Thank you to the Redwood City police, fire department, and EMT service. I'm 75, handicapped and…read morepush a 4 wheeler because of balance issues. We were headed to the Kaiser Audiology dept., on Marshall St. I was tiring, and my wife decided for me to sit down on the 4 wheeler and she would push me the remaining 100 yards to the front door of 702 Marshall St. Pushing me along we hit an uneven patch in the concrete sidewalk and the 4 wheeler went over backwards. The back of my head struck the concrete very hard, but I did not lose consciousness. I saw that my 79 year old wife had fallen also. The police had been conducting some business 15-20 ft away. Two officers immediately came over and were able to get us back on feet, which at that moment I started off to my appointment. After I was seated inside, the officers came into the building, to check on me. They said because of my age and it was a head injury, that I should have it checked out. I agreed and in few minutes, the fire department and EMTs arrived and took me by ambulance to Kaiser hospital, a couple of blocks away. After a CT scan showed no sign of internal bleeding or fracture, I was allowed to go home. YAY!! I feel fine today, but my wife didn't fare so well. Swollen foot, and some other bruises. There was broken glass where I landed so my hand was cut up, but I was able to take off the bandage this morning and toss the pain killers. I also want to thank the doctors, nurses, and attendants at Kaiser hospital. One of the officers also escorted my wife back to her car. She was very grateful as she wasn't feeling to steady.

Love or leave it...3 Follow up: called back at 2:20am after I was told that I should move but that the bars closed at 2:00am. The noise was worse than before and I was told that the officers were coming. Denied telling me that I should move . Called back at 3:00am officer was dismissive and said that they were too busy. 3:30 still waiting. Wish I could rate negative 5.

Sleep deprivation, breakfast 3:30 AM, count 6 AM, dinner 3:30 PM, count 6 PM. Impossible to get regular healthy vegan food, unless you work in the kitchen and they are nice enough to make it for you with the sour cream on the side, still iffy which foods are vegan no labels. Won't follow my allergy request for milk and egg on "vegetarian" meal. All I did was have cannabis and MDMA in my own home and the cops busted in threatening to shoot us, and in the court no one spoke to me, but the lawyer said they were blackmailing me into going to prison. I still don't understand how jail is supposed to help anything whatsoever, and how they try to force milk and eggs in your food, because somewhere there's an animal in a cage just because they wanted to put me in a cage. Still a bit unstable mentally from being forced away from my family. Other than that it's pretty okay if you have time to spare it's like a sleepover for adult man babies with racially based clicks/gangs. Tap water, my pineal gland is just clearing up now. No ingredients listed on the food. MSG and GMOs. Hard to get regular exercise if you are used to running and swimming.

In the almost 20 years I've lived in San Carlos, I have fought a few good fights. I fought to pass…read morebond issues benefiting our schools, I fought to keep our police force, I fought to get a stop sign installed on a busy street near Brittan Acres School, and when my ailing, elderly neighbor came to me for help, I fought against the homeowners next door to his rental who were breeding rottweilers in their garage and terrorizing his tenants to the point that they were afraid to empty their trash at the side of the house. The male broke through the front door and viciously attacked a toy collie across the street, traumatizing his elderly owner, Mary Livisgood, so badly that she never really recovered. She told me the Changs paid her vet bills and "gave her a bottle of wine to calm her down." Exemplary behavior, don't you think? Mary died a few years later. So did the elderly neighbor, John Taffe, who had elicited my help in the first place. When I saw the rottweiler go for another dog's throat in front of my house, I talked to the breeder about the safety of my young child. His response was: "That's your problem." So, I filed a police report. When these dogs attack other dogs, chances are children are next on the menu. The officer taking my report told me he wouldn't even let his 14-year-old in that backyard. When the breeder applied for a kennel permit because he had three dogs (plus the lucrative puppies), John begged me to help, and I rallied my neighbors to appear before the town council to expose the breeder for what he was: the owner of unlicensed, non-neutered animals who had several reports on file with the Humane Society. These dogs had also broken down the fence and run amok. It tells you something when even the mailman wouldn't go near the house; the owners installed a mailbox at the end of the driveway. My initial review was about a loud dog whom the neighbor (now a renter in the Changs' rottweiler house) let bark non-stop, even though I knocked on his door twice at 10:30 at night. He didn't do anything about it, and so I had to call the police. The noise ordinance here says you have to be quiet after 10:00 p.m., but did he care? No. Then, when another renter persisted in parking in front of my driveway I, again, had to ask the police for help, and the renter retaliated by trashing me on the internet and letting their dogs poop in my front yard. So, San Carlos Police, I thank you again for having my back. Hard to believe all this goes on in little San Carlos, but I guess uncivilized, even criminal, scofflaws who could care less about their neighbors are among us.

Over the past 2 months I have been stopped 4 times. First I got scoped out at night and stopped for having no front license plate, secondly another officer had pulled me over for having no exhaust tips... when their vehicles don't come equipped with them either. Another time they pulled me over for not using my signal to change lanes, These police officers have never experienced real crime and are a bunch of rookie cops. They feel as if they can pull you over just to validate your residency in Foster City. A very sad police department, and a nuisance to the Foster city community.
