We learned that the equipment was not the latest model or the brand we wanted and it was marked up by almost 50%, so we said we would supply the equipment and pay for Rick Pinto Pools to install it. They agreed. When we received the equipment Lenny informed us that the installation date was delayed, then that the equipment was not covered by warranty if we didn't purchase from them, then finally that they did not want to do the project. Lots of run around when they could have informed us in the beginning that they simply refused to do the work- disappointing.

I suggested to do a search on Yelp and he landed on Deluxe Pool Services. I held my breath... and they came through. The services he gets include opening/closing and weekly cleanings. Dad is especially impressed because whenever there are issues with his pool, their customer service is so top tier, they are on it immediately to resolve the problem. Their location is in CT but you can see from the reviews that they work with pools all over LI (and apparently as far as Albany, according to my father). Their maintenance people are fast, friendly and thorough (I've been at the house a couple times when they serviced the pool). Reasonably priced, too. Important to note that my father is someone who doesn't tolerate inconsistent timeliness (this probably goes for 9/10 dads, no?) and they are always on time or they call. You really can't ask for anything more when it comes to pool services.

Last year, the liner ripped, and I initially thought it was my fault. This year, I had another pool professional come inspect it, and they immediately pointed out that the original installation was done very poorly. They found that there were tree roots underneath the pool that had continued to grow, causing the ground to become uneven and the pool to lose its level. I was also told that the area should never have been used in the first place because of the roots. I trusted his judgment when he assured me the spot was properly leveled, but it turns out that wasn't the case. While the pool may have looked fine initially, the poor placement and installation ended up costing me a damaged liner and additional repair expenses just a year later. I would not recommend this service based on my experience. If I could give a 0 star;I would.

I had a four year old Polaris P40 pool cleaner that would only clean the deep end of my pool. Within 5 minutes of walking into the store Matt the manager had the cleaner apart and knew exactly what was wrong with it. He ordered the part and within days my cleaner was back in my pool working. I also had my water tested there and purchased some supplies. His entire team was very knowledgeable and extremely courteous . They didn't try to sell me things that I didn't need. I highly recommend the Leslie store in Norwalk.

When Robert went on his own I immediately signed up for opening, closing and weekly service. Bottom line is I trust Robert. Our pool and spa look great all the time. He's extremely responsive whenever I contact him and most important in the pool business, he's honest. He recommendations wasn't exactly inline with my ideas but base on what I had previously read about the company before actually meeting him along with his knowledge and experience in the pool industry I trusted his views. The project was planned for March 2023. Fast forward to now the team came in and did exactly what we discussed there were some minor chances which was done with further advice when I met Derick " very nice guys he is a customer pleaser he ensure that you are 100% happy or the job is not done". I have been in the construction industry for 15 years and I have worked with pool companies on several different occasions and believe me this is the first I'm meeting and working with a company where everyone affiliated with the company from the owners down to all the workers are honest, hardworking, polite and very professional. I'm pleased to have met and work with them, I will continue to work with them going forward and I will recommend them to all my family, friends, acquaintances and business associates. These guys don't get 100% in my book they get 110% for going the extra mile in costumer's satisfaction, their prices are very reasonable and economical base on market value with you also getting value for every dollar.
