All sounds and conversations carry through (dogs barking, squeaky toys, sounds of dog nails tapping, talking, laughing, kitchen sounds, dropping things). You WILL feel awkward. Advertised boardwalk in photos is CLOSED due to storm damage. Unit is TINY with little storage or room to sit things down. The toilet is UNSTABLE! Be careful sitting down on it. There's no fan or airflow in the bathroom. Wall AC Unit can be too loud to enjoy conversations or the TV. However, you can use it to cover sounds coming from your neighbors. The bed is full sized (motorized). It's comfortable but small. The living area needs a curtain/blind over the inner window. Private spaces are visible from entry. UNREASONABLE and UNTRUTHFUL MANAGEMENT: I contacted DONNA from Sandy Beach Rentals on the day we left. She informed me that she couldn't help me with a refund and that I should contact a manager on a business day. I did what was recommended and called Sandy Beach Vacation rentals. I talked to a receptionist and explained the situation. She put me on the line with the manager, and her name was.....DONNA! DONNA is a manager (maybe owner?) Donna lied about her role in the company and chose not to offer any recompense. I remained calm and tried to plea my case. No refund of any kind is being offered. During the conversation, she minimized each complaint and my situation. She offered no help and asked me if I expected her to pay it out of her pocket. She then hung up on me. Do yourself a favor and LOOK ELSEWHERE! For a few hundred bucks more, you can get a nice hotel on the beach with all the amenities. read more

I'm an owner of 2 properties they manage and they do a great job. I was with a previous Mgmt company and they were not very good. I have less fees here but far better service. They offer good advice for making your property more marketable and their billing and forms are available on line. If you own a place this is the company to be with, not the one on Isla Del Sol. read more

Four stars for a reliable vacation rental option with a lot of great and reasonably priced options on the central west coast of Florida. They sent the instructions and code early, called to communicate any issues and the place was clean both times we rented a room. However our second room did have a few bugs- some dead and some alive... I didn't notice them but my husband did. The bedding and bathroom were very clean however. Parking at the rental we used was very tight but that's not their fault... the permits were printed and in our room and we had access to contact them 24/7. Overall would use them again though maybe not the same location as it was an older building. read more

Unprofessional staff when I called inquiring about renting a unit as a local for my family coming into town. I spoke with the owner Carie and she was immediately confrontational about why I wanted to book and berated me with fees and the policies on damages if I were having any other guests there that are not on the booking, and so on. Against my advice my family booked with them for a place called The Sea Rocket on Redington Beach and the place was a mess. The towels were stained, there was sand in the bed and bathroom, crumbs in the chair and of course there was no answer when we called to inform them of what we found. At this point we gave up on trying to get an enjoyable experience out of this company. read more

Sandy Beach Vacation is a fabulous rental company that really looks after customer needs. Everything is top notch from check in to the beautiful vacation homes they have to offer. I cannot say enough good things about our stay in 6104 Mirada Circle, Unit 21 in Isla Del Sol. The beautiful deco of this three bedroom home was lovely and sitting on the back patio with the palms trees waving in the wind with a glass of wine was a great way to end a day at the beach. There was plenty of room in the house that had everything you needed. It was close to the beaches, great restaurants, and boat rentals or deep sea fishing. Cannot say enough. We will be booking this house every time we return. read more

We have rented vacation properties for over 30 years and never had an issue until we dealt with Sandy Beach Vacation Rentals. We made our reservations back in July and sent a deposit for a property in Dunedin, Florida. Our rental was scheduled for 3/1-4/15 with final payment due on 2/1. I paid the final payment only to get an email the next day saying they couldn't honor our reservation. The story is that the unit was full of mold and needs to be repaired. I have no way to verify that information. They did not make any other arrangements for our family's vacation and were shocked that I was so upset that our vacation had been canceled less than 30 days before our arrival! Do yourself a favor and rent from another firm. This one is not reliable or helpful! read more

Do NOT do it!!! Go somewhere else. My family of four stayed at tropic breeze 19 in Madeira beach Florida booked through sandy beach vacation. First off I was not even going to post this review however after today I have to. So we get there and it's ok nothing fancy. The tub needed a deeeep clean there was filth and stains on the tub floor. The beds were terrible each time you move they squeak so loud it wakes the other people up (two small double beds next to one another in same room). There is white duct tape keeping some of the furniture together. The headboard is no longer attached and just slams on the wall when you move. The towel rack broken in the bathroom. However this is not even the best part- FOUR days after we checked out we notice a new 50 charge on our account. I call and a nice woman answered w able to find a note stating that the charge was due to needing to wash the bed blanket bc of vomit, well that was a shock considering a few things-1 the very first thing I literally do in a hotel is remove the bedding as we travel with our own and put it in a closet or drawer. 2- I would def remember if one of us threw up. 3- wait 50 bucks to wash a blanket that was thin and could be thrown in the washer 4- aren't they to wash those between guests anyway?!? so I call the direct manager on the grounds of the hotel I call and leave a vm at 10 am was informed she, Crystal, was off site and would be calling me back in one hour, that was TWO days ago. So therefore this post will now be shared, I fully believe this is a scam and think they are using it to get more money from their guests. Go somewhere else save ur well earned money. read more

