The person I spoke to had no idea if they did or not. Clearly they didn't I got home and introduced the fish into a quarantine tank two days later the fish died from velvet. If I introduced this into my reef tank it could've been catastrophic. I can't speak on their freshwater fish health but I'm assuming not good if they're introducing sick fish for sale in the saltwater side. I was able to see some incredible thoroughbred horse pictures from the old days along with a ton of trophy's, jockey uniforms, awards like Horse of the Year and more. I struck up a conversation with the docent Brock who informed me that Florida has produced six Kentucky Derby winners which is the most of any state or country. I am not surprised to hear this news. This association represents more than 1,300 thoroughbred breeders and owners. These people breed, raise, train and race horses born in Florida. More than 75% of Florida's horse farms are in the Ocala/Marion County. I really enjoyed my visit here and if you love horses, racing or both I encourage you to check this museum out.

The only thing I didn't really care for was the rounding up of the candy bar. I couldn't believe the cost and re-weighed the bag -it was only 4.8oz even though I got charged for 5oz (exact weight/no decimals were used so they're rounding up). At 3.99/oz, that was an 80¢ loss. It would be fair and honest to charge by exact weight -they're already making a heafty profit, no need to nickel and dime unfairly. 2021: Super cute and clean pet shop with a wonderful variety of treats. My only complaint was the gals behind the counter didn't really offer assistance or talk to us until checkout (the store was empty). I understand social distancing, but they stayed behind the counter the whole time and just talked to each other.

I always tipped generously. When they raised the price to $20, I still tipped generously. The price was raised again earlier this year to $25. I have more than one dog (and they are small-breed) and I cannot add a tip to that. I don't know if they continued to raise the price because other customers weren't tipping or what. But IF that's the case, I shouldn't have to pay extra because certain customers may have been "cheap" or simply couldn't afford it for whatever personal reasons. Anyways, I don't know the reason for the price increase but it doesn't really matter. It's the principle. So to the employees... I have always been a generous tipper at ANY business. I'm truly sorry that I'm no longer tipping on top of the new $25 per-dog fee. I just ask that you try to show some understanding and compassion when I pay at the counter instead of looking irritated and judgmental. That was my experience the last time I went to your location and I was pretty disappointed but I would never expect that reaction from the rest of the girls. To that one girl: be kind, it's easy. Diane does her best to match dogs with a home that is a best match for them. She understands that the rescue dogs have often been through a lot, experienced a traumatic even or worse. She does her best to place them in a home that will be a proper fit so the dogs get their forever home and do not get bounced around. She pays attention to details. I once applied for a blind senior dobie and Diane noticed I have a pool and told me this was not a good match, as the blind dog may not be safe here. A few months later she found me another senior, Koby who was a perfect match. A foster Dad brought Koby to the park where Koby could meet me and my dog to make sure they get along before I could sign adoption papers. I will be forever grateful for Koby and I very much appreciate how much work and care this rescue provides.
