where would i be without aegis? probably trying desperately to get to the airport, hitchhiking in the rain on market street, throwing money at anyone driving with an empty carseat and room for my family. see, what they don't tell you when you have a kid is that getting to and from the airport all of a sudden gets really stressful. it's the law to have your kid in a carseat and it turns out that carseats don't come included in taxis or ride shares. sure, you can take all your luggage and your kid's luggage and your kid on the muni and then to the bart, but you have to save at least some of your sanity before you board the plane. lo and behold, there is aegis limo. on request, a fancy towncar will pick you up at your house and IT COMES WITH A CAR SEAT. you just have to ask. and it's not much more expensive than a ride share. aegis is awesome. we use them every time we go to the airport and it's one less thing to stress out about. call them. read more

Car was on time and the toddler car seat was ready upon airport pickup. However, the driver Phillip Huang was not a very great driver and was a bit reckless at times. Additionally, I'm currently 6.5 months pregnant and wanted to sit in the front passenger seat for comfort, but was told I couldn't because when I opened the door, the floor was filled with things/trash so I was unable to. The side passenger of the vehicle where I sat also had a bunch of trash/items and seemed unprofessional for a $150 car service. The driver to the airport, Ray Wu, was great. Safe, personable, and was a great experience from start to finish and allowed my husband to sit in front so I could be comfortable in the back. Masks were worn at all times for both trips. read more

A+ all the way. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I requested round trip service with meet and greet for my elderly mother, who hasn't flown in a long time and was nervous. The Aegis team picked her up in a lovely, new, clean car and helped her with the check-in process, carried her bags, and accompanied her to the security gate. She said she felt very safe with them. They texted me to let me know she had gotten through security safely. On the return trip, my mother's night flight was over 5 hours delayed. Even at 3:30am, the Aegis team was courteous, professional, friendly, and diligent. Again they texted me to let me know when my mother had been dropped off safely. Now that we have kids, trips to and from the airport have become quite the ordeal. Our first lesson was that we couldn't show up at the airport 30 minutes before departure like we used to. Our second lesson was that we needed to make sure we had extra formula and diapers for the kids. And our final lesson was that iPads are lifesavers. Invest in one per child if you can. Totally worth it. Recently needed to take a weeklong trip with the kids and realized that with carseats being mandatory now, we needed either drive ourselves or else lug those carseats with us. In comes Ray at Aegis Limo. His car service was recommended at a kid's playdate and I am so glad I followed up. You just go online and input your order including which type and how many carseats you will need (no extra charge!) and his people will show up with the carseats already installed! Cheaper than uber service and even parking at the airport for a week. They were completely on time and the cars were nice and new. Excellent service for me with my 8 month old baby. I was picked up as agreed, actually 45 minutes early as i arrived ahead of time which was very helpful. My driver was friendly, very helpful and loaded and unloaded all of my bags (pram and crib) with care and consideration. I did specify that my baby wouldn't fit into an infant capsule when booking, but an infant capsule was all that was available in the car. Luckily he just fitted and wasn't over the weight limit. Hence the 4 stars, I would book a toddler seat if I need to use them again. read more

Could not recommend Aegis and Ray Wu more highly. Like many other reviewers, I was looking for a car service that could pick up my family (including a 3.5 y/o toddler). After calling to confirm the reasonable rate from the Peninsula to downtown SF, Ray asked me to fill out a simple form online to make sure he had all the information he needed. I liked that he quoted an all-in price that included gratuity and any additional fees so there were no surprises. Ray arrived early at the pick-up point and was a safe and conscientious driver.
