My car part arrived to their shop and was painted quickly. Once ready for repair, they called me in for installation. The installation took about 15 minutes and the Job was done professionally! Shout out to a Chandy - she's a sweetheart and really took a lot of stress out of the process! I had been in communication with a couple of other collision centers, and they gave me the runaround. Hit a tire carcass on I-95 and snapped the bumber clips and moved front bumper out of alignment . They quoted $250 for parts and 3hrs of labor to fix it. An hour later the job was done, they said they did the best they could straightening out a bent bumper attachment(hmm no mention to using those parts I paid for??). The end result was marginally better than before I brought vehicle to them. I sent before and after photos to the owner asking if this was the best they could do, but they didn't reply. Vehicle is a 2020 Nissan Rogue, and very clean with no previous accidents. Bottom line, if you have a lease car and insurance sends you to these guys, they are fine. If you are looking for real craftsmanship, I would not recommend them. read more

I have had good recommendations for San Jose and they did repairs on family members vehicles in the past. When I was involved in a minor accident I took it to San Jose. It was finished fairly quickly and looked good initially. As I was detailing the car I noticed several imperfections in the paint. Took it in and it was corrected. Over the next week I found a few more imperfections which they did correct. But it did take 3 tries. This morning I was doing an interior detail and found paint overspray on the door jambs and door rubber. I'll be correcting this myself. Bottom line the attention to detail is lacking. The office staff was great as was communication. However having to have such a minor repair corrected several times is unacceptable to me. read more

Brought my car in for Drivers Door Damage to be repaired from an Insurance Claim my neighbor backed into it. In addition, I had them paint the passengers door side from a keyed mark and bumper out of my pocket (repaint door and blend it in back quarter (just clearcoat) ($1700). The front staff was very friendly and personable 5 stars. My car is a 2006 mustang (cream puff). Apparently, Door handles are not part of the door and an alacarte item that you must request ON BOTH SIDES insurance claim or not, so the paint blended in well but the door handles look like crap. The timing of the work was efficient but this is very very disappointing. It was an Oops, "guess I will start mentioning that in my quotes in the future". Moral of the story, Don't assume the obvious because now it's an aggravation I will have to look at and be reminded of for years. read more

Stopped in for an estimate without an appt. The team at San Jose Collision was polite, helpful, and looked at my truck immediately. As it turned out the paint was not damaged and with some solvent they were quickly able to clear what appeared to be paint damage like it was brand new. No quote needed for repair and no charge. (My excuse for causing the damage is that it is difficult to judge how close the front right side of the Tahoe is to the garage opening.) The worst customer service I have Experienced . AUTUMN the receptionist was so rude and un kind . That alone I will take my business elsewhere . Don't bother saying thank you because she will say mmm hmmm and hang up on you . I understand that you may be new to Jacksonville but you also work for a company that you should be a little more informed of your information. There was no need for the rudeness on the phone. We had a scratch and chip in the paint on our 1971 Dodge Challenger. SJC did an amazing job in color matching the custom paint color. They were very professional and took extra care of her since she was a classic car in the lot. Kept her indoors at night. They even went above and beyond by bugging some surface rust off of the bumpers. Only negative was that the trunk trim wasn't installed when a rain storm came through causing water to leak into the trunk. they have given me the run around three times. they couldn't get the bumper to fit so they recommended glue. charged over $1500 and couldn't complete the job correctly and then offered to glue the bumper back. and on top of that they report to carfax. If you're thinking about using them for repairs, don't. may be cheaper but it isn't worth it. I recommend Gerber collision. read more

Not good - TERRIBLE. I cannot overstate how awful my over three month experience with them has been. Original estimate in Feb was for around $4600...now, more than three months later, they just submitted a fourth supplement - damage they didn't include in the first estimate...pushing the total over $13,000. They promised phone calls they didn't return, they promised email statuses they didn't provide. They told me three different times my car "might be ready today or tomorrow" and it wasn't. When I finally got my car back, JUST OVER THREE MONTHS LATER, the windshield wiper arms were literally reversed, the interior door panel was scratched and damaged, and the passenger door won't open if the window is rolled down. They told me they'd order the parts to fix that...TWO WEEKS AGO. They submitted a supplement four days after I picked the car up, and I assumed it was to fix those things, but no, they JUST NOW submitted a supplement because I followed up AGAIN. I would think if I sent a car home that wasn't right I'd make sure I ordered the parts and got it taken care of promptly. I wanted to use a local company and they came recommended and with good reviews, but I hope no one EVER has to go through what I have. read more

It took my 1953 Chevy street rod into San Jose Collision Center to repaint the hood, install a new grill and two bumpers.. They went beyond the Call of Duty and did a lot of extra work that wasn't in the original estimate and didn't charge me for it.
