Arrived about 20 min before closing needing a bouquet of flowers. Was helped immediately as I walked in and was told they could make me something if I didn't see anything that was pre made. They put together a beautiful bouquet of lavender and white roses in about 15 minutes. Amazing price as well. Not overpriced. My new go to spot for flowers. read more

Last minute boutonnière as it completely slipped my mind! I rushed to San Jose flowers and asked if it would be possible to purchase any boutonniere available given the last minute request (a few hours before prom starts), he happily assisted me. He had me pick out a ribbon and I took seat as he went to work. It came out beautifully and very thoughtful on the magnet application to attach to the tux with the option of including the pin for the traditional attachment. Just recently visited SJ Flowers after San Jose Foos had posted the free flower giveaway. When I showed up and asked if they were promoting anything, they simply said "no, we just wanted to spread kindness. We really need it right now!" and it made me smile! Being your typical guy, I have no knowledge when it comes to flowers. All I know is that my girlfriend really loves Peonies. After calling around different shops, either their phone doesn't work or they don't have peonies. I thought I was running out of luck until I found San Jose Flowers. I called and briefly talked on the phone to the wonderful staffs, Alma and Anna (sorry if I mispelled!), told them what I mainly wanted which was peonies. Sample pictures were setn through text and I told them I leave my faith and trust in their hands. Came to the shop after I got work and I was blown away with the presentation. I don't know how much flowers cost usually but the price for the work of art I received, it was worth every penny. The best part, it was my anniversary and my girlfriend was beyond happy seeing how beautiful the flowers were! Thank you guys so much for help and will definitely come back to buying more flowers! read more

Absolutely amazing florists! I saw the Yelp reviews and SJ Flowers proximity to my house and gave them a call. I was out of town and was looking for a 'Impact Bouquet' for my wife to recognize putting up with me for 35 years of marriage. My wife is an absolute saint and I wanted something that she would 'gasp with amazement' when she receives the delivery. I called and spoke with a delightful woman. She asked me to go to SJ Flowers website to provide her with some inspiration for what my wife would like. I was looking for a tropical flower arrangement and shared the budget that I wanted to spend. When my wife received the bouquet delivery, she was blown away. I live in Los Angeles and found myself in a bind. I needed to send flowers to my friend for her bday, and I waited until the last minute. I browsed a few other florists via yelp in San Jose. Most were closed on Sundays (the day I needed to have them delivered) or outrageaously expensive. I found San Jose Flowers and was pleased by the price points & options available. I was also very happy to see they didn't have any extra charges for next day delivery. I ordered the flowers online Sat and my friend received the them on Sunday at noon. (I did noy pay extra for a specific delivery time option). My friend loved them, and although the flowers used in the bouquet will vary depending on the seaon, the theme was on point! San Jose Flowers sent me a confirmation email of my purchase and they also sent me an email letting me know the flowers were delivered! I'm from Honolulu with family in San Jose and it was my stepmoms birthday and she really loves flowers so I quickly did a search and stumbled upon San Jose flowers. I'm so relieved that they had a ton of wonderful options of arrangements and they're insanely reasonably priced! We ordered the garden bouquet and it was about 200 bucks (with tip and delivery) which was well worth it as the arrangement was HUGE! Ordering online was so efficient and easy. I'll admit. Flowers just get me all warm and fuzzy inside. They always have- but when you get arrangements that are absolutely over the top gorgeous like these ones are, you can't help but smile inside. Lucky me got 2 of these gigantic floral arrangements in one week. Yes, it was my 44th birthday and I can't help but pinch myself because all I've been doing is staring at them every chance I get. I've never been to this particular florist before and I have no idea how much something like this costs since it was given to me. What I will say is the thought and time that it took to put these together say everything about the talent behind the floral designers here. These finished arrangements are what I have been waking up to every day-- and if you could see how much I smile just looking at them, I'd probably have a permanent grin on my face. Yes, it's that beautiful. Literally shaking my head at how amazing these are. And the smell? I have to be careful not to sniff up the pollen from the stargazer lilies. Had an amazing customer service from Alma. I settled my order all through IG and SMS. (I couldn't call them as I was with the recipient - wanted it to be completely a surprise) They were very accommodating and even sent me pictures as reference! Flowers are fresh! One thing I hated is when florists soak the flowers to keep them fresh and comes out everything wet! San Jose flowers did a great job and kept the petals dry. I arranged it as pickup a day before and it was great! Flowers were ready when I arrived! Try this place out! read more

