Always a great experience here. Great good, great service, and great atmosphere! We come here every time that we visit Disney World!

Amazing lunch! Kids loved seeing all the animals, easy to park in the garage, no charge. As long as you have a reservation you enter the resort no issues. From the second you enter the decor, the animals it's like being immediately transported into a safari resort in Africa! Loved everything highly recommended the bread service!! Also love that they are of ours so kid friendly as are most places on disney property!

We Loved sharing the bread service though we didn't really know what we were eating, well kind of; somebody else dumped it off on the table with some quick cursory description. We also didn't see any gazelles, zebras, giraffes, kudu, ostriches, or cranes either; but we didn't really expect to either. They're around and about if you look for them. It's not a zoo! lol Overall, was fun for what it was. Hadn't been to the resort in years so it was kind of cool milling around. And likely a one off situation here, but the garage was under construction when we visited and there was a lack of construction signage so we ended up parking in a closed area and getting scolded when we tried to use the elevator and were later blocked in and needing an escort out. lol How does that even happen? We chalked it up to some adventurous fun :)

This has been a favorite of our family since it first opened in Kidani Village. The setting doesn't get much better with the theming and being open on one side with windows showing the animals outside. Make sure to ask for a table by the window if possible. The servers are always very helpful and have that Disney level of service. I always recommend asking their recommendations for menu items as sometimes they will let you know of options that are not listed. The food is what always makes us come back here. I think it is virtually impossible to visit this restaurant and not get the bread service. In our last visit, we actually saw a family of three that in my opinion, did it right by ordering two bread services and a couple appetizers. The burger for lunch is a little different but very good and their seasonal salads are always fresh and delicious.

Cool atmosphere and location! If you get table by the window can watch the animals. We got the bread service which was good! The sauces and breads are not in any order or labeled so some were hard to know what it was. The naans were okay, Ives had better. The sauces/chutneys were good lots of different flavors. I got the braised beef and chickpeas for my meal. The beef was very tender and the chickpea side had lots of flavor from the spices Overall decent Indian but not super authentic. There was no spice level options for the dishes. Will say a bit confusing as seemed like Indian food with African ambiance but I guess they are an African Indian fusion.

Great experience inside a Disney resort. We came with reservations for lunch on a weekday. It was very busy so make reservations. I politely asked if it was possible to get a table near the window so my baby could see the animals. They were nice and helped me out, especially a lady at the front desk. The place is super cool with windows that allow you see the animals. We saw zebras, giraffes, and different types of birds. Fun! Foosd was a bit pricey but everything was tasty. The beef dishes were my favorites. Butter chicken was a bit sweet. The bread spread was fun. It included different types of naan and many different spreads. It was a great shareable dish. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had a great time and will definitely come again. Tip: of you have a reservation for the restaurant, you get free parking

Been wanting to try Sanaa for a long time, as we love all the other restaurants at this resort and go to them all regularly. Our favorite Disney restaurants are Boma and Jiko. We were excited to try it for lunch one day recently and were very happy with the entire experience. We were greeted with animals outside the window and were distracted by them for quite a while. Quick service in a nicely air-conditioned space was welcoming on a hot day. We tried the bread service and quickly found our favorite dips. YOU MUST GET THIS. It is so much fun and tasty too! I got the butter chicken and my husband got a vindaloo. Both were so very well prepared and enjoyable. Attentive and personable service on par with Disney expectations. We will be back.

Outstanding lunch at Sanaa. I went with my husband on our anniversary. We had a reservation and arrived about 30 minutes early. We parked in the self parking lot which was free but they also have valet parking. We checked in with the hostess as soon as we arrived and requested window table seating. We were told there's no guarantee but they would try. To our luck, we got the perfect table with a great view. We ordered the bread service and the lamb kofta. Everything was so delicious and my husband loves spice so we also requested the spicy sauce that comes with bread service if you ask for it. Our waitress, Morgan, was amazing. So kind and friendly. She brought out a small complimentary dessert for our anniversary which was delicious and such a lovely way to end an amazing meal. The resort is so beautiful and it was so fun to see the zebras and giraffes walking around. I would love to go back! Thank you to Morgan and the Sanaa team for such amazing hospitality!

