn't know if they might need to pick up other people after us, perhaps downtown! That wouldn't even make sense. I will call Quake City instead, which I have found reliable in the past. read more

I'm shaking right now with anger. I may just miss my flight because of this company. Rude, unprofessional, sloppy. Shuttle was supposed to pick me up at 11:30. I called at 11:35 to check & was literally yelled at! Unprompted. I wasn't even mad yet. I didn't even know yet that they were unable to pick me up at 11:30 & failed to call me to tell me about it. Before he even told me that the driver wasn't going to be able to be there until noon, he was yelling at me. Why was he yelling at me? I still have no idea. Do NOT use this company. BEWARE!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! My girlfriend and I travel to San Francisco last week. We read many reviews on different shuttle companies, of course there are good reviews and bad reviews with each company. Despite the bad reviews that we read with San Francisco city shuttle company, my girlfriend thought she would give it a try because of the low cost. We booked one way only from the airport to our hotel to give it a try. I called the phone number to let them know that we had landed, I was greeted by a very rude woman with a very strong accent who was yelling at me (I'm not sure why she was yelling). I hung up and proceeded to follow the directions on their website. We were assisted by the friendly airport staff who called the company for us for pick up and gave us a ETA time of 20 to 30 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes the airport staff advised me that the shuttle company has not checked into the airport yet. 5-10 minutes later and after seeing several people coming and going, seeing several "Super Shuttles" passing by, I called the company again. I was greeted by the same rude woman who was yelling at me, she told me that I was waiting in the wrong section and their shuttles are at the airport making stops every 10 minutes... The airport staff confirmed I was waiting in the right spot and if I wanted he would call a shuttle for us. At this point it was almost an hour after arriving at SFO, having a young child with me I decided for the staff to call a shuttle for us. Within 5 minutes SuperShuttle was there and took us to our destination. Had we decided to pay the extra $20 in the beginning, we wouldn't have experienced such horrible service nor waited an unnecessary hour at the airport for our shuttle to never arrive. Lesson learned.. Based on other reviews, they mention it will be like pulling teeth to get our money refunded. Super Shuttle is the way to go! read more

Really?!?!? How hard is it to find Fruitvale and E 18th in Oakland? After a text to confirm the address and several calls, our driver was hopelessly lost in the streets of Oakland. No Smartphone, GPS, knowledge of Oakland, nor common sense. The pick up was over 30 minutes late. I made one big mistake too.... I booked with them before checking their Yelp review.... Looks like I am not the only one frustrated by poor service. (Had to come back on to edit this when I noticed they don't have Fastrak and had to wait to pay cash tolls..... I guess the most important thing is we make it there in one piece... Wish us luck!) read more

I have to say I never took this ride but trying to book it was next to impossible. The person on the line kept asking over and over again the spelling of my street and to repeat my phone number....not once but 3 times. Then after I told them repeatedly the street name and city location, they replied: "where's that?". I finally said "do you think you will be able to find it?" and the person hesitated and said "i will talk to my driver". I thought forgetaboutit. read more

I've used this service 4 times from South Beach to SFO and each time, I was picked up by "Doc." Doc always arrives early (even though it's 4 am), helps you with your bags and respects your privacy by chatting only if you initiate first. I highly recommend this service. In fact, I never take the cab to the airport anymore because why pay $50 when you can pay $16 for the same thing? Also, they are extremely accommodating. I once called for a pick-up with only 2 hours advance noticed and they were able to do it. read more
