Entered a flow state while here recently and I've been coming for a decade. I can't believe I haven't written a review. I'm convinced it's the best Indian food I've ever had and I've been all over the world. Honorable mention to their butter chicken, saag paneer, and lamb korma. Remarkable service as well. I'll be back every time I'm in Orlando.

Amazing Indian cuisine! Waiter was super helpful and nice! Ambiance was cozy! Their gulab jamun was delicious! Their chicken beriyani and saag was really delicious. Loved their mango juice, I could tell it was freshly made. Amazing experience overall.

My girlfriends treated me to dinner at Saffron Indian Cuisine, and it was our first time. The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The servers were very polite and friendly gentlemen who made us feel welcomed We started with veggie samosas, which were perfectly seasoned and crispy outside. I enjoyed dipping them in the mint and tamarind (brown) sauces. The orange sauce on the samosa plate had a nice little kick, and everyone at the table loved it! I ordered chicken korma for main dish, one of my favorites. I really enjoyed the creamy curry sauce with nuts. One of my friends had lamb korma, and the lamb was soft and flavorful. Another friend ordered a different curry and asked for "medium spicy," it was vivir too spicy than she expected. She was sweating, but enjoyed it., So Indian "medium" can be quite spicy. So, if you're not used to spicy food, I'd recommend asking for mild--I always do after a few lessons learned. We didn't order dessert because we were all so full and ended up taking leftovers home. I had my leftover a few days, it was still good. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I'd definitely come back again!

I would expect this place to be a lot more filled, due to how yummy the food is. It's been a favorite of my parents, so naturally it became a favorite of mine. Food comes out pretty fast. I will list what we got. We enjoyed it all, perfect variety of spices and flavors, as we all ordered different levels. Staff is extremely nice and helpful! Wow, the servings here were like twice the size of any other Indian place we have ever been to. Food was very delicious and it was a little different than we have had other places which was a nice change of pace. Highly recommend. Even the mild had a little bit of spice so if you can't handle spicy, then definitely tell them no spice.

One of my favorite Indian cuisine restaurants in the area. Came here for the Weekend Lunch Buffet, available only on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30AM to 3PM. This buffet is an absolute feast--a colorful, flavor-packed spread of curries, biryanis, tandoori specialties, and fresh vegetarian options that showcase the depth and richness of Indian cuisine. The buffet also comes with a drink and a side of nann bread. I love this option as it allows you to explore a variety of dishes that you normally may not try. The food was hot, well attended from staff Cohen continuously stirring, and refreshing. Flavor was spot on, I tried also new things that might become a new favorite. Service was prompt in removing your plate and immediately pouring water in your glass upon arrival. That a fine, value and definite stop if you're in the mood for Indian in the area.

Tried their take out chicken tikka masala with naan - very delicious and hit the spot after a long day at Disney. Standard sized for Indian food (good portions) and flavors were solid.

    As of December 2024.

I love me some Indian food and this place hit the spot!! I can on a Thursday evening and the putter area seemed pretty busy but this restaurant was nice and quiet inside. Walked in and right away grabbed a seat and placed my order. Food came out promptly, hot, and full of flavor. Would eat here again!

The goat curry was delicious except not spicy enough. I asked for Indian spicy (not medium) but was disappointed at the heat level. Goat in bone was amazing in texture and easy to detach from the bone. The rice and garlic naan were perfect combo to help me finish the whole bowl.

I know there are a few locations but we planned to stop at this location specifically during a last min birthday staycation (but not *on* my brthday) If you look online this routinly is on lists of date night and good group dining spots and there will inevitably be a ton of people in the comments complaining about it being "mid" or "basic" but that wasn't our experience at all. We had a great experience here. We initially booked for the first time of our staycation but called last min to push back a few days as I wasn't feeling very well. It was no issue at all and they changed our reservation without issue or complaints & wished me well. The space is really cool. MCM in design with a touch of California beach bungalow. We were seated in a back room with a view of the lake behind. It was a bit loud but most places are these days. I am deaf in one of my ears so one I told our server & she spoke up over the noise and it was a non-issue. Appreciated because that's not always the case. We ordered a glass of wine and the "Shirley After Dark" cocktail (I know it's a wine bar but I just felt like a cocktail) loved it. Would absolutely order it again. We ordered the house salad which was far from basic and delicious and fresh. Very light and decent size. My husband also aired the Cauliflower app which was massive. The hummus was delicious. I'm not a fan of cauliflower but he raved about it. We also split the Butchers Pizza and had them out the hot honey on the side. I can't do spice after destroying my stomach in college so they brought me a side of normal honey so I could hector full flavor profile within my dietary needs. We got to speaking with our server whose name I unfortunately can't remember (light blonde shoulder length hair if management reads this) & she was very knowledgeable about the wine selection. We're not white wine drinkers but the FL heat is a little too much for a glass of red most days so we're trying to get into it. She had 3 recommendations and brought me all three to taste. Unfortunatly I enjoyed was sold out by the time we ordered it (which at the height of tourist summer isn't beyond the realm of reasonability) We then ordered the affogato and olive oil cake. Both were delicious. It was my husband's first time trying an affogato and it has since become a favorite of his. It was mentioned in passing while chatting that we were in a last min staycation as it was my birthday week and we didn't plan anything in advance and made it clear it was not my birthday but she still comped my cocktail and the olive oil cake and wrote a lighthearted "sorry we were out of the wine" on our receipt. Which was a genuinely nice & unexpected gesture. The entire meal was quite affordable even before anything got comped compared with other options of the same caliber in the area. Portons are quite large as well. While I don't love communal tables typically, almost no one was seated at the same table and if they were it was quite far apart (see photos). I can see that being bothersome on a busy night but we were there on a summer night (busy enough to run out of a wine) so I can't imagine it being typically worse than that So I say again, I don't understand what people don't like about this place. We'll be back.

However there was no high pressure sales pitch so don't let that put you off. The food came out fast and, with one exception, fresh. My burger tasted amazing, although the bun was very stale to the point where I just pulled the burger apart and ate it without the bun. The carbonara is more an Alfredo than a carbonara but was still very tasty. All in all, a solid place to stop in at and we'll probably try it again someday.

The entire space felt upscale and luxurious. Our server was welcoming, professional, and very attentive. He took the time to explain menu items and provided detailed service throughout our meal. As much as we enjoyed the atmosphere and service, we expected a bit more from the food. The drinks were just average, and the calamari appetizer lacked the crispiness we were hoping for. We also ordered our steaks medium, but they arrived closer to medium-well. While I enjoy that the steaks has some fat for flavor, it was way to much. We didn't make an issue of it because the steaks were still flavorful, and we were genuinely enjoying ourselves. Now let me tell you about the star of the evening, the Blue Crab Fingers! Whoever decided to put these on the menu deserves an award. They were packed with flavor, and the toasted bread was the perfect accompaniment. Dipped into that delicious sauce, every bite was absolutely incredible. For dessert, we had the crème brûlée. It was just okay. Overall, we had a wonderful birthday dinner and enjoyed our experience. While there were a few misses with some of the food, those Blue Crab Fingers alone are enough to bring us back again!