We had such a memorable evening at Sanaa at the animal kingdom lodge. We arrived a bit early and used valet parking, which made everything super easy. Since our table wasn't ready, we spent about 20 minutes outside taking in the view. It ended up being one of the best parts of the night. Watching the zebras and giraffes roaming around at sunset felt surreal! Once we got seated, we started with cocktails. I had the bees knees, which was light, refreshing, and a great way to kick things off. Of course, we had to try the famous naan flight, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The breads included traditional naan, garlic naan, spiced naan, onion kulcha, and paneer paratha. The accompaniments were just as impressive. It comes with mango chutney, roasted red pepper hummus, coriander chutney, tamarind chutney, tomato date jam, cucumber raita, and a jalapeño lime pickle. It was fun mixing and matching flavors! For my entrée, I ordered the butter chicken with rice and lentils, and it was exactly what I was hoping for rich, comforting, and very flavorful. As expected with Disney dining, it wasn't spicy at all but still really satisfying. We finished with the giraffe dessert, a peanut, banana, and chocolate creation that was almost too beautiful to eat. The presentation was incredibly artistic, and it tasted just as good as it looked. Overall, Sanaa is such a unique experience with great food, great service, and unbeatable savanna views. Definitely worth it.

I can only comment on the mobile ordering, but this was fantastic. While visiting Animal Kingdom Lodge for the Christmas decorations, we decided to finally try the bread service here. Since we could not get a reservation, we opted for the mobile ordering. I had ordered the bread service and lamb meatballs (both appetizers), and they were ready fairly quickly. The bread service was ample for 3 people to share. It came with a variety of dips and breads. I cannot wait to come back to dine inside the restaurant next time.

Sanaa, in my opinion, is probably one of the best restaurants on Disney property. We went this past weekend for my birthday, and had a great time. Their staff is very friendly and attentive, from the moment you are greeted at the check-in counter, to meeting your server and enjoying your meal. Their bread service is the star of the show. You get 5 different types of flat breads with 9 dipping sauces that range from mildest to spiciest. ALL of the breads and sauces are amazing, and it's a lot of fun to mix and match different flavors. The rest of their appetizers are also delicious and presented beautifully. Honestly, whenever we go back I plan on just enjoying the bread service with a few apps and cocktails because it is definitely more than enough food. I barely was able to get through my entree with how full I was. lol. Their cocktails are also pretty potent and pair great with the bold flavors the food offers. I enjoyed a Manhattan and an Espresso Martini and was thankful I wasn't driving. lol. I can't wait to go back. Sanaa is at the top of my list of Disney restaurants.

Sanaa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is hands down one of my favorite places to eat on Disney property, especially around the holidays. The lodge itself is beautifully decorated, which already sets the mood, but what truly makes Sanaa special is the view. It's the only restaurant at the lodge where you can dine while looking out at the savanna, and if you're lucky enough to get a window seat, you'll be right next to one of the habitats. Now, let's talk about the food. GET. THE. BREAD. SERVICE. I cannot stress this enough. It is the number one must-order item here. The variety of breads and dips is incredible. I personally love the tomato jam, the tamarind and the mango chutney. I highly recommend tasting each spread on its own first, then mixing and matching flavors to find your favorite combinations. It's fun, interactive, and absolutely delicious. For dessert, I tried the giraffe cake. While mine wasn't quite as picture-perfect as some of the others I've seen, it was still very tasty. The banana flavor is pretty mild, so don't expect it to overpower the dessert. Definitely make sure to try it with the peanut brittle, it completely changes the flavor profile and adds a really nice texture. Between the atmosphere, the views, and unforgettable dishes, Sanaa is a must. It's a place I'd recommend not just for the food, but for the experience as a whole.

