When I inquired about contractor pricing vs. retail, the interaction became incredibly uncomfortable. After being told I couldn't get a discount on a first order, I asked a simple follow-up about the process for setting up an account. He responded in a dismissive, condescending tone, eventually snapping, 'I'll just give you the contractor price' as if he were doing me a favor. I don't appreciate being treated with such rudeness. The tile that I needed was through a different company, but Chris and his team willingly went to Ellenton from Lakewood Ranch to bring it back the day before they started! I had gotten quotes from 3 other companies and Chris had the most reasonable offer and absolutely no hidden costs. I knew exactly how much the job would cost before we started and there were no additional fees by the end. Chris was very detailed when he came to do the estimate and made sure that the tile would be done right. He was extremely responsive throughout the entire process, usually within minutes of sending a text. Most other quotes were 1.5-2x his price and didn't feel like they took as much pride in their work. He estimated 3 days to do 450 sq ft of tile, but it ended up only taking 2 days! The guys worked hard from 10am-8:30pm the first day with no complaints. I ran out of grout the second day, but Chris was determined to complete my project ahead of schedule, so the team went back to Ellenton to get the grout (again) and returned to finish. My mom and I were able to get an extra full day to relax before she left thanks to their hard work! I highly recommend Chris and his team for tile floors! If I ever am in need of another renovation, I would not hesitate to contact him!
