After just 1yr they raised my rent $100. I know a neighbor who has been here 3yrs, they've never raised his rent at all. Before I realized how awful it was, I referred 2 coworkers & they signed leases here. There is no referral program at all. Been a renter all my life, worse place I've ever lived.

Just during the month we were moving my husband's mother in, the Head of Nursing left. And administration has not honored some of the aspects of our agreement. In fact, when push came to shove, they outright denied them. Based on our experience, I would never recommend Harmony. The negatives far outweigh the positives when it comes to operational issues. Poor communication and lack of accountability from management top the list. My mother-in-law was there for over a month before she received her first bath. After complaining for weeks, we met with management. We were told that this would be resolved. A week later, we discovered they "resolved" it by moving her into a more expensive care bracket (without our knowledge). When confronted, we were told that she had never requested assistance with baths - or with anything else. This, of course, is not true, but I wonder why she would be approved for ASSISTED living in the first place, if she didn't require assistance. Additionally, if she did not request assistance, what was she paying for in that first care (assistance) level? And why did they give her a bath SCHEDULE? And why would I be complaining every other day about her not getting baths if I knew that wasn't part of her care plan? And why would they go along with me if THEY knew it wasn't part of her care plan? The questions are endless. I won't continue to elaborate, but baths are not the only issue. Eventually, management tired of my complaints. Everything we had discussed previously seemed to be no longer true, and apparently we have no recourse. I have reached out to upper management, but they have shown as little interest in hearing my concerns as lower management. I suggest you seek care elsewhere as operations have not sufficiently improved at this time.

My mother moved into the Independent Living community about a month ago, and unfortunately, it has not been the experience that was presented to us during the leasing process. We were told there would be weekly entertainment, an on-site chef preparing meals, housekeeping services, and readily available maintenance. Since moving in, we have found that many of these representations were inaccurate. The meals are prepared off-site, not by an on-site chef as we were led to believe, and the food has been consistently disappointing. The move-in process also started on the wrong foot. My mother's move was delayed because the apartment did not have working air conditioning. Although we were told the apartment had been deep cleaned, the kitchen cabinets were dirty, the washing machine was covered with soap scum, and it was clear it had not been cleaned to the standard promised. There have also been ongoing maintenance issues, including a malfunctioning dishwasher and an exterior door with a noticeable gap that allows light to shine through and lets the air conditioning escape. What has been most disappointing is that the Independent Living community does not feel like the active, engaging environment we were promised. We understand the campus also includes Assisted Living and Memory Care, but it often feels as though Independent Living lacks its own identity and focus. My mother chose Independent Living because she wanted an active lifestyle with opportunities to socialize and participate in activities, but that has not been her experience. Moving into a senior living community is a major life decision, and families depend on honest, accurate information when making that choice. We hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements so future residents receive the experience they are promised.

There's a movie room for the residents with puzzles and games as well. The common room held craft programs, musical guests and other activities. My mom's suite had two rooms and a bath, with plenty of closet space. It was comforting to her to be able to furnish her space with her own furnishings and pictures. The staff was extremely accommodating and warm. The nurses were gentle and empathetic. It always difficult when your loved ones decline and eventually pass, but the people here made the transition easier to endure and process. Their dedication and care gave us peace of mind.

She had dementia and they made sure all het needs were met. She loved the food and the caretakers as well. I could call at an time and they would check on her for me. The entire staff wad wonderful to us. I felt safe for her to be there!! I am so glad we moved her there!!