Tried out the Sanaa quick service breakfast. The ambiance is amazing since you can sit right by the windows and watch the animals outside. It definitely left a lot to be desired. The ordering was easy through mobile ordering and there were plenty of places to sit. Where it went wrong was the food itself. The avocado toast was very soggy. The short rib hash was pretty good, but it was sort of strange that there was no egg or anything on it. The banana bread French toast, to me, just tasted like a slice of banana bread. I think the Sanaa quick service is worth checking out, but I probably won't be rushing back.

Can I use a Disney gift card as a payment method here?

    Yes!

Can they make the dishes non- or less spicy?

It wouldn't hurt to ask. I would think so. Just not maybe some of the dips that come with the wonderful breads as I Think they are pre made in large batches.

Do you have to be in the park to eat here?

No. Sanaa is located at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, a resort on Disney Property but not located within a park.

Would you be able to see the animals for a dinner reservation (roughly 6pm)? Or is it better to go for a lunch time/afternoon?

Yes, as long as the sun is out, there are animals to see. I was just there at 7:PM and saw a giraffe up close to the window.

I heard they were doing construction and therefore the view of the animals it's not the same. Anyone been there in the past week or so and know the answer to this?

Was there 2 weeks ago and there was no obstructions to the view of the animals.

    Are there halal meat options?

Honestly, not sure! I would call ahead

Can you see any animals at night?

    Yeah

How many people would the bread service serve? Would we need extra bread for 5 adults and 2 toddlers?

Yes! I think the larger bread service with 9 sauces (only $2 more, not sure why anyone would get the smaller one with 3 sauces) would be plenty for your group. We have had it several times with three or more adults and have never finished all the…

After a hot Orlando day it was a little chilly in there but that's totally fine. Our food came out in good time which warmed us up. The food is SO good. It's simply a must try if you're in the area. Everything was so flavorful. The saag paneer was very tasty and full of paneer. The veg korma packed in a ton of flavor- if you get it spicy just know it hits you after. You can also taste the cashew which I like, but my sister doesn't love a lot of cashews so this wasn't her fav. The paratha was good just a little dry on the inside, but I'd still get it again. The tandoori roti was also great- super fresh! Now the biryani. I LOVED the paneer biryani. Truly so so good, it is a flavor heaven. Tons of different spices, onions, and paneer...yum! All of us loved the paneer biryani so much that we had to go back and get it again after a day at the Kennedy space center (being open till 11 was very clutch!). We got the veg biryani in addition to the paneer this time. And while I loved the paneer biryani... the veg one takes the crown. You cannot skip the veg biryani. It is out of this world. Probably one of the best ones I've had, certainly in recent memory. My taste buds were practically singing. My mouth is watering just thinking about it right now. Do yourself favor, and get the veg biryani. It is just absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back on our next Orlando trip!

