There is a reason almost all the reviews are 5 star reviews. I didn't bother to read the one 4…read morestar, I'll just guess that person doesn't get how 5 stars work lol. Anyway, I can't say enough nice things about this place. Adam, the owner, is super easy to work with. I had done my research, and the leg work myself before even reaching out to them. I had gone in and tried various mattresses in Mattress firm so I could get a feel for them before heading his way. I suggest everyone do this as his place saves you money partially because he doesn't have a giant showroom floor with 100 different beds set up to spend money on. So, go check out the ones you think you're interested in at the big box stores. Then, give him a call with the ones you've narrowed down. once you've picked the best deal, swing by his place, he'll get the mattress for you if you want to try it one more time and then bing bang boom you make the deal and save a ton. I had an issue, but, it wasn't their issue. I tried a comparable tempur pedic mattress in the store, but, the one he had that was close to what I wanted was a version made by tempur pedic for costco. So, I didn't get to try that one out. So, when I got there to his place, he got it ready for me, I did a quick lay down test and we did the paperwork. problem was, because it's hot out and hot in the area where the mattresses are, the foam reacts differently. So, I sank into the bed like I wanted. Problem came later that day (yes, we were able to get same day delivery) we got everything set up. His delivery guys were very nice, quick and clean. They got it setup and later that night we went to sleep on it. It was not as soft as it was in the warehouse. The foam softens in a warm environment, but the house is not that environment lol. I gave it a night, then I gave it a second night. Both nights I woke up in the middle of the nigh with that feeling of, ugh, I think I made a mistake and I can't be stuck on a bed that's not comfortable for me. So, I called Adam and explained my situation. I asked what, if anything, we could do about it. He mentioned how at the stores a bunch of people have tested out those beds that have likely been on the display floor a while, so they don't always have the same feel. So he gave me an option for another model of Tempurpedic. The price difference was fair considering I have to have a crew come back down to deliver another mattress and remove the current mattress. So, to boil it down to the part that might interest you the most, the prices. I priced out the Tempurpedic Luxe Adapt king size mattress and the adjustable base. Most places will charge between $7,698 to maybe $8,198 Mattress Joint came in at $2,950 (and that's with both deliveries (the original and the swap out one) plus it covered removing the old bed and box spring. I will haggle in most of the places I go to, because that's the new yorker in me. However, I will say this... Don't bother haggling. He's going to give you a great deal, it's not worth nickel and diming to save $20 or $50 you're already saving a ton, don't be that person. also, keeping in mind that he and his wife are a mom and pop place, consider paying cash. It saves the businesses on having to pay credit card processing fees (even if the card is linked to your bank account) They're saving you a bunch already return the favor and let them save by not paying processing fees.

The owner Adam already had provided me with very helpful information, such that I was almost certain I knew what I wanted before I arrived. I was greeted by Adam's lovely wife who said Adam would be with me momentarily. Adam and his team then arranged for me to try the several mattresses in which I was interested, before I decided on the Purple Restore Premium. The experience from start to finish was superb -- and I truly felt like a valued customer throughout. This was followed by prompt and perfect delivery the next day -- we couldn't be happier. I'll take the superior expertise and service, coupled with pricing that can't be beat, over the large chains and their fancy showrooms. Not to mention how nice it is to experience the old-fashioned family owned business where the customer comes first. Mattress Joint is now our one-stop destination when we need a new mattress.

It is one of the largest national chains and a business that I have dealt with both in RI as well as in FL. I went in to get some prices on a bed for our spare bedroom, they do have a good website where you can narrow down and filter your choices, so when you get to the store, you have a feel of what you want. I love their value zone, where you can get a good mattress for a discount compared to the ones you see first as you walk in. I did my research and I got my prices on an Excel!, so good homework. This chain has really grown through the years by acquisition of many other competitors, for example.... In 2007, Mattress Firm acquired Mattress Pro, which operated locations in the Southern United States (Texas & Nevada). They also acquired The Sleep Train company, operated primarily in California, as well as Sleep Country USA (a Pacific Northwest bedding retailer) On August 29, 2016, it was announced that Mattress Firm would acquire all of the remaining Mattress Barn locations. In 2015, Mattress Firm announced its plans to buy out its competitor Sleepy's for $780 million. With this purchase, Mattress Firm would come to have over 3,500 stores. Mattress Firm continues to use the Sleepy's name for their own brand of mattresses.

Worst place to buy a mattress from, in my case to TRY to buy from…read more On Black Friday I visited many stores looking for the best deal and mattress for myself. I came to this store and worked with Vlova which was very friendly and I left with a quote. Mattress on sale would be $1799, plus $99 delivery and also a $200 credit for accessories since I was not gonna take the adjustable base they were offering for free with the mattress purchase. According to her I had until Dec 7 to make a decision. So the day after (Nov 27) my final choice was to purchase from this store but I called first and asked if they would wave the delivery fee ($99) which they agreed to do it. Within an hour after the call, as I promised I visited the store to make a payment and Vlova was not available, so I spoke with the manager. He gave me the total and right before I made the payment I asked him to confirm the $200 credit and he said that did not exist, that in fact they were not even offering the free adjustable base for my $1799 mattress. So I explained to him what was the agreement made with Vlova m, as you can see on the picture attached and he said that did not exist. So he called Vlova at the other store and at first she did not "fully remember" what was the deal but I reminded her and she said I was right but after the manager denied that was part of the offer, she then said he was right and she apologized since she was a new employee and wasn't sure about the deals and sales. So I told the manager that was not really my fault and that was given to me as part of the deal on the quote. I asked what could be done and he said nothing. He could care less, so I asked who was above him so I could discuss the issue and he said that person would not be able to help me either because of whatever the million excuses he had. So I just got up and left the store. Now there are no more deals since black friday is over and Im out of a mattress. So be VERY careful with any quotes or promises they make since its all false advertising.
