Vet care is pricey but have you shopped around? Most vets in the area are more expensive. I've never had an issue with the staff. I'm positive that if those complaining had actually said something to the vet? The issue would have been resolved. Also, why leave negative reviews because a business expects payment at time of service. Huh? This is a great local vet and deserves much better than the couple of low ratings.

We had adopted a 8 year old hound last year, his bottom teeth were so worn, and really bothered him. Dr. Rob took our pup in and fixed an infected one first and then he had another visit for the second tooth. He was kept the entire day for each appt. to make sure he didn't have any complications. They also accept Care Credit as well which is a Plus. They can offer more services and vaccines but take in account for mindful patients who know what environment their kid lives in...indoors vs outdoors or needs to be boarded often, all require different vaccinations. The cat might be in the kennel area, but the dog photo is not, they have two large areas for dogs, each gets a bed and they have different prices. Lastly, they have a huge enclosure as well that the pups get to use as well.

Before entering the cat area, a friendly worker had us sign electronic waivers. There were plenty of places to sit and toys to play with the cats from Heritage. I will say it wasn't my favorite cat room, however, as it didn't feel ventilated at all and it smelled strongly. I think perhaps if they add some air flow or clean the litter boxes more often that could help. The cats themselves were cute and I was very tempted to adopt Loodles, specifically! Precious girl. Once I was finished in the cat area, I stepped back into the shop and browsed. I saw a cute treat dispenser, so I purchased that along with a catit fountain. I haven't tried the fountain yet, but I did notice that it was $8 cheaper than I paid at other retailers, so that was pretty disappointing. I'm just chalking it up to supporting a small business. Hopefully the cats like it, as they ignored the last fountain I purchased! My orange does love the treat dispenser and has largely figured it out, so that's been a success. They also had some cute toys, and I bought a little birthday cake toy that I gave to one of my cats on his birthday about a week back. He's still playing with it, so that's a good sign! Overall, I think this is a great space that could be excellent with a few tweaks. I appreciate what they do to help pets.

We brought our dog in after three days of progressively throwing up more each day. He had gotten…read moreinto the trash and they gave him some medication to help with nausea. Instructions were to bring him back the next morning for X-rays if he wasn't able to keep anything down. He didn't keep it down and when we called at opening the next morning we were told to take him to an emergency clinic because there were no doctors on staff that day. No referrals given, and no attempt to reach out to another VCA facility. No vet will take us because they're not taking new clients so we're taking him to an emergency hospital being that it's a Friday now. We have already made arrangements to transfer his care to a different vet going forward as this is unacceptable.

The entire team here was helpful, kind and compassionate. They walked me through the tests they recommended, the costs, etc. and performed the tests and shared the results efficiently. My cat was showing signs of improvement within 12 hours of being seen at VCA and by a week later, was still improving in leaps and bounds (literally). Dahlia and I are so grateful for this hospital and I now drive 1+ hours past other vet clinics and hospitals so I can receive this care for my cat. Thank you!

Took my two skiddish pups here for a summer grooming…read more...... My older pup (Matti)...has never been to a grooming facility...and is quite reactive to new situations....had an amazing time with our groomer Sarah. According to Sarah, Matti needed NO muzzle, and she was calm throughout! Our younger pup Sitka (feral dog, we've only had her about two months), needed a total shave, as her undercoat was completely matted and causing her distress in the war ish weather. Sarah and crew did an AMAZING job keeping the pups calm ALL DAY, and making them SO comfortable and gorgeous! The pups greeted us happily, and without any (so obvious) stress signs. HIGHLY recommend 4-Leggers...but actually, don't go here. Leave the few appointments they have for ME! I have already secured another appt for my pooches, but next time will schedule out for a year. This place is THAT GOOD. Can't comment on the lodging they offer, but for Grooming, they are amazing. Sarah will walk you through everything prior to your pups arriving. She is quick to email if there are any issues, and even sends pics of the pups in progress! Hope this place saves me some time for my poochies, as they LOVE IT!!!
