We saw a MAJOR improvement within a few days of our first session with Nate. A few weeks later, he returned for a 2nd session. We discussed what still needed improvement, he gave more specific suggestions, and I mean it when I tell you THEY WORKED! Our girl is now fine with people coming to our house, strangers approaching her to say hi, and she just seems so much happier overall! It has been over a year since our final session, and I will note it is important to stick to what Nate teaches you. We notice she regresses a bit if we are inconsistent (she's a routine-driven dog, so it makes perfect sense), but she catches back on when we realize what we stopped doing. Before we even brought our pup home, Amy came out to assess the litter and helped us choose the dog that best fit our family. One of our goals was for our 11-year-old to take the lead in training, and Amy completely supported that, which meant the world to us. When an unexpected death in our family forced us to move up our training schedule, Amy and Tim were incredibly kind and accommodating. Our dog ended up working with Bridget, and honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better trainer. She was patient, calm, and so good at balancing all three of us -- especially with a child who didn't always understand the process. They worked together perfectly to help keep us on course with all our training and follow-up information. After we decided to enroll our puppy in training, the training staff (Kobie, Ashley, Sophie and Geraldine) were fantastic!! They worked closely with us to slowly train Raider. He was introduced to other dogs, learned to heel perfectly on a leash, obey commands, come on command, and sit patiently every time we stop walking. These trainers are truly exceptional! Thankfully they were able to accommodate. At drop off I was told that I would be sent pictures and updates, and that I could text or call them if needed. I never got any updates, nor a response to my message to them. Upon pickup, I was told that my dog did well and that I would get a report card and pictures of her stay. I didn't receive either. The apparent lack organization/reliability doesn't make me feel comfortable trusting my dog in their care. To top it off, my dog has had terrible diarrhea since staying there. Really wanted to like this place so pretty disappointed :/ Update: She still has diarrhea and have now seen reviews from others who's dogs have contracted Giardia here. Let's hope that's not the case

There's only one review that's recent in the past 4-5 years. The owner who lives in Seattle, is very nice. But lives in Seattle, not Napa. I feel like I may have to get a back up sitter only a few weeks from leaving. :(. Yup, really stressful!
