She has provided great professional guidance during my accumulation of post-grad LCSW licensure hours. Jill has such great depth of knowledge within the field & is able to provide valuable perspectives. Her supervisor skills have definitely helped me grow, learn, and develop as a professional.

I went to them looking for help, clarity, and support... and instead they created a level of stress and frustration that no one seeking mental health services should ever have to experience. From day one, the entire process was a complete disaster. They created TWO separate profiles for me--using two different email addresses--after I was specifically told everything would be merged into one account. Not only was it not merged, but their mistake forced me to complete TWO entire sets of intake paperwork, wasting my time and adding stress before I had even seen a provider. That alone should have been the red flag. But it gets worse. Despite giving them my insurance information upfront and being told that my plan was covered and I would only owe a copay, Thriveworks went ahead and charged my card $160 without my authorization. No warning. No explanation. No phone call. Nothing. They had days to verify my insurance, and instead of doing their job, they took the easy route and dumped the full cost onto me. When I confronted them, they tried to justify the charge by claiming telehealth wasn't covered--even though I was never informed of that, never given the chance to choose differently, and never notified before they billed me. A simple call or email could have prevented this, but they didn't bother. After looking online, I realized I wasn't alone--there are countless complaints about this exact same issue: duplicate accounts, incorrect billing, sudden charges, excuses, and zero accountability. It's a pattern. A big one. And let's be honest--if a mental health provider can't manage basic tasks like verifying insurance, merging profiles, keeping accurate records, or communicating clearly... how can anyone trust them with something as serious as your emotional well-being? Thriveworks feels completely overwhelmed, disorganized, and in over their heads. Their mistakes cost me time, money, and peace of mind--exactly the things I went there to improve. If you are thinking about choosing Thriveworks, do yourself a favor and run the other way. Look for a provider that is ethical, competent, and doesn't make your mental health WORSE. I wish someone had warned me. I'm warning you now.

They continue to charge me $200 per year despite the fact that five years ago I quit working with them out of disgust. They have gone even had the audacity of ruining my credit. I have to go and dispute charges from Lifespan 's health for unpaid medical bills even though I refuse to see these idiots anymore. It is because of them that I went to the hospital. It is because of them that I wound up with the wrong medications. They even set up virtual visits during Covid but wouldn't give me codes to get into virtual visits. This is the worst Behavioral Health Group you could ever hope for.

One time, they said they haven't received the insurance payment and even though I had the United Healthcare to call them explaining the payment has been made but it takes a couple of days to show in their system, they cancelled my appointment in one hour notice. It was impossible to find a new doctor in one hour notice. I told the doctor I saw that I drink one glass of wine or one 12 oz beer most every day and she listed that I have alcohol abuse. I asked her why one drink a day is considered abuse and she said If I drink more than 1 OZ a day, she had to list it as an alcohol abuse. She said I am not dependent, I just abuse it. It doesn't make sense.
