But what I didn't expect was to find this amazing restaurant on the North Shore Community of Oneida Lake named Bub's Sweets & Treats. For those of you who haven't truly experienced sensational chicken wings, collards, and Mac n cheese this is a must! The owner is as sweet as her home made cookies and cakes and her collards melt in your mouth with hickory smoked bacon and not salty, with a hint of sweet. These are worth skipping the entree for trust me! Her Mac n cheese was so moist, cheesy and well let's say an indulgence I gladly forked! The star would be the fried chicken wings that has seasonings in the batter that hinted of smoky, savory and well let's say just incredible! Our second "Mookie" platter had ranch garlic parm wings that had the familiar taste but the delicious twist of ranch seasoning. Wings were meaty, cooked perfectly and well let's say kept sayin yum as we were eating. Small businesses go through a lot to bring their love and recipes to communities and I am glad she choose ours!