This place recently changed their name to San Jose Flowers -- I think it is safe to assume it's under new ownership or management. I've been going through a lot in my life and my three best friends have been by my side every step of the way. As a small token of appreciation, I decided to buy them a bouquet of flowers. I mean, let's face it -- flowers can brighten up a day for any woman. We all love them -- occasion or no occasion. I saw some bouquets in the front that were already wrapped up nicely. The sweet girls that assisted me advised that they were $15 each. I wanted the arrangements to be a bit bigger so I purchased 5 of them and asked one of the gals to combine the two into the 3 arrangements that I was planning on giving. She wrapped them very nicely and I was able to write a small note for each of my girlfriends. If you do a Yelp check-in, the shop will give you a 10% discount. So for 5 bouquets (put into 3 separate arrangements), I paid roughly $75. Not bad considering how pretty the flowers were. I love supporting local small businesses so I will definitely return should I need more flowers for anyone in my life. read more

During the COVID-19 pandemic and shelter-in-place order, San Jose Flowers was able to make our mother's birthday so very special! I called San Jose Flowers after closing (approx. 6:10pm). I figured that they were closed so I hung up after a few rings. San Jose Flowers immediately called me back and accepted my order and offered last minute delivery! I gave them our budget and paid over the phone all within a couple minutes. They delivered a beautiful bouquet at 8:30PM, way past their closing hours! Their selfless and amazing customer service completely made my mom's birthday! The flowers were absolutely gorgeous! This place a tiny little gem that totally saved me today... and during COVID even.. We had a drive by parade celebration to attend for a friend of mine who graduated with her masters. We were looking for a flower shop in an area I'm not familiar with and my passenger spotted the tiny little shop. We pulled up to the curb and saw the Covid related sign on their door telling us to call a number. I did and the gal was so accommodating. She asked me how much I wanted to spend and I told her the colors ... 15 mins later she brought out the most perfect arrangement in the perfect purple vase. I definitely feel like I got more than my money's worth. Absolutely beautiful flowers. I will be referring as many people as I can in the San Jose area. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND! My friend sent me a very generous, giant bouquet of long stem pink roses during a rocky time. The bouquet is probably the largest I've ever received! They were at my door and very pretty. I could tell many of the flower pedals looked wrinkly and not very fresh but it was still a beautiful bouquet and such a nice gesture. Less than 24 hours later, two roses had flopped over dead and less than two days in, several are limp and droopy. A portion of the bouquet is a different bunch of pink roses that are not fresh. Also they put wayyyy too much baby's breath so it's overwhelming the roses and making it so they can't stand up straight, causing more droop. I contacted the store with photos of the wilting flowers after less than two days. They asked that the person who bought them to contact them. Um no. I'm not going to tell my friend who spent a fortune on flowers that they already wilted. That's so rude! I replied and told the store I will not being telling my friend and asked why they can't resolve it with me, the recipient. She wrote back that it's "store policy" to give options to the person who bought them. What, are you going to offer him a discount for wilted flowers? Or give him the option to let me enjoy wilted flowers? Replace the flowers!!!!! Make it right for the recipient!!!! Your customer paid a lot for fresh flowers that last more than 24 hours! It's so unacceptable to not work with the recipient of the flowers who is obviously really sad they're already dying. They're for the recipient to enjoy, not the buyer. That's BAD service and a poor reflection on them. Now I just look at them and feel so sad (and mad) that my friend wasted his money at a store that doesn't take care of it's customers. Thanks for ruining a nice gesture SJ Flowers. SO DISAPPOINTED AND BUMMED!!!!! read more