The restaurant, in our view, has gotten increasingly lacklustre in the past couple of years. While the tables and the interiors are still generally clean, we have noticed wobbly table legs and cracked/torn seat covers that seem to remain unchanged and/or unrepaired for months. Coming to the food, while most of the Punjabi and North-west Indian fare on their menu has been the typically Americanized Indian food for the most part, anything outside of that category on their menu can and will throw you off. Especially if you've had the authentic stuff and know what those dishes taste like. On our latest visit last night, we ordered dahi tikki for appetizer which was served to us without the dahi. No attempt was made on part of the server or the kitchen staff to correct the error and provide the yogurt dressing. So we had a couple of aloo tikkis (spiced potato patties) with the regular chutneys that were at the table. We also ordered chicken vindaloo, bhindi do pyaza and butter naan for the entrée. To our surprise, the chicken tasted nothing like vindaloo and it had potatoes in it!!! LOL! For the uninitiated, Vindaloo is the Indian interpretation of 'Carne de Vinha d'alhos', which was introduced in the early 16th century to the former Portuguese colony of Goa in India. In Goa, the dish is colloquially known as 'vindalho' or 'vindaloo' and is prepared in a very similar manner to its Portuguese counterpart. It's a type of braised meat prepared with bold fiery spices and wine vinegar to impart that recognisably bold, pickle like flavour and has a beautiful, rich brown sauce. Vindaloo has absolutely NOTHING to do with Aloo (potatoes) in any shape, way or form. What was served to us seemed like some Frankensteined variation of Chicken tikka masala with some potatoes thrown in at whim. The bhindi do pyaza was alright in terms of flavor but the team in their kitchen ignored to discard the cap/stem of the okras causing the preparation to have a rather unpleasant texture and mouthfeel. The butter naans were also very inconsistent in texture. The first one was fine, the second one was overcooked, brown and crispy and the one we ordered to go was slightly undercooked and doughy. Also, not sure if it's worth mentioning, but the lights inside the restaurant kept being dimmed to the point of being turned off several times when we were seated at the table at around 8:30PM. I'm not sure what's going on with this restaurant but if the owners and staff actually read the reviews, please do something about it. We have been to Saffron before and we used to really enjoy the food, the service and the overall atmosphere. But lately it's been all going downhill. The only saving grace is that the portions served here are still huge. But that won't save the restaurant if the quality of the food and everything else keeps tanking. It'll be a shame to see another good restaurant fall from grace. We would absolutely urge the owners to take notice and fix things so those of us who have loved this place in the past can keep returning.

The green curry shrimp was a clear standout. They also had lots of chicken tenders and mac and cheese for the less adventurous kids. On top of that, the character interactions made this experience even better. It was easily the best part of our toddler's entire trip. I commend the characters because our toddler got so much facetime and every other kid there did too. This restaurant is a must-try if you're at Animal Kingdom! It's worth every penny.

This review is based on today's visit!…read more Tusker is my choice when think to go to a theme character restaurant at Disney! I love it, but today unfortunately a lot of negative points. First, mickey, goofy, daisy and Donald were amazing, they appeared many times and always bringing magic moments. Our server was bellow average, didn't refill any drink, was kind angry (or tired) Last time to seat was 7 pm, but at 7;20 they closed some food islands and didn't replace the food, also some plates like the beef one was really chewy and dry, well overcooked. For 64 per adult + tip + tax you expect more But still my favorite character restaurant at Disney property, but don't arrive 30 min before the last call as we did.

Gujaratis make wonderful vegetarian food, in India and right here in Orlando, Florida. It's just two blocks up Lancaster from the unbiquitous Orange Blossom Trail. Mr. Patel, who started the business, is a cheerful man who I've known, through the restaurant, for years now. He, his wife, his son, and others have managed to find a way to grow this business without sacrificing their home cooking identity. While personal taste is always the deciding factor, you will find 9 things in 10 suit you to a tee. This place is not fancy. It's one dining room, with chairs and tables, without metal utensils, tablecloths, cloth napkins, candles, soft music, and the rest of the stuff you have on a romantic date. No, it's a buffet lunch place with plastic utensils and disposable plates. But let the snobs have their cloth napkins... we come to eat! And if you think, "How good can a small, no frills, family-style Indian restaurant be?", I'll only say that this little restaurant is catering a four day Indian weddding celebration... in BALTIMORE! That's in Maryland, for the geographically challenged, not Florida! Call before you go to Khasiyat because sometimes they close to manage the catering work. So, in short, (1) Low on ambience but High on friendly; (2) Great on service because if you need something you can't get yourself, there's always someone to help; and, (3) Great on taste and variety, including return trips to the buffet, fresh roti made to order, and dessert, and all for about $20. There are also prepackaged savory and sweet snacks for sale, all from the skilled hands in Khasiyat's kitchen. Try it!
