This consignment shop is highly affordable and really caters to local St. Pete style! All of your favorite brands for really reasonable prices. I've found everything from great band shirts, Anthropologie dresses ($30-$40!! Wow!), to a Michael Kors leather hand bag like new for my mother's birthday. The sales associates are always helpful and greet you right when you enter the store. Very attentive. Funny story: I came in here yesterday to kill time while waiting for the rest of my dinner guests to arrive at the nearby Outback. I'd acquired four or five items to try on in the fitting room. None of them worked out. I placed them on the go-backs rack and then picked up these incredible pants. They have changed my life. I'm giving Revolve three stars because most of the prices are just ridiculous, especially considering the wear on some of the clothes. The customer service was also lacking and left quite a bit to be desired. I find that this shop isn't really size-inclusive either. If you want to shop secondhand, there are far better places that will provide a better experience in the area. I've been going to this place for years & lately it's been so terrible. 4 months ago I brought a bin of brand new quality items / beautiful VS lingerie & they offered me $9 cash or $12 store credit... I went back a month ago & one of the employees was wearing one of my QUALITY shirts that was going to "donation". I was there today with one medium sized bag of clothes to sell. The brown skinned girl with pink hair (don't know her name) took down my information. She did not say how long it would take or that she would text me when ready. I browsed around the shop and after about a half hour went up to desk and politely asked if my order was ready. I was shot a very dirty look and very rude reply from her. I honestly thought they were done considering there was only 1 person before me and only a couple of other people in the store. This person I'm speaking of has a very bad attitude and this wasn't the first time I noticed it as I have been to the store several times. No interaction with customers and acts like she is doing you the biggest favor just because she is there. It is just baffling considering the store relies on people bringing in clothes so they can stay open. I never had a problem with anyone else that works there and always had good interactions with them. UNFORTUNATE - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE Samantha's attitude from our first interaction was cold, short and unwarranted. I greeted her with respect and I feel I was not given respect. She treated me like another task between her and leaving work. When I approached again and said "Can I ask a question" She responded " What?" So short and unnecessary. Her bad customer service was not reserved for only me. I heard her being very short and just not kind or NICE at all to the other customers who brought orders to her. I did speak with the manager (Lauren) who heard me out, was respectful, apologized and then gave me Samantha's name (which samantha refused to do), so that I could write this honest review. I have been coming to revolve and both selling and spending money for YEARS. I have met some cool people here and always had a good experience. Today that changed. Not sure what her deal was but she was also taking an extra long time to get through the only other customer ahead of me. Never had to wait for longer than 30 minutes and after an hour she still hadn't started my order.. I know reviews are important for small businesses and I hope that this review causes some change to happen and some training in handling customers in a better more respectful way for Samantha. I have never been so disappointed in my life with a place.... To begin, I stopped in one day to look around considering I am new to the area and immediately was taking back by the way the workers interacted with their customers, including myself. Very dismissive, not helpful, and little to no interaction. I figured maybe they were having a rough day so I tried again today and went in to sell TWO HUGE baskets of clothing ranging from high end, to vintage, to regular clothings brands and once again was taking back by how rude their customer service is. To start, they say little to no words to you making you feel uncomfortable. They can't take two baskets at once (understandable) so I patiently waited for the first one to get done which had over 50 pieces of clothing, shoes, glasses, purse and received a text message that they would offer me $10 for 9 items. Then, brought the second one in after that and told me that they could give me $4.95 for 4 items. Keep in mind for the second basket I waited in the store for 25 minutes for them to go through it and figured why not leave to give them some time since they said they were so busy. I left the store at 4:12 and at 4:18 I received a message saying they could give me $4.00 for 4 items which in my eyes means they specifically waited for me to leave, didn't even properly go through what I had and then just shot a random $4.00 price at me. A girl with long brown hair was there both times I went into the store and absolutely SHOULD NOT be working in retail. She is dismissive, rude, and constantly complains and talks about people while she's working. Me and my mother run a boutique and I am very aware of how customer service works. My biggest concern today was the way I was spoken to, the little time they put into even pricing or taking items from me, and the approach that they take when it comes to providing customer service. Who is in charge of listing these items that I bring in to sell to them? Because if it's not the owner and it's the employees they have no idea what they are doing whatsoever. I will never step foot in this store again, and I feel sorry for whoever owns this place because ultimately who you have working for you reflects off of your reputation. I took a bag of clothing to Revolver all in Great condition which is more then I can say about the clothes hanging on thier racks! Many were summer clothes however the temps have been in the 80's so I don't think thier wool skirts, sweaters, and fur coats will be big sellers for at least 2 mos There was a whole rack of shorts and summer sleeveless shirts there however the sales person said that they weren't accepting summer clothes. Not to mention my clothes were hardly worn and most of the clothes there appeared to be too worn and too expensive. There are two facets of this store, the buy and the sell (or exchange). This review is of the selling experience. Like most consignment stores, you never know what the buyer is going to choose. I was surprised she passed on a vintage denim Guess skirt but she picked up a no-brand office worker blouse. I was able to wait and browse while she went through my clothes. The hardest part was listening to them gossip and criticize other coworkers- as if there were no patrons in the store. Customer service was not a priority. If you are considering bringing in clothing, I recommend trying to sell them outright online via one of the countless apps. They will give you $7 for a pair of shoes that they will turn around and sell for $50. (15%) read more

