    Tacos

A hidden gem in Southern Mobile. It is a meat shop, but also an authentic restaurant. I had three tacos and horchata, and was stuffed! Great portions and the servers were very sweet. My friend got the fajitas which were loaded with peppers, onions and great slices of chicken and beef!

I placed a to go order July 4th of 2017. I ordered two tacos and there was dirt/mud in one of my tacos. What sucks about this post is that this place was my go to place for tacos and we were regulars. I came back immediately (never even left the parking lot) to inform someone. I got a refund and the the man at the register (who I'm guessing is the owner cause he's always here) was apologizing and saying how it was degrading the entire time. I have never experienced such foul behavior and I hope he fired who ever did it. All I could do was look down and shake my head as I walked out. I am so disappointed and I will never be back.

This is probably one of my favorite hole-in-the-wall places! It's a small restaurant located next to their meat supermarket and their tacos are amazing. I ordered the Al pastor (pork), chicharron (crispy pork belly), pescado (fish), and lengua (beef tongue) tacos. Each taco was only $1.75-$2.50, and oh so worth it. Hands down, the pescado taco and lengua taco were probably my favorite, with the chicharron being my least; the crispy pork belly was good, but it was just hard to chew/eat in a taco. Of note, pretty much everyone there speaks Spanish, so it would be super handy if you or someone you bring spoke some espanol~ Also, they have some tasty ice cream/Popsicles for those who still have room for dessert after dinner! Overall, 10/10 would come back again!

Just like the tacos in SoCal. Unassuming place in strip mall with sign "San Jose" and you'll find a full menu of Mexican food. Everything plus the service was great

    Yum yum

This place is a hidden treasure. The food doesn't get any better. I've been to Mexico multiple times and this is as close as it gets. Very hospitable servers. Do your self a favor and come eat here the next time you crave Mexican food! Two thumbs up

I love potato chips and have to eat them sparingly. I always look at the potato chips options. During my last visit they had Great Lakes "skin on" potato chips. So delicious. Actually it down the street from the main campus. It offers a wonderful location. It has a large parking lot. Only challenge is making a left hand turn depending on traffic since the main road is two lanes. This store offers many different options for those hard to access foods, fresh spices, and drinks. As you walk in. They are an international market but more focus on Middle East cuisine. Not just your Europe and India ingredients. Besides the regular stuff you can buy at a small local market. You are overwhelmed with the wonderful abundance and aromatic of fresh made spices. Actually, as far I know, know where I have been locally that offers what they offer. If so, please let me know. I was able to find hard and unique ingredients not found anywhere else. As far as I know. They also an abundance of great wine selection. If you cannot find the wine of your choice. Give them a look. They might offer what you are looking for. I especially love this space since they have a small kitchen that can make fresh middle eastern dishes. I was hungry, so I grabbed the original (lamb ) gyro and a bottled water. It was delicious. Well worth it! (Gyro is meat cooked on a vertical rotisserie, then sliced and served wrapped or stuffed in pita bread, along with other ingredients such as tomato, onion, fried potatoes, and tzatziki. In Greece, it is normally made with pork or sometimes with chicken, whilst ground beef and lamb are also used in other countries.) They off free Wi-Fi. I believe it is password protected? They offer a few outside seating as well as small indoor spaces. But if not, you can always get it to go. Well worth it if you are in the area. Especially go here if you need that specific ingredient that you just cannot find. If you are hungry and want something delicious. Feel free to stop by and grab a bite. Definitely a must if you need that special ingredient for your delicious meal. If you are in the area and want a quick bite. Stop in!

Usually, I find the things that I want, provided that I do not need any help from the Walmart employees. As always, I come to Walmart for the low prices. Though I realize that I also have to deal with long lines, over crowded aisles, and overworked employees who might be a little frustrated. I've never had any major problems at this location and generally, this store is ok.

I completed this in Florida. I moved to Mobile in April thinking changing my address would suffice. HA! Don't know where my $40 went but now I get charged for delivery tip every time, whether the Mobile store actually gets my order to me or not. I only receive about 1/3 of the orders I place. The rest I get a message saying it can't be delivered & I'll receive a refund. What's the use? This is the worst system I've ever encountered. I'm not saying Florida is better than Alabama by any stretch of the imagination BUT Florida uses its own employees and its own vans for delivery and I never had an issue. Here in Bama I've had young women deliver my groceries in their personal cars, bringing the kids along with them, including bringing them right to my door. That could potentially cause WM problems, in case they aren't aware. And their shoppers are terrible. I've tried several times to cancel my Plus membership but those requests go unanswered. I've now traded Wal-Mart for Rouse's & Pop Shelf. Cleaner, nicer, better products. No delivery but as an old Boomer, I'll make do. That's what we do.
