I purchased a full sized set (mattress and box spring) for a 13-year-old. I was in the process of moving and had the new mattress sent to my new apartment to be set up so that I wasn't moving it myself. They out sourced the delivery guy - and he put the bed together and I made a comment that the mattress was larger than the box spring and he said the mattress would "fluff up" and this was "normal." I should've refused the delivery right there! It is a very comfy memory foam mattress but there was at least an inch extra on every side of the box spring. A full-size mattress should fit on a full sized box spring. The only thing in that room was a bed and the tv. We never moved it from the place the guy put it. Barely 24 hours after we got the bed there, and after only 1 night of sleeping on it, there was a loud crack and the box spring broke. The company was closed on Sunday so I called them Monday morning. I called and spoke with Irina, who told me I couldn't have a refund, all sales were final. She also said I should've done my "due diligence" to know that the mattress/box spring didn't match because they didn't buy the box spring from the manufacturer, they used a generic full sized box spring. She said it wasn't her job to tell me that. My receipt said "set" not generic box spring that won't fit the mattress... The said that in order for me to get a replacement box spring (which they promised they would have delivered first thing Tuesday Morning, I would have to pay for 1/2 of the delivery cost, or I could come pick up the box spring myself, or I could go through the manufacturer. They were being nice and handling the exchange so I didn't have to talk to the manufacturer. . When I said the box spring didn't fit the mattress, it was sold as a set, they wanted me to measure the box spring and the mattress. They should know the dimensions of the mattress/box spring they sold. So after several calls back and forth, a guy from the place called me to tell me their manufacturer sent the wrong box spring. I told him right then and there that I had found the website for the BBB and was I was reporting them. I was tired of the runaround. I did get a call back from them - and eventually, after hours and hours of aggravation, they refunded the money for the box spring and the frame. They were willing now to eat the entire cost of delivery They also gave me the option of a refund on the box spring and the frame. I chose the refund. I asked when their delivery person would be coming to pick the two items up and was advised that "it wasn't worth the money for them to pick up those items and I could just dispose of them." In her reply to my BBB complaint Irina made it sound like they were helpful on the phone but it wasn't until I said I was putting in a complaint did they say that they would refund my money. I updated my dispute since they did refund a small portion of my money but I wouldn't buy from them again. I wound up ordering a frame from amazon with great ratings and haven't had an issue. I'm pretty sure that she won't be happy with this review. The fact that they did finally return some of my money is the reason she got 2 1/2 not 1 star - but the service wasn't even worth a 3. That and the fact that she blamed me in her response to the BBB for "breaking it myself" when she never even sent anyone out to look at the box spring to see why it broke. I will say that the pillows we got there were fantastic - and if the service was better, I would've gone back to buy more... but I won't shop there again, and I won't recommend this place to others.

On delivery day, Cubed Futon was assembled in the guest bedroom and looks great. I even found some Rectangle Non Slip Furniture Pads that fit the legs perfectly, they work great. The unit is easy to open and close by myself.

Much more! The quality and selection of furniture is awesome but what really made the most impact on me was meeting Orlando, who made me feel so very pampered and as if he was my own personal decorator which I have never had before. He has a very kind and warm and steady temperament and cares beyond what feels as if it's a job. he responded to me when he wasn't working, he helped me quiet my anxiety when I thought my chandelier might be too large for the space, ( it wasn't) and throughout the whole process made me feel like we were in this together. I thought Orlando was trying to feel my style and not just what works in the space. He was respectful of my budget and truly only wanted to see me happy and satisfied. Extremely disappointing experience with Modani Fort Lauderdale…read more We purchased a dining room table in May after visiting the showroom. The salesperson specifically told us that purchasing in-store rather than online would give us the best chance of receiving the table sooner. Based on that representation, we placed our order and were given an expected delivery date of mid-July. Mid-July came and went without a single update from Modani. No phone call, no email, and no proactive communication acknowledging that the order had been delayed. We only learned there was an issue because we reached out ourselves to check on the status. At that point, we were told the table was delayed and that we shouldn't expect another update until mid-August at the earliest--at least a month later than originally promised. Had we not called, it's unclear if anyone would have contacted us at all. After expressing our frustration, the only resolution offered was a $150 store credit, which does little to make up for months of waiting, poor communication, and missed expectations. Even now, there is still no shipping update or honest estimate of when we will actually receive the table. Delays happen, and most customers understand that. What is unacceptable is the complete lack of communication and transparency. If you're making a significant furniture purchase, be prepared to chase down updates yourself and receive very little accountability if things don't go as promised.
