Where do I start? My brother booked this resort months in advance, and when we arrived, I thought the large cabin was nice and the upkeep was okay; but after staying for a few minutes, you can see the mouse traps everywhere. We have several young ones staying with us, and one of the young ones opened the pantry, and was going to pick up a mouse trap; but luckily my sister-in-law was watching her. The pool is open year round; but be prepared to shiver, because the pool isn't heated. Small fire pit outside the cabin. It's okay, and unfortunately, I think we're going to book it again next year. We were sold the upgrade package for our existing membership at the time. The upgrade gave us home privileges at all 3 existing Sound Pacific Resorts in Washington and Oregon and we were led to believe that Sound Pacific was looking to purchase more resorts which would give us more home resorts as part of the upgrade package we purchased. As it turns out, instead of adding resorts, Sound Pacific has actually sold the resort in Washington, leaving us now with 2 home resorts instead of 3 and it's now clear that Sound Pacific has no intent to purchase and expand their resort network. Cascade Pacific sales people use sleazy sale tactics by making statements that they know aren't true to increase sales. We strongly encourage others to not even consider talking to Sound Pacific about buying a membership ! read more

We bought our membership about a year a go and we love it. The resort is beautiful. It is not a spot with isolated places to camp but we have found that isn't the norm for trailer camping. We do love the beauty of the site and that we can get to many places on the beach and nearby beach towns easily. We are very glad we got our membership. We have found the restrooms and showers to be clean. They are about to upgrade the pool area and that would have been my only suggestion. I love the bunnies! read more

My husband at I are recently retired at age 59 and decided to look into a camping club and joined Sound Pacific Resorts. Admittedly, the gentleman that sold us the system and the manager were delightful. I decided to go visit what we chose as our "Home Park" which is Neskowin RV park in Oregon. From the moment we drove thru the gates I had a bad vibe. Sites are not private. The staff were less than friendly and most campers looked to be 65 and older which is fine, but we want a younger crowd. The pool looked greenish. There were kids on the playground cussing away. On a positive note, there are bunnies everywhere which are adorable, However posted is a sign they could eat you car wiring. Thank goodness we are within the 6 day window to cancel. read more

3 days and 2 nights free sound great right? NOT! Get ready to stay in a FEMA trailer. A hot water tank so small you cannot even take one shower without freezing yourself. Enjoy the incredible views out of windows that are so fogged up, you cannot. The people who own this business are doing illegal things like selling food that is making people sick, selling internet that doesn't work, allowing staff and volunteers to intimidate and harass members. So maybe your first stay might seem okay but try staying after you buy your membership... The truth comes out once they scam you into how great their businesses are. This is the best RV park around. The staff take care of you and make you feel like family. The RV spots are large and most are pull thru. Both 50 and 30 amp service with water and sewer. They also have cable for a small fee. There is a large club house with activities almost every night and a indoor pool and hot tub. There is also a sauna and laundry area. Outside game are basketball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, volleyball and tennis. We love this park and consider it home. read more

We have enjoyed staying at Neskowin Creek RV Resort for several years. This year the park has improved it's pool area along with it's weight room by adding a sauna. The outdoor area has added 4 gas fire pits which makes it enjoyable rain or shine. But most enjoyable are the Bunnies, fun to watch them scurry around. It is very close less than 1 mile to walk to the ocean. If you like coast weather this is the place. read more

We bought our fist travel trailer in January of this year. We decided that we wanted to join a camping club once we got a referral from Curtis trailers from which we bought our trailer. We met with 2 sales folks down in Wilsonville, OR to hear what they had to say. One of them was very nice but the manager made promises to us that he has been unable to keep. Our experience has been very frustrating for my wife and I. And the more we read through other people's experience it really scares us that we were lied to and we were mislead in an effort to take $3495 of our money of a service that was not promised to us. We were able to visit the Neskowin Sound RV Park two times this last season. Our first time was on Memorial Day and the other was on Labor day. On our Labor Day trip, a site next to us we were kept up one of the evenings due to ambulances flashing lights. We went over to see what was going on and it turned out that a woman was doing Meth and Heroin. She overdosed. At the time, we thought it was an isolated incidence but not all of our experiences have been positive. So maybe this is not an exception. Here are some of the things that my wife and I experienced that you and I talked about today: When we first made the purchase, the manager miss led us on a few things. He said that we wouldn't have any problem getting into a site unless we waited until the day before on a large holiday weekend. He used 4th of July as his example. He said that it would be a rare case like the 4th of July where you would have to dry camp. Recently, my wife read complaints on the Better Business Bureau in that they have had the same experiences that we have had. Two times in July, we tried to reserve and there were not open spots and we would have to dry camp. The manager was not honest with us. We paid a lot of money for a service in that we could not use. If we were told it was difficult to find a spot, we would have never signed up for a spot. Why would we spend $3495 to use a service that we can't use? if you like your money, do not join this club. Looking back, the manager was definitely a sleezy car salesman. He sold us on how you can't get a spot at a State Park and with us, no problem. My wife and I would have never spent that kind of money to dry camp. My wife and I talked and we feel that we have been lied to and scammed out of a lot of money. As we read more into the reports and reviews, it seems we have experience the same deception as other folks have. When we called into cancel, we were told that they have been short capacity for 2 years. No refund offered for services that haven't been provided. Well that would have been good to know at the Point of Sale. We heard "No problem" about getting in. Now we are on the hook for the full amount of the initiation for a service that can't be provided. My wife and I were married last month and before we knew what we know now about Sound Pacific Resorts, we talked about using the cabin for our wedding reception. Quite a few months back, we called and we were told to call back 30 days out. We called back exactly 30 days out and we denied access due to no availability. Of course, we didn't have the right membership to call 60 days out. We would feel awful if another person had their money stolen like we feel we had ours. read more

This is a great place to camp. We have a very quite and peaceful campground theres a creek you can sit by and relax. We are like a big family. There are plenty of fun things to do. Saturday breakfast and pot luck for dinner then there are the games that are play in the evenings Wednesday through Saturday a great way to meet people and make friends for a life time. The kids have plenty of things to do. Basketball court,tennis court, I door swimming pool and hot tub,shuffle board as well as movies you can rent. The beach is only 1/2 a mike away a easy walk. During the summer Neskowin has a Saturday market with a lot of things to choose from. The club house has a tv so you can watch a movie with you kids. Come join the fun. See you soon read more

This place is a quiet and quaint well placed RV Resort. One mile away is beach access two miles away is LOTS of Oregon wilderness AWESOME for hiking, hunting, or peace and quite. There is lots of places that are within a 5-30 min drive, such as tillamook cheese factory, pacific city where you can drive on the beach. In Lincoln city the casino is a favorite and the always popular summer and fall kite festival, and the very popular finders keepers. From October to late May they put...(hide) out glass floats or globes for everyone to find, its like a huge 7.5 mile long Easter egg hunt. That's one thing that makes this place a good spot to make your coastal base camp, not to mention the feel of security with gated entrance that leads to a bridge you cross to get to clubhouse and camp sites,and the park it self is well managed and maintained with friendly and helpful staff with fun for you and whole family. On the days you don't go exploring they have activities everyday of the week from family game night, movie night, bingo, poker, even horse racing. Every Saturday morning they serve breakfast...donations are welcome and a potluck on Saturday night for whole park. There is a real family feel its one of those places you go to and can't help but get caught up in the wonderful atmosphere, every time weather you are showing up just walking around park or leaving the people are quick to wave and say hi and wish you a good day or a safe trip. It is always a pleasure to stay because of all they have to offer in and out of the park.