Can't believe I haven't given this place a review after a couple years, but better late than never! This place used to be called "Guadalajara Flowers" for the longest time, and recently changed their name. If you're in the East Side of San Jose and get Peter's Bakery, then you should also stop by this shop to get some flowers It's literally a couple steps down the same road! SJ Flowers is a small business with a great variety of flower arrangements. In the past couple of years, I have walked in and picked out arrangements, I've ordered for deliveries on special occasions, and have NEVER been disappointed! The owners and employees are sweet and always have something to offer/ in mind if you're looking for something. I love supporting small businesses and I'm glad I got my Mother's Day flowers from Guadalajara. Overall, I think the quality of their bouquets are fantastic for their price. I ordered online and set up a pick up time for 11:00 AM the next day the Friday before Mother's Day. I arrived at 11:20 AM and unfortunately, they were just starting on the flowers so I didn't get to pick it up until around 11:45-50. (-1 Star). They were very apologetic and offered me any already-made bouquets that were available. I opted to wait because I just really liked the flowers that I picked up for my mom online. It was worth the wait! The flowers were beautiful and smelled so nice. Their prices are very competitive and if you check in, there's a 10% discount. Support small businesses! read more

Each friend who has received a birthday arrangement was in love/awe with their gift. --Timeless Bouquet-- (Perfect for someone is is classy, elegant, love neutrals, and beautiful things) In July 2022, Urban Flora texted me once the flowers were dropped off; I had the flowers dropped off outside as my friend was quarantining and was the point of main point of contact while keeping this a surprise. --Pink Sorbet Bouquet-- (Perfect for a lover of pink, someone with a vibrant personality, maybe someone into anime). In March 2025, Urban Flora will e-mail the purchaser that it has 'shipped' once it's about to be delivered and will e-mail the purchaser once delivered. It would also be my first choice for my man -- if only they delivered to his city which they do not -- might have to do a pick-up one of these days. I would not recommend Urban Flora for last minute custom for like a Condolence arrangement - I did reach out in 2023 but was not able to get a hold of them at the time. Otherwise whether you order the day prior (within a reasonable window frame - they can get the job done, orders prior to noon would be best for those situations -- and the more time you give in advance, the better the delivery experience and outcome. You definitely get what you pay for and 'the best bouquet' is the experience you are providing.

We booked Ruby a year in advance and throughout that time we chatted about my vision for the wedding. Ruby helped me narrow down a color palette and was patient with me as I changed my mind about the color closer to the wedding date. The biggest ask of Ruby was to execute the arch of flowers and I can't believe how stunning it turned out to be. She completely understood what I wanted and made it happen. We also ordered two aisle markers, which got reused in front of the sweet heart table. All the round tables had candles, bud vases, and a wreath of Italian ruscus. My bouquet was colorful and vibrant. All my bridesmaids were given a singular bouquet that featured a flower from my bouquet. As they all have a piece of my heart. My husband had a pocket square boutonniere. The groomsmen had boutonnieres on their lapels. We also did a boutonniere for my grandparents and officiant. She was mindful of my budget and recommended multiple options when it came to what I could do for arrangements and set up. She was on site for set up and was such a trooper for setting everything up a bit of venue chaos. Ruby is a wonderful florist and we would love to work with her again in the future for different events and celebrations. We also look forward to recommending her to every bride and groom. The prices were clearly listed when I first contacted them, unlike the others who wanted to know what I needed first or wanted my phone number first. Communication was clear and professional. The only star deducted was that they wanted cash (not even Zelle) when they deliver. So, someone has to be at the house at time of delivery. That was a little weird.