I don't know. Sometimes I find cute things here, but most of the time this stuff is totally out of style. And I think they severely underprice things when you sell them. Revolve really excels in the vintage department and in the dresses, where the selection is vast. There are tons of clothes in here, but I feel like the selection has gone downhill recently. If you sell back your clothes here, don't expect to get anywhere close to what they are actually worth. You can get more bang for your buck if you sell for store credit, which is what I usually do when I'm giving them my clothes. read more

A while ago a girlfriend and I stopped by Revolve just to browse. The store seemed clean and well-organized and the staff was friendly and helpful. I was mainly looking at dresses and they had quite a large selection. I tried on seven dresses and bought four of them. (see photo and guess which 4 I bought) I thought the prices were very good. The most expensive dress I bought still had the original tags on it and was completed beaded all over. The tag said it was originally $119 and I got it for $40. All of the other dresses I bought were around $12. I felt pretty good leaving the store with four dresses under $80. read more

This review is more for the men's area, so your mileage may vary if you're looking for women's clothing. Most of the store seems to be women's clothing. The men's area is pretty tiny, and the styles are pretty dated and random. There's a lot of khaki shorts and v-neck tees (which were really popular in 2007, not so much in 2017...). The vintage section was like... one leather jacket and one Hawaiian button-up. A lot of the t-shirts have that sorta thrift store appeal, but without the thrift store prizes. Like, yeah, I'd pay 75 cents for an old faded Mickey Mouse t-shirt, but $10? Ehhh. I'll say the retail staff have always been really nice and greeted me whenever I come in, so yay for the employees. & I'll also say I've had better luck with the two Tampa locations, especially the Ybor one, which has some hipper/more unique looks for men. As for this location, if you're looking for men's styles, you'd have just as much luck going to a Salvation Army or Goodwill. read more

I want to start by saying customer service here is great. The women that work here are welcoming to everyone and do a great job keeping the store clean. With that in mind, I still rarely find anything I would want to purchase here. A lot of the clothing looks very worn and out of style. I personally do not buy used clothing that looks like it has been loved and washed many times, and unfortunately, that's what the bulk of clothing here looks like to me. Additionally, the prices here are often way too high for what the item is. Revolve carries a lot of name brands - I often see Anthropologie, an upscale chain store's clothing. While I love Anthro, the pieces they get look very dated and yet they are priced very high. Overall, not my favorite thrift store, but I'm not crossing them off on my list yet. I have attempted to shop at this store on multiple occasions over the past year that I have lived in St.Pete, hoping the selection and customer service would improve, but I don't foresee that happening and will not be returning to this location. Prices are unreasonably high for previously worn clothing, especially considering how little they offer customers attempting to consign clothing (I was offered $4 in exchange for three pieces of name brand clothing). Small size but packed with style. It's as if a convention of artists, indie-chicks, bohos, and cafe singers all forgot their luggages and Revolve kept the stuff. Although the store is small, there's lots of hidden treasures. As a wannabe-indie-style person, I've found really unique shirts in design, cut, and wear. Just glance at the helpful and sweet employees who always seem to be modeling the latest trends of the store. The appearance of the store is a chaotic artist's closet. Vintage artwork, books and decor line every flat surface (some even for sale). The jewelry echoes. Plus there's homage to many local events and businesses as displayed by posters and business cards. The prices are slightly higher than Plato's Closet. But for the unique treasures you get here I'd pay those extra few cents to be the envy of others. I was pleasantly surprised when I came to this store. I was vacationing in FL with a friend that lives there, and she brought me out thrifting. I have been to their location in Ybor in past trips, but this store seemed more laid back. The employees were friendly and upbeat and they seemed to have a nice selection of items and clothing available for sale. This is a good consignment shop. They carry "trendy" brands and styles of clothing and are definitely geared toward the teen population more than anything. I am 7 1/2 months pregnant and the 2 girls working there would not allow me to use the bathroom they said closest one is across the street. I understand it's for staff only but you couldn't make an exception for someone who is clearly very pregnant? The girls response was customers use the bathroom and break then they don't have anything to use so only staff can use it. Terrible I will never go back into that store again! I stopped in here on a whim on the way to donate about 20 items to a local charity. I figured I could use a few bucks for Christmas shopping; why not? There were a few shoppers and another client selling them some items so I gave the nice salesclerk my name and number and left. As promised, she called me back in 30 minutes and gave an offer on five items. They offer 15%, which I felt was low but I took it. They culled the best of what I had but that's the nature of the business. Overall, the place is moderately priced, well stocked for ladies although sparse for men.