Booked a condo w/ SBV for April 2020, due to COVID19 we had to cancel. At the time they would not consider a refund. In January 2021 we tried to re-book same condo, SBV no longer services this location. Again, we asked for a refund - was told twice that they would call us back. Guess what...no call!! Called again, was able to push to get a partial refund. Hope the $50 was worth losing a annual customer. read more

They are ALL ABOUT THE MONEY & have escalated prices, way out-of-line for the properties that they list, all for their own gain....so that they receive a hefty return after the property owner/landlord is paid. Sandy Beach LACKS INTEGRITY & will be DISRESPECTFUL, THREATENING & ARGUMENTATIVE to get what they want!!!REPUTATION?? What is that!!! They are DIRTY, GREEDY DEALERS! We simply wanted to stay on 3 additional nights due to personal reasons & we, respectfully, asked. Bill from Sandy Beach approved of this, never disclosing a higher rate than what we were paying.....$2000/month, which computes to $200 for 3 extra nights. BUT CROOKED BILL decides he is going to charge us $200/night or $600, 3 times the amount, keeping money that was due back to us!!!! This is what he had to say: "The rate for this house for April is 4767.03. You would have been given the discounted rate over half if you had stayed the month. You did not stay the month so you are not entitled any discount." This is not the advertised rate posted on their site for April. They CANNOT BE TRUSTED!!!!! SO HE PENALIZED US FOR NOT STAYING THROUGH APRIL!!!!! We never promised more than March. This is why people rent month-to-month, to alleviate any pressure. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!! read more

We rented unit 207 at San Remo through Sandy Beach Vacation Rentals at Redington Shores Florida this August (2019.) Cherie was our person of contact and helped us with making our reservation, our stay and everything along the way, and through checkout. It was the GREATEST experience of our lives. The condo was just as it looked in the pictures. So nicely decorated. Bright and cheery and very "beachy". It was clean and ready for our arrival and the best part was that we were allowed to check in VERY early! This was great because our flight arrived at 11:00 am and we would have had many hours to wait. The very thorough check in instructions that were emailed to us before our trip, were easy to follow and worked like a charm! You don't use keys for anything. Everything from entering the building, to entering your condo, to entering the pool area is done by entering a digital code. This was so great to not have to remember to bring different keys with you everywhere you go. There was PLENTY of parking. We had a need for handicap parking and we were able to find a spot almost every day of our stay. It felt like home from the minute we stepped through the door. The first thing we saw was the view from the front door, straight through the living room,directly through the sliding glass doors, looking out to the pool, beach and ocean! It was BREATH TAKING! The owners really put a lot of thought into what a renter would need while vacationing. From soap, dish-washing detergent, paper towels, toilet paper to lots of bath towels and beach towels!!! Which was GREATLY APPRECIATED! There was also a closet full of beach toys, floats, coolers, umbrella, etc. There were lots of extra pillows and many extra blankets (thought we didn't need them.) There were even coat hangars in the closet which was also greatly appreciated. There was every kitchen utensil you could think of and there was both a coffee pot and a keurig. As a huge coffee loving family, this was AWESOME! There was even some coffee to get us started!!!! There were plenty of dishes, glasses, pots, pans, bowls, and silverware. All the appliances were in great working order! There was PLENTY of drawers for clothing. There was a blow dryer in each bathroom. The beds were comfortable and bedding was clean and comfy. You had to keep the a/c at 72 degrees or higher. However, I am somebody, who - for health reasons - needs a very cool (actually cold) environment, and 72 was plenty cool. It was the perfect temperature for me! Most people would probably find it too cool and want to put it up a few degrees, like my family lol. The building is an older building but it is kept up and the grounds are kept well. The pool and hot tub area are awesome. They are enclosed and can only be accessed with a code. There was not any propane/charcoal for the grills outside but that was okay because you had everything you needed to cook a big meal inside. BEWARE, there is a little step down from the area where the bathrooms are to the regular pool deck and even though it is high lighted with a yellow strip of paint, people continued to fall on it every day. I tripped several times even though I knew it was there. It just sneaks up on you. It would be great if they leveled that out for safety. There was a male and female bathroom at the pool but the lights did not work so when you closed the door it was pitch black in there. The hot tub was AMAZING! It was hot enough that made you hesitate for a moment at its heat, but then quickly melted into it relaxing your muscles and bones. It was heaven and oh how I wish we were back there right now!! There was one problem that occurred twice while we were there. The first day we arrived, there was a huge moving truck outside that blocked the handicap/close parking spots and they were filling the elevator up with furniture and we had to wait quite a while for the elevator to go up and down while they occupied the only elevator. We could not use the stairs because of my medical condition so we were forced to wait with all of our luggage. But, the day before we left, the elevator was "out of order" for a few hours. None of the guests could use it. We were told it was being worked on. Fortunately, it was nice weather out so we just went back and stayed by the pool waiting for it to be serviced. I noticed that there was another moving truck parked at the entrance to the building. We later discovered that the elevator was not broken but rather was held up by the movers on purpose so that they could use it to move their belongings. This was very upsetting because it was a few hours and there was a gentlemen who could not walk without a walker and because of that, and my medical condition, we could not use the stairs. But all in all, it was heaven! I highly recommend staying here. We are already planning our next stay. You will enjoy Unit 207 very much and Cherie is WONDERFUL to work with!!!! read more
