This kind of friendliness has turned out to be the norm during our 3 years of wintering here. There is a heated pool and hot tub as well as a large rec room and card room which are in constant use. The owners keep everything in pristine condition. There are always plenty of activities going on and you can be either as busy or as laid back as you like. Mostly retired residents with a few younger. If you're looking for a "resort" feel isn't it. But if you're looking for a safe, lovely park, you should look no further. We were fortunate enough to get a spot on the lake and it offered a lovely view and plenty of wildlife to enjoy. I should also mention that's it's literally right at the Pinellas bike trail! We spent almost every evening riding our bikes to many local fantastic eateries, breweries. Honeymoon Island State Park is also 5 mins away, and an incredible bike ride if I might add. The ONLY negative I have, is that they have allowed some storage of some real clunkers right at the front of the property. I think if that could be cleaned up, that would make it all the more desirable. That would be my only constructive criticism. That is the sole reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

Arriving in the room, room 106, I found I was approximately 3' from the fence around the pool. it was full of children and incredibly loud. Friday night there was a movie at the pool and even though all my windows and door were closed I still heard the movie. The view out of the back was the pool filter. Because the front window was shutters I had to keep all the shutters closed to have any privacy. The rooms on the second floor had tables and chairs and a view of the water. The mattress was so soft it was difficult to sleep on. There were no plugs on the side of the bed for me to charge my phone and the "nightstand" was attractive but it was tiny about the size of a washcloth. People were out by the Firepit talking well after 10. The pictures on the website are lovely but buyer beware. judging from other comments it appears I got the worse room in the motel.

A few days later a motorhome with teenagers parked across the street from us and down the street is another young couple with a small child and a baby. Definitely not a 45+ RV park. People park on the sidewalks you can't see to back out which is a safety issue especially with the small children. we have had one of the kids and a dog come to our camper without supervision. There are aggressive dogs. We are parked by the road and it is very busy all hours of the day and night. We either have to wear earplugs are run our air conditioner at night to drown out the road noise. The owner was made aware of the issues and has chose to ignore it all. I definitely won't go back and would not recommend it. There are other things as well these were the main ones.
