My boyfriend went here 8/23/25 because we've had good experiences before. This time, absolutely not! We ordered burritos that normally come with meat, cheese, rice, beans, and we add pico inside. The first order was wrong, we received two wet burritos, which we did not order. After going back and trying to correct it, I still received the wrong burrito. The big glob of cheese on the outside of the burrito was so thick. The insides only contained means and beans. The pico was given on the side & was not fresh. According to my boyfriend, the person taking orders looked confused at the sound of a carne asada burrito & wasn't very knowledgeable about what came in the burrito. This seems accurate seeing as how we both ended up with the wrong order which took entirely too long. Will not be returning. * 1 Star because I did still eat it, I was starving! & the meat had a decent taste. read more

Joes to go is the place to be for Mexican Street Tacos ! Love the made to order plates always hot fresh. The Ground Beef is hands down the best here in town for a Mexican Restaurant. The guacamole is so good and made fresh along with the fresh mexican waters they make in house. Always clean and staff is friendly. On the weekends they are open til 4 am and just makes having a taco so much better when your out past your bed time. One of my favorites ever. San Joe's is the best Mexican joint in town, sorry Mi Casa, you're great but San Joe's actually knows what a California Burrito contains. Also, don't sleep on the wings, they're fantastic. Horchata is tasty. Tacos are wet and run down your arm while you eat them, which lets be honest is the sexiest thing that can happen while eating tacos. Ramiro, thank you for all the years of delicious food. These people giving it one star can get stuffed. They don't know what they're talking about. Complaining about it being busy, and not getting free food. It's busy 'cause it's good. You don't get free food for waiting on the phone for ten minutes. It takes forever to get the food. Call ahead. The food is pricy for a truck. The first time I had them it was reminiscent of eating pure salt. I am just not impressed with this place. Do not I repeat DO NOT give your money to this place. The service is shoddy. I've given this place multiple chances but tonight was the last straw. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Not worth the headache. Where do I start? I've experienced waits here anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes. Yes 90! For a few tacos. Tonight was the second time in a row that I tried to place a to go order over the phone. I left my house and made it to the restaurant, 12 minutes later and they still haven't paid attention to my phone call. I showed the "manager" that I was still on hold 12 minutes later and her response was that she's "sorry it happened, we're short staffed." Mind you the same exact thing happened last week. Then she proceeds to tell me I still have to pay for my food, and she won't even give me a DRINK for free! I am done with this establishment, and you should be as well. read more

The absolute best Mexican food in Albany Georgia. It's a food truck that never moves. Food is always super awesome. You walk up to the window and order. It does take a minute to get your food, but they cook it when you order it. I have no problem with that. Lots of people love the William Special, but my favorite is the Mexican sandwich. This spot reminds me so much of all of those taco trucks that were scattered all through San Diego. I lived in San Diego for over three years and due to the city's close proximity to the Mexican border, there were plenty of these types of establishments and I ate at them frequently. Joe's To-Go may seem a bit difficult to find at first. This restaurant is not in a typical building. In fact, it is a converted food truck with a small shaded patio area for eating. It is in the rather large shopping center with the Tony's fitness and Dollar General where Dairy Queen is. The food is very authentic and very good. I like how the food is cooked to order. It makes it taste that much better. I love the tacos and burritos. The chimachanga is delicious also. They also serve wings in a wide variety of flavors. I normally get the Lemon Pepper or Garlic Parmesan flavors. The wings does the job. The only negative are the prices. Traditionally, Mexican food trucks are rather cheap and inexpensive. Here, the food prices are a bit higher than normal. That was the only reason why I didn't give this place five stars. However, I will of course be back to get my Mexican food fix. And by the way, this is one of the very few places in the city that stays open until 4:00 A.M. on weekends for those late night after-the-club cravings. read more

The Asada Tacos were great and the service was food truck fast. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxed and quaint. When driving by it is easy to miss because the back of the building faces the road and the front is facing the Dollar General. They have a traditional menu including all of the standard Mexican cuisine but what sets them apart is the 25 different flavors of Chicken Wings they have. What a gem to find in Albany! Nothing fancy, just good food. A little shack in a parking lot. My wife had fish tacos and I had a fish and a steak (carne asada) taco. We had them on soft corn tortillas "Joe style" which was with onion, cilantro and tomatillo sauce. Don't order your tacos "American style". If you want that, go to Taco Bell... The tacos were great. The only down side was they only give one tortilla and soft corn tortillias tend to split with only one tortilla. The others issue was the steak... It really needed to be chopped up finer and could have used some more seasoning. Definitely going back!!! read more
