Do yourself a HUGE favor and never consider coming to this office. The staff is beyond rude and inconsiderate which seemed to be something Dr. Che was taking care of. Now it seems after going for years and it just kept getting worse, the Dr has to be the source for allowing, enabling, and now participating in such treatment and abuse of customers. For years she blamed her staff for poor ethics, and it seems she hid behind them and used them to cover the source of the poor business model is in fact possibly her...I have been gaslit, ignored, lied to and denied services due to attitudes and egos. I have never been treated so poorly as well as charged so much money that was on behalf of staff negligence and/or mistakes. This office will not ever help you with an issue, you will need to book an optical appointment for the many issues you WILL most definitely encounter with this narcissistic staff system. You will pay more than you ever anticipated, I paid over $800 for glasses I absolutely hate and were not made correctly, for which the unprofessional staff was to blame. I was not in any way anticipating this cost and was in fact misquoted due to staff negligence/ignorance...Dr Che assured me I could call her to avoid further issues which was another lie. I called to no avail and went in person finally to try to get answers and was told I would need to book an optical appointment just to ask a question. I could see Dr. Che so I walk back to her and was followed by her very rude esthetician and I was gaslit, teamed up on as well as denied service by both Dr Che and her esthetician because I had to demand answers for the many lies that led me to incur a financial defecit after again lies and misrepresentation of products ordered and damaged incurred to items as a result of staff negligence to specific needs...This is by far the worst service and personal treatment I have ever received by a medical office. The optical care by Dr. Che however is accurate and I trust the prescriptions and assessments provided by her. She is a great doctor, however only clinically speaking. I can say everyone I have encountered at this office, Dr included, are people I really would never want to have customer service from ever, also I would never trust them with taking into consideration the money spent on covering the mistakes and lack of communication as well as dishonesty from the entire staff. Pass this place by quickly if you value customer care as well as consideration and honesty regarding the money you are spending or are able to spend. This place does not care about any of it. You will be treated borderline abusively and then asked to pay for it. Hard pass. So disappointing as the clinical assessments are quite good. Dr O'Brien would be so sad to see this is who he left his Optometry practice and legacy to. Such a shame really. Seems so difficult to find integrity nowadays. This was just that. Zero integrity, zero care, zero respect, zero compassion, zero manners, I could go on and on but this is my concise review of how awful my experience here has been. I am being very kind and I hope this is clear. I have never experienced worse treatment. This entire business is run by narcissists. I almost did not post this review and as a person who gives everyone the benefit of the doubt, I attempted to schedule and they claimed I could not be scheduled as they had an alert on my file to speak to a manager to schedule me. I am a very peaceful person and have only asked for honesty and integrity. I have never acted in any way to warrant being "flagged". Only a narcissist can't take it when you uncover their lies. This is what is now happening. Continued gaslighting, blame shifting, and denial of responsibility... look up narcissist tactics, it almost entirely describes this business model of San Pedro optometry. The receptionist I spoke to most recently seemed sweet however. To this young lady, I suggest looking for a plan B job. All employees have been fired as long as I have come here as a cover for the poor business ethic by the doctors. You will be blamed for the misconduct and probably fired like all of the other employees. In short, do not work for, or give this place business. I have never seen such a horrifying display of mistreatment of people in general. And to those who have experienced this as well, I hope this review is validating to all victims both patient and employees, it is not your fault, and you didn't do anything to deserve how you were treated and the things you were accused of while at San Pedro Optometry.
