I came about a week before the wedding w/ my best friend and her parents to see the venue and to ask the final questions and anticipate any improvisions (if needed). Angela is the event coordinator was thorough, sincere me, organized, punctual, and very accommodating. I felt at ease and comfortable the moment I met her. When I saw the space, it looked like a general banquet room, nothing spectacular however, I was proven wrong when the decorations, chairs, and lighting transformed this room into a beautiful place for my 2 friends to get married. My friends decided to have the ceremony there as well as the reception. Scottish Rite Center pretty much supplied us w/ everything for the guests' dining experience: plates, utensils, holding trays, glasses, champagne glasses, pitchers, ice - basically everything you might need to serve over 200 guests, this place has it. My friend had a vision of where things should go and etc. but thanks to Angela's advices, suggestions.. my friend used her expertise to finalize the big day. My friend did not need to hire servers or dishwashers... Angela coordinated everything w/ her staff so that everything from refilling the water to serving the eclairs were prompt, never leaving the guests asking for additional requests. We used the kitchen to prep and to hold the food and beverages. Security staff were all friendly and very strict even though my friend's sister's husband followed me to the car to retrieve their belongings. He was just carrying a cup of ice water and they wouldn't even allow him to take it w/ him. But my overall interaction w/ the security guys were positive. Slowly towards the end time, Angela and her staff worked tirelessly to store the leftovers and to clean here and there w/o giving any impression that we were rushed. I majored in hospitality so what I witnessed was a positive experience. Not only Angela was there on the day of, she was basically the server, busser, janitorial; everything. There were no hiccups at all. I can't say no hiccups w/in our bridal party. Our ring bearer dropped the rings so my partner to walk down the aisle left me to scramble to find the rings. Success! The rings were found! He hurried back and we made our grand entrance. After we parted, I waited w/ the other bridesmaids and started crying when Christina, my best friend walked in. The music changed... it is happening. The memories of taking her to Fuddruckers after her now ex cheated on her came back to me. The memories of her helping me w/ Gavin came to mind. Seriously. This girl changed her work schedule just so I can finish my semester. Not just her but the groom were always there for me w/o physically being there for me, even when I was MIA. They listened to me and they advised me as well. All their assumptions w/ my love life was right.... they need to meet and approved the next guy, haha. All jokes aside... 2 great individuals marrying each other was awesome to witness. I'm honored to be a part of it. It was only yesterday that Christina and I were making peanut butter burgers... her complaining that Enrique will never propose. He sure did. He invited family and friends over - no one knew but he proposed to her in the most romantic way ever. I'm super happy for them. Thank you, Angela! I had a blast doing the cat walk w/ my partner and met some great ass people whom are now my friends. What's next? A BBQ at Enrique planned by Marley and/or deep fried Twinkies w/ the gang. I literally can't even begin to explain how grateful I am for this venue and the people who work there . OH MY GOSH . Where do I even begin . My mom recently passed so this place was recommended by a family friend . Angela , the coordinator is literally heaven sent . She went above and beyond . I don't know the first about planning death related events let alone being my mothers death related event . And Angela was so phenomenal and helpful . Angela was amazing! She was super helpful throughout the planning and execution of the event. We had a presentation and slide show and Angela had all of the adapters we needed. Being the forgetful guy that I am, I left a video adapter back in Los Angeles, but Angela had it! The venue space itself is very spacious with a large stage and a good PA system. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for nice large venue. read more

We have been using the Scottish Rite Center for our Non Profit Organization for events for many years now and Angela and her team are always there to help and most accomodating. There is lots of space to seat 300 people easy , we set up 58 table booths for our purpose and it still has lots of room to walk around. Ample parking space and easy access to the center make great. Make sure to book your events early, specially if you need a Saturday. read more

3.5 stars for the location and space. I came here this past weekend for the Bead Show. . The location is great. The ballroom is small but probably perfect for a party for about 100. The space is old and would need a lot of work if you plan to use it for your event. If you or someone you know is a Freemason, you'll most likely be able to get a great price for rental fee. The dance floor is a little small. There are three levels for the space. The lower level is the dance floor, the intermediate level would be perfect for the head table and the third level would be where your tables would be. Near the back would be a perfect area for a buffet setup. There is no bars in this space but I'm sure you can set one up. There's a fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel refrigerators. I think this is a perfect venue for a birthday party and a small wedding. read more

I have had multiple events there, and I cannot be more pleased every time. Angela is the best! She is very helpful in every way. Because of her I have recommended this venue to multiple family and friends that have also been happy. I have spoke and interacted with some of the gentlemen at Scottish Rite and they are not as welcoming as she is. I will always recommend as long as she is there. Thank you Angela!!! read more

My sister had her quinceanera here..I don't know where to begin. But from the beginning the hall manager Angela was amazing! The most flexible person I have ever met. She led us every step of the way. The details being the most important.. My immediate family as well as my extended family had the speechless look when they walked into the hall. After a year of planing it was all worth it. My family and I were very happy with the outcome of the event. I wouldn't think twice about recommending the Scottish rite Center it's the perfect place for a small or big event. I had a wedding there 2 years ago and only now got to posting a review. Angela is really the best thing that happened to us during wedding preparation. Everyone in the wedding business try to rip you off or make your life more difficult. She was like an angel sent to help us. She had an answer for any question and request and never charged extra for anything. Her energy, drive and knowledge of what she was doing made her my best friend for the time being. We were hired to bartend here for a wedding not to long ago. When i was told of the location i was hesitant, being that we are used to full bars with all set ups we usually would have. Though it lacked a lot of things to make it a perfect bar, which doesn't ever exist, Angela the coordinator there sure made everything easy on us. Her staff and her were well prepared with back up plans for everything before we were there. Anything that we overlooked, she had already prepared for us. The biggest plus which anyone who bartends knows is ice. they have an ice machine on site that produces plenty of it. Dish washer in the pack to run our stuff through, a fridge, just a lot of amenities that made our lives easier. Whoever did the decorations, i want to give you serious props. the place looked amazing. you would think you're in some fancy party that made your prom seem ghetto! just beautifully done in my opinion. If you're looking to host a private party and want someone who will take great care of you, give this place a try. in the future if anyone asks me to bartend here for a night for their private party, i'll gladly take the job. read more

Let me just begin by saying that my experience at this hall on New Years Eve was awful! Of course everything I am about to say is because of what the facilities manager told the security personel to do! So, as you read my review remember that the facilities manager is completely at fault here! As soon as we walked in, the "security patrol," yes only patrol, warned us that we were not allowed to go back to our cars at all, should have known from there that this was going to be a long night. Now me and my family were enjoying ourselves, trying to ring in the new year, when all of a sudden at 1:30 AM on New Years Day, security cut the music and started to kick everybody out and I mean literally kick us out! The facilities manager and the security were extremely rude! They did not even bother helping us pack up when we had to clean up everything from a party of over 250 people. They were constantly riding on us to get out and not in a nice way at all!!!! Me, my family, the entire crowd that we had at the party were extremely upset and angry that we had to start our new year with very rude, disrespectful and absolutely unprofessional facility managers!!! We will never again be using this facility and I highly advise that none of you use these facility ever!!! Awful awful experience! Very disappointed!!! And another note, I wanted to give them zero stars, but that's not an option unfortunately so 1 star it is! read more
