I got the middle grade wash and the tenant was scrubbing my vehicle with one hand as he motioned for me to move forward with his other hand. He scrubbed it he front and the hood, and then took my money and got a little past the driver side window with the brush before he sent in me + my car into the wash. There wasn't anybody behind me waiting either, so my first impression is that this car wash lacks attention to detail. Inside, the first thing that happened was an extremely pressurized burst of water out of the automatic wash as your car goes in. After that, the pressure of everything was pretty negligible. The devices inside seemed old and everything was extremely soft touch.. like, a 'hardly washing it' soft. I also recall the rinse being very inefficient and there was a significant amount of soap residue left on my car. Would not recommend the automatic wash, I might go try and manually wash my car there in the future but I definitely do not recommend the automatic wash for a vehicle.

My wife and I drive two Subarus, a '24 Solterra and a '19 Outback so we've worked with Karoline on several occasions. She's always been pleasant and very efficient. Yesterday, while working with a different advisor I witnessed her patient, problem solving approach with a woman who was very adamant about not wanting to spend extra money on a recommended repair. Karoline explained the reasoning behind the repair and handled a difficult conversation beautifully. Last year I had a problem with the passenger side window on our Outback. Previously I had taken it in to service for some attention but had to return it because the fix didn't last. I talked to Karoline about it and she asked if I would be okay with her looking at it. They came back with a laundry list of problems with the car. I've been doing all the recommended services. I received my largest ever repair bill of $4,615.71. They charged me $2,683.64 + tax just to fix the AC. I'm never going back unless there is a recall on something. Absolutely brutal, place is a total rip off. Most of the work is done by technicions, don't even use certified mechanics.

Case in point - I am in the process of moving into a new home, which was delayed six months (covid, worker/material shortages, yada yada), after having to get out of my mom's home at break neck speed because of a super fast sell. The sell was at the tail end of caretaking my very sick, and then dying mother. I also inherited my mom's very large, destructive cat. I am telling you all this because it will give you an idea why I made, what I thought might be, the stupid decision to drag a very old, disgusting, stained couch to the new place, rather than have the cat destroy a brand new couch. When it was rolled in, and I got to see it in bright light, I kinda freaked, but decided to try having it professionally cleaned before going to a plan B. Being new to the area, I looked at Yelp to see who might be available to do this for me and was prompted by Yelp to use the request quotes thing, so I did. I received a number of responses saying that all these companies were booked up, and a response from Beantowns Finest, with open dates, times, and very clear information about prices, which were VERY Reasonable. Owner/operators Jesica and Randy were very responsive to my questions, easy to communicate with, and easy to set an appointment time with as well. Randy showed up early for the appointment, was very professional and pleasant, and proceeded right away to turn my nightmare couch into an almost new looking couch - it was freaking amazing, and a waaaaaay better result than I could have dared to hope for. He also worked his magic on three filthy gabbeh rugs that I was fearing were doomed as well. I just can't believe what he was able to do with them. I was also grateful that all this was done without a huge truck thucka thucking in the driveway, miles of hoses, and doors open to the cold for hours. He has portable machines that work with a bathroom sink and the house's hot water. He left the entire area cleaner than before he arrived - which can sometimes be an issue with this sort of service. the final price was so reasonable, I bumped the check up a bit to make it what I thought was more fair. I will definitely be using them for furniture and rug cleaning, and any other cleaning services I may need, from now on. Thank you guys so much!

She scheduled us for a few days out and communication was great. On the day she texted to let me know she'd be 20 minutes late, and she was there on the dot when she said she'd be. She runs the business with her husband Randy and they brought two of their children to help. Listen: This is a REAL FAMILY BUSINESS! They were friendly and professional. They wore masks too. (Covid isn't over, friends.) They were all hands on deck for what was kind of a big job, and they did it. She even did an extra thing I'd forgotten to ask for and she made time for that as well. Their rates are fair, and I found out that they do a ton of other work too! On-site car washing and detailing, windows, power-washing, and painting, to name just a few things. Cape Auto's staff were professional and helpful throughout the several months and steps that followed. Front-office Admin folks Heather and Jennifer were always available, knowledgeable and very friendly and polite. Matt Pennucci guided me along the path of being "totaled" and even helped me contact an independent mediator who was able to increase Mapfre's settlement offer. Finally, sloppy communication from Mapfre resulted in excessive storage fees that should not have been assessed to me. Cape Auto owner Kevin Gallerani stepped up and settled the matter to my benefit even though it meant a loss of revenue for them. Kudos to them. This is a class-act family business.
