One winter they left the Polaris in the pool. They opened the pool, did not check the seals on equipment for leaks and I had a huge flood. This happened twice! Emergency Call to them about it - they NEVER returned my call. My landscaper fixed it first time. The following time I had to call a plumber, on an emergency basis to fix it $$. Needed a light bulb replaced. NEVER responded called Leslie's pool to replace the lights. Asked him for recommendations for masonry to repair the coping slates around the pool, which are very loose. the office told me they would fix it, still waiting for 3 years. If he calls which is very rare it says "No Caller ID". We first met in January 2021 and after asking for references many times over months finally gave Matt he go ahead in July 2021. He lead us to believe it would be a few months before he would start since he was busy. After a few months i said winter is coming and he said not to worry he had big heated construction tents and worked all winter . Every few months I would check in and he never gave a us a start date. After almost a year and half of misleading comments he began. He got half way done and disappeared leaving us a 43" wide and 30" deep trench running 100 yards across our entire property and through the driveway for over a week now with no end in sight. the job site is never cleaned up and has been like the picture below for months. He sent a contract that included an auto cover that we didn't ask for. When I asked for an updated contract he added a 19th clause for escalation that he didn't point out nor did I catch. Then before digging he told me it was 25% more in cost. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Zero accountability, impossible to reach, and no regard for customers after they get paid. We had to replace a vinyl liner less than 3 years after install due to water table issues. Guys who opened the pool didn't properly connect the pump so rain shorted it out, When liner bulged and wrinkled, we were told it was normal, or the fault of the liner, or the cover. This year we got 2 other opinions and discovered we were right all along and had to pay 1/3 of the original cost all over again to get it fixed by a more experienced contractor. Perhaps Ocean North does excellent gunite work. We just preferred vinyl. i think we were his first. Mistakes happen. But don't run from them or ignore patient customers.
