We were headed to the Kaiser Audiology dept., on Marshall St. I was tiring, and my wife decided for me to sit down on the 4 wheeler and she would push me the remaining 100 yards to the front door of 702 Marshall St. Pushing me along we hit an uneven patch in the concrete sidewalk and the 4 wheeler went over backwards. The back of my head struck the concrete very hard, but I did not lose consciousness. I saw that my 79 year old wife had fallen also. The police had been conducting some business 15-20 ft away. Two officers immediately came over and were able to get us back on feet, which at that moment I started off to my appointment. After I was seated inside, the officers came into the building, to check on me. They said because of my age and it was a head injury, that I should have it checked out. I agreed and in few minutes, the fire department and EMTs arrived and took me by ambulance to Kaiser hospital, a couple of blocks away. After a CT scan showed no sign of internal bleeding or fracture, I was allowed to go home. YAY!! I feel fine today, but my wife didn't fare so well. Swollen foot, and some other bruises. There was broken glass where I landed so my hand was cut up, but I was able to take off the bandage this morning and toss the pain killers. I also want to thank the doctors, nurses, and attendants at Kaiser hospital. One of the officers also escorted my wife back to her car. She was very grateful as she wasn't feeling to steady.

City police departments are funded by city sales taxes for specific incorporated city entities. County sheriff's offices are funded by county property taxes and service the unincorporated areas (not within any city limits) of a county. I called the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office in Redwood City a few weeks ago after two very unpleasant encounters with a strange man who turned out to be a neighbor. I was verbally assaulted by this man in a blue SUV while I was walking around my block and talking on my cellphone. I told him to leave me alone and go away. But, he instead followed me in his vehicle along the sidewalk where I walked, driving in reverse! Two days later, he shows up at my door, pounding it until it was answered. I demanded that he leave before things became ugly. I called the Sheriff's Office the next day, after I had a chance to calm myself and think more clearly. The county dispatch sent a deputy sheriff from the Millbrae office to my location. Deputy Sheriff Brian Moore arrived with an associate named Jamie who was observing and in training. I was immediately impressed with both Deputy Sheriff Moore's demeanor and Jamie---both were smiling and very polite. I invited them inside and we talked for about 20 minutes. After they patiently listened to my entire story, Deputy Sheriff Moore offered advice in a respectful way and expressed sympathy to what I had been through in my encounters. Jamie, a young attractive woman, looked at me with kindness the whole time. I did not feel misjudged or taken lightly by either of them. Deputy Sheriff Moore explained that since no laws were technically broken, and the stranger did not explicitly state bodily harm in my two encounters, there was nothing the deputy sheriff could do except file a report documenting my statement. I explained that this was the reason I asked for him to come . . . to file a report just in case any further incidents occur with this strange person. The most meaningful advice Deputy Sheriff Moore gave, was for me to consider forgiving the stranger and be open to the possibility of talking with him again. He shared his own experiences with criminal suspects he chased down streets, tackled, handcuffed, and arrested . . . and later became friendly with. I was very touched by these stories. It has been years since I felt attacked and threatened on a street potentially for racial reasons and has happened only a few times in my lifetime. But, I consider these experiences opportunities for growth and tests to show myself that I will stand up to hostile conflict when I need to. I am proud of myself for standing up for myself . . . and even more so, to hear the wisdom of Deputy Sheriff Moore to forgive, move on, and be willing to make friends with someone you thought was your enemy. That . . . is my kind of spirituality. Thank you, Deputy Sheriff Brian Moore! Review 0166 Feel.

The firemen arrived within minutes and assessed our situation. They first told us we had another 12-16 inches to go before it was a big threat, and we could probably make it through the night. Then, after watching me try to get my hose to work as a siphon to help drain the water, they realized, we probably wouldn't sleep that night unless we figured out a way to lower the water level. Sure enough, they left, only to return about 5 minutes later with a sump pump for us to use through the night. Not only were we really grateful they came on such short notice- but we were even more grateful they were so willing to go above and beyond to help us feel safe. I slept that night... not well, but I did manage to sleep, thanks to our Fire Station #15! I have never been the type to call on the police or fire dept. unless it's a real emergency, and seeing that this could have been a way worse situation- we were really happy to know our fire dept. came through for us. It's nice to know these guys are just down the street from us, in case a REAL emergency happens one day. I should hope I never have to call them again, but if I do, I am certain they'll come through for us again! We love our Fire Department!!!

Won't follow my allergy request for milk and egg on "vegetarian" meal. All I did was have cannabis and MDMA in my own home and the cops busted in threatening to shoot us, and in the court no one spoke to me, but the lawyer said they were blackmailing me into going to prison. I still don't understand how jail is supposed to help anything whatsoever, and how they try to force milk and eggs in your food, because somewhere there's an animal in a cage just because they wanted to put me in a cage. Still a bit unstable mentally from being forced away from my family. Other than that it's pretty okay if you have time to spare it's like a sleepover for adult man babies with racially based clicks/gangs. Tap water, my pineal gland is just clearing up now. No ingredients listed on the food. MSG and GMOs. Hard to get regular exercise if you are used to running and swimming.

The compost is beautiful if you are into these kinds of things: deep black, earthy, and warm to the touch. My garden loves the stuff.
