I found it gets the zoomies out of them and that makes for a quiet night, most times. Sometimes you have a small group of littles and they somehow are fueled by the laughter of other kids and seem to possess unlimited energy. We camp closest to the beach. There is no shade there. We bring our own but at night, the stars are like street lights. It's beautiful. The moon at times feels like you could grab it. The ocean will put you to sleep like a Dr.s prescription. It's amazing. All the bathrooms get used a lot because of the amount of people who stay here but they are constantly being cleaned. The showers are a little strange to me but good. Don't try to park an extra vehicle on your spot even if only unloading. The parking is terrible BUT way down the road, on the "Day Use Area" is plenty of parking. Ya, we all hate parking in the D.U.A. They hold cultural events in the D.U.A. We've seen some awesome Native American dancers. They looked super cool. The beach access is at either end of the dune. The beach is clean and the waves aren't that vicious. The shore is nice and shallow. Low tide brings a whole different look to the area with smooth rock surfaces and cobblestones. Of course the ocean is always awesome.

The kitchen is fully stocked and was so easy to cook breakfast in the morning, and after we used the beach access near the park to head to the beach! The park roads are filled with rough potholes making driving difficult. It has been that way since joining in 2016. There have been numerous failed attempts to fill the potholes. They need to bite the bullet and bring in a large amount of road grade gavel to cover the park roads. Walking to and from RVs rabbit droppings around the sites stick to the bottom of shoes. Charged $5 a day for worthless internet. As in years past and the 4 times we have been at Neskowin Creek Park this year internet connection has been sporadic to nonexistent. A majority of time there has been no internet. The 16 years we have been members WIFI/internet has been useless. We are not downloading, watching movies. Just email, news apps. When we first joined, it was relatively easy to reserve a sight on short notice. It appears Membership has been oversold while continuing to be sold to the point it has been more difficult to obtain a reservation less than 90 days ahead. To add to the problem, they are renting sites long term to non-members. The last two years we have observed a better pull through site in the park has permanently been occupied by the same 5th wheel. When we signed up, we were informed it wouldn't be problem to sell our membership. It is very difficult to get out of the contract. We know of a number of people who have walked away unable to recoup the contract amount paid. Buyer beware.

The trees do not accommodate beyond 9', be prepared to climb on the roof of your rig to cut their trees to prevent your rig over 9' from being opened like a can opener. Restaurants in the area, prepare for food poisoning and complete lack of even wiping off a table. This town hates tourist. Absolutely no follow through on Rv park rules. If you are tent camping go for it. No internet. Pool is filthy. Fees to use the "putting green". My rig sustained 4k in damage due to their neglect of the site. Power surges to the point of no power. likely due to permitting EV autos from charging though the sign says prohibited. Employees and long stay are the exception. Random sites assigned. Personal and. maintenance could care less if you cannot drive through the park without a tree climbing breaking and falling on your rig. I will give them a positive with each concern they do reply with , " oh we did not know and will pass the information on." NEVER STAY HERE IF You PREFER No damage to your Rv due to park neglect!!!

Our family has been coming every June to Cape Kiwanda RV Resort since 2010. We usually get two one…read moreroom cabins and stay for 2-4 nights. Things have changed recently and we most likely will not be coming back. The small cabins used to be 95-120.00 a night and this year increased to 220-280 a night. Just for reference a 3/4 star hotel in the same area runs between 200-350 a night. We decided to get a tent space instead as we love the tradition of coming and love the area. PROS: Dog Friendly Fairly clean overall 2 min walk to the beach Playground Indoor pool Cabins have heat and privacy fencing Maintenance people are very helpful Parking is manageable even on a busy weekend CONS: Price, there are cheaper places a little less close to the beach Tent spaces are so close together and so so small. Our tents were physically touching both our neighbors. WIFI is nonexistent Bathrooms desperately need to be updated They have a fairly large conference room that you used to be able to reserve for free (helpful when it's raining) and now it's 100.00 a day. It sits empty, I've never seen anyone use it. Our 4 day/3 night trip was a mix of sun and rain, our camp site got muddy very quickly. And because the tent sites are so small (they stopped letting you tent near the trees) it felt very crowded even with our small group. We still had fun, we like to thrift in Tillamook and climb the dune. On the rainy parts of the day the indoor pool is a lifesaver if you have kids. Each tent site has water and an outlet for power, ours went out the second night but maintenance fixed it by our last night. We filled our down time with s'mores and board games. Wood is now 10.00 a bundle, we suggest buying it in Tillamook for 5.00. Dory's Pizza is take out only, their website doesn't work but they have a QR code on the door for ordering. We had a meh kind of time, we are glad we didn't spring for the cabins. Bunnies are still there multiplying and they look to be adding in a miniature golf course. The pictures are of my now 22 year old this year and him in one of our earliest trips staying in their cabins.
