I've been a medical patient for about five years now and was also a manager of a medical cannabis dispensary and have never been treated like how I was just now when leaving this location. Store hours posted online say this location closes at 7pm. I made it at ten minutes til and I had the manager Kimberly at the door telling me they were closed. I informed her it says online the store closes at 7 and she said yeah but we stop helping people at 6:50. I told her I just needed a cartridge and already knew wheat I wanted. She asked if I was paying cash or card and I told her card. Once I was being helped with my order inside I asked Kimberly if all Sandia Botanicals dispensaries stopped seeing patients/customers ten minutes before the posted close time and she said yes. If a patient needs their medicine and it's still within store hours you don't treat them like they are an inconvenience to you. The entire transaction was far from empathetic and even further from professional and compassionate care that the medical cannabis industry should all be adhering to. Very very sad. This store won't remain open very long under management like Kimberly's if she keeps up this attitude. Highly disappointed. If I didn't need my medicine as bad as I do then I wouldn't have even given this store my money. Upper management take notice and take care of your patients. read more

They behave like popular high school kid rejects hanging out rather than being customer service reps or medical professionals. They sigh, roll their eyes, and make faces etc. at SIMPLE questions. My husband loves this place . Security makes him feel like he is the man even on days I know my husband has went through a rough one. I would like to tell the black security door man im so sorry dont remember seeeing his name but he wears those nice looking shinny shoes at the door. I really like this dispensary. It's kind of out of the way, and farther away from me, but they have some really good quality strains, a lot of them you don't find any place else in town. The big pain about buying from Sandia Botanicals though, is that if you don't have cash you get hit for like a $3.25 up charge to use a card. this means that any great deal you might be getting from them is pretty much wiped out by the extra cost. I think Sandia needs work on this with their financial institution to eliminate these sneaky up charges. I've been to several dispensaries that don't have this kind of extra charges on their sales. These are the dispensaries I tend to patronize on a more regular basis, because they seem to care more about keeping their patients' costs down. read more

Sandia is over all pretty quality but because of a few things make it a bad visit. The charge for their debit is atrocious. The system they use is so bad I would rather the system did not exist. Customer service here is poor to say the least. The only redeeming factor here is the quality of the medicine. Sadly I'm going to take a break from going to sandia. I hope things change by the time I return. Today sandia sent out a text message with their happy hour deal. It was so spectacular that I immediately called them. They did not answer. I wait for a bit and call again. No answer. I decided to drive down and at a some point called again while on my journey but still no response. I get there and make my order and the bud tender informs me that the text was a mistake (about 30 seconds after he said it was a mistake, a second correction text comes). He said could not do anything to help me. I ended up leaving with nothing but a frown. I called several times, I made it into the store within 10 minuets of the text being sent, and I was still let down after it all. I understand typos and mistakes happen but when there is no correction until the second you make your order and they will not honor the deal, it's a little sad. Rarely do I ever leave a dispensary without a smile, but the last few visits to sandia have left a sour taste in my mouth. read more

I bought a cartridge that was malfunctioning. Instead of replacing what they sold me, they gave me the run around about a fallout with the manufacture. Sandia Botanicals has really great products and very nice staff. I've started coming here more often than I used to, because the tinctures they sell are awesome ! Definitely check out their high CBD Dragon tincture. The dispensary is a little tricky to get to, they're tucked away in sort of an industrial park so it's easy to turn into the wrong driveway and get lost in no-mans land, but their signage has improved recently. They have a secure entrance that you have to be buzzed in through, but given the crime rates in our dear city, it seems responsible for them to keep their employees as safe as possible. The budtenders all seem very sweet and talkative. They also have a lot of personal recommendations, which is always helpful when trying to find the best product. They take credit cards, which always makes shopping less stressful. Make sure you sign up for their email list to receive their weekly specials. read more

(Dumd a$$!!) Anyway I spent, if I bought all Mother Earth strains. Which of course I didn't. I would have spent buying one gram each time $258.90 plus tax!?!?! Just to get a $15 prize i thought would be different than what any normal customer could just come in and buy the same thing for $15 plus tax? Pissed me off quite a bit to say the least... I could have got a few pre-rolls, or other things if I knew almost $300 worth of product, on the LOW end barely got me a $15 prize? Buds here are top notch!!! I love the tinctures here, I usually go with the 150/150 or the 300 thc. Mendo Purple Urkle here was perfect in cure and trim. White Romulan was also amazing even though it stated seeded, I only pulled 4 seeds out of 14 grams. The Cannatonic here was some of the best I have personally ever had, closest to it would be Nordie from R.greenleaf. The topicals were also amazing, even the chapstick. I would love to have them open up in Santa Fe to save me the drive, but it is well worth the travel. Budtenders are all very friendly and inviting, I even stood there an extra 15 minutes talking after my purchase(no other customers at the moment).
