My number one concern with this Physical Therapy facility is that they use barely licensed assistant physical therapists to do the work of a fully licensed therapist 80% of the time. Some licensed as little as 3 weeks. In my case the physical therapist was great, but the supportive help was less than professional. They never took any background information from me. Consequently, on one occasion I was asked to lie on a narrow foam roller to stretch out my shoulder. The exercise injured my existing bulging disc condition. That last straw was their front desk person on my last appointment was rude and referred to my race in a derogatory way as "You People" want everything handed to you. I left the facility and defacto fired them. I got a call from Mr. Swanner who instead of talking it out in his words "uninvited me" to complete my therapy for raising my voice to the front desk person. Super discriminating behavior! If you are Hispanic, I would advise you not to go there.

I went to her with a problem walking more than five minutes because of arthritis in my hip and degenerative lower discs. We went for a twenty minute walk and she watched how my walk changed over that period of time. The exercises she asks you to do at home are simple, but effective, and there is no worrying about making sure you do them correctly because they are simple. Anna is great!

Once in awhile a few other things added - nothing consistent and then was told to bike for a bit. My total appointment was 25 minutes. Didn't feel like I was receiving the care I needed so I discontinued them and went to Swanner - what a difference! At least an hour - they warm up knee with heavy blankets before they bend it (and massage leg) and many other things. Will add more under Swanner.

I was also in A LOT of pain at first, so it's been slow going. I can't thank and praise Kathy Doubleday and the staff enough for their kindness, and patience with me. I am realizing that physiotherapy is different for everyone. For some of us it is merely physical, and for others like me, it is at a deeper, psychological level where many of our wounds are physically invisible. We have had to wade through those levels along with a few physical exercises. It's taking some time as I become aware of some basics which I needed, like inner tuning to my body and what it needs now, at 73 , because the needs of an aging body are different from those of someone half my age. As I walk and sit, I am remembering a new posture which lengthens and straightens, and my intuitive awareness is kicking in. We're not finished yet, and I look forward to more of this kind of physio which works on many levels. Many many thanks to Kathy especially, who is someone I have learned to trust, which is truly remarkable, for me, as trust doesn't come easily.

He talked me into paying over $5000 up front by telling me he had at least a 90+% cure rate for neuropathy. After 3 months he wanted $4000 more to continue my treatments which don't cure neuropathy. There is no cure. That's when my scam alert went off. To make matters worse Anthem sent him a check for my adjustments. He said he never received the check. Anthem then sent him another check and he still hasn't sent it to me. People going to Evergreen Chiropractor and Russel Kun should prepare to be scammed.

The facility itself is very clean, peaceful and welcoming. This being my first time I appreciated that Charisse was super friendly and very patient with all of my questions and concerns. She is very attentive, and I never felt like I was rushed during my appointment. I really loved that she explained everything every step of the way - like how certain body parts work together and how certain things in my everyday life contributed to the discomfort I was experiencing which was the reason for my visit. It has been a few weeks and I noticed improvement by implementing the suggestions she gave! She also followed up which I appreciated, because as a working mom of multiple children, its easy for me to not be in tune with my body so I loved that she reached out to see how things were going. Eugene is great at communicating with me to find out exactly where the issues are (they tend to move and shift and change a bit week-to-week), and targeting them directly. Whether it be adjusting something new or maintaining the ongoing work, Eugene is on top of it. And although I've had some previous PT, the level of attentiveness that Margo shows when working on the actual exercise routine is beyond what I've had in the past. Margo makes the difficult stuff tolerable, she is solid in her knowledge of what needs to be accomplished, and she has always seemed like a champion of my progress. On top of all that, the office staff is super friendly and helpful, I can't even guess how many times Joanna has helped me with scheduling or billing or providing me with paperwork my insurance company requests.
