In that…read moretime she's helped me improve my coping skills, find a medication regime that works for me, and helped me more fully understand the complexities of my disorders: PTSD, depression, and generalized anxiety disorder. Never have I had a doctor that matches Dr. Partida: professional and courteous front office staff, fast access to care (both at appointments and via phone call follow-ups and prescription refills), bilingual, culturally competent, and kind. Every now and again I stop and reflect on how much better my life has gotten since I started seeing Dr. Partida. Across the board, she's an extraordinary practitioner in psychoanalysis and medication management.

He will fully admit that he still does not have a diagnosis for me after 2 years, and has tried me on several different medications, alternately labeling me "bi-polar," which I am not, and an "alcoholic", which I also am not and which is what led my husband to disliking him so much (I used to drink 2 drinks a week and now I don't even drink at all). Half of what he says I have no idea where he is going with it and it confuses me, and I think for me, he has only been about 15% helpful, and that has mostly been in writing prescriptions to help my anxiety that I had already known about and was taking before I even began to see him. To be honest, if it weren't for his WONDERFUL office staff that is so pleasant and caring and efficient, I probably would never go back. I know he is a well respected doctor in town, but he has never been suited very well to me. I think he just doesn't understand me, or maybe just young women. He seems to be very sought after and his staff can usually fit me in for emergencies, and that combined with me not knowing where else to turn, has had me going back for two years now.

This was because her receptionist was unbelievably rude. I couldn't find my insurance card over the phone, and she proceeded to take a tone that came off as needlessly annoyed. It felt like I was wasting *her* time when I tried to book an appointment, and genuinely made me feel anxious. Upon finding out that my insurance wasn't accepted, she began to lecture me on what was taken - notwithstanding that I really didn't care, because I could just pay out of pocket trivially. Perhaps she was having a bad day, maybe she was swamped, maybe she has a lot going on. But her stressors do not belong in that environment. I'm giving the doctor herself the benefit of the doubt since I didn't meet with her, but this is not the first review critiquing terrible staff, and it says a lot that nothing has been done about it.

She is not very good and wants you to continue to go to her forever. She is arrogant, condescending, manipulative and not helpful. Read the other negative report and that is the Real Dr. Gallentine.
