I repeatedly told her I dont know if I need root canal or not and I just wanted to come in for the evaluation and xray. It was like (pardon the pun but appropriate) to get her to give me information just about appointment for evaluatiion and xrays. My impression was this practice form the get go was set to get a prospective patient to agree to root canal before the appointment She did finally say well you coukd come in for just the evaluation and xrays butusually we do a root canal. I I had also asked for cost of an implant After checking with other practices I found this one was almost double most of the other practices I contacted. I did not make an appt with them and based on this interaction and the cost I would not recommend this practice. As far as are they good or not, this I don;t know but no dental practice, in my opinion should be saying what treatment they intended to do before they have even seen a patient

I was once asked to refill forms I filled out when they sent them to me two days in advance of my appointment, because they needed me to fill them out with less than 24 hours. I also do not understand why your blood pressure needs to be checked by your hygienist every time, even if you say you would not like it. I rarely see an actual dentist (just the hygienist), and have not seen the owner of the practice for at least six years even in the office. Their customer prompt system Has lots of glitches and keeps aggressively prompting for an appointment even when you've had one scheduled. And I was yelled at for having my insurance change without notifying them in advance after being a patient for over a decade. And then they were relieved because it was "good" insurance. This also points to some sort of economic discrimination if I would not have had good insurance.

I have always had a great experience with their staff, their facility is beautiful and clean, but they blew me away even more with their attention to detail during this time. I received a text that when I arrive to stay in my car and text them that I am there, they then sent me a text asking me a couple questions about symptoms and contact with others and then told me they would text me when I should come to the door. During which they sent a link for a very cute video ! When it was time, I met them at the door and they took my temperature and then I was brought in to a private room for my check up. I loved my old Dentist and hygienist, two people I've gone to twice a year for close to twenty years. I started researching Dentists that accepted my new insurance and found Dr. Fournier's office. Then, while flossing (proof I floss), I ripped out an old filling. I called this office to set up an appointment and they told me November was for hygiene checks, about five months from now. A great sign that they are busy, but I explained I had an issue. They told me they could see me sooner for that, so we set an appointment for Monday. The staff were friendly, but after meeting Dr. Fournier, I knew I had my next dentist. Her personality was amazing, bedside manner was perfect. They had to drill and fill my tooth today, no lie, I think I was out of there in fifteen minutes... She kind of joked about how I am with Dentists, am I nervous, am I okay with needles, all sorts of questions, because we don't know each other. When I was injected, she told me to breathe out and breathe in. Did that work? When I had that tooth drilled before, I teared up. Not from pain, but because that spot was connected somehow to my left eye's tear duct... Did the breathing work? Maybe? After my appointment, they told me there were some cancellations the week of the Fourth of July, so no more November check. I'll be back this month. The only two things that make me nervous are having to make a left out of that parking lot. I could make a right and find my way home, but I feel it could not be good at rush hour. No issues today. The second thing is that I have an internal dread that Dr. Fournier is going to retire someday while I still need dental work... I don't want to find someone new. I also befriended everyone in my HR department to ensure they won't switch insurance on me again...

This was surprisingly comfortable and I wasn't left with the painful sensitivity I had experienced in the past. I first came here in February 2018 when I had the flu (as I had found out by the end of this…read morevisit). It's 5 minutes from my house, so the location (for me at least) is very convenient. The wait time in the waiting room and waiting for the doctor was a bit long, but the doctor I had was very friendly and informative. She also supplied me with a doctor's note for school and work! Not a bad location, it's good for what it is, urgent care.
