She was given a typical Yorkie cut that was kind of lopsided, but I forgave it considering her previous owner didn't care much about her hygiene and now she smelled like Argan oil. But what happened yesterday was completely unacceptable. I called a few days ahead and was able to schedule an appointment the week after at 3:30pm. I arrive exactly at 3:30 to locked doors. There was even a note inside the lock from another customer saying that they had an appointment at 12:30 and the doors were locked. I don't know what type of business you can run like this. Maybe there was an emergency, but the least you can do is call your customers and let them know. Should have known there would be issues with this place when I called all summer and left voicemails for my dog to be groomed and no one replied. Not a soul. Y'all won't have to worry about me or my dog again.

I explained I have a German Shepherd puppy who requires certain things as she can not chew or eat just anything. Raven has a delicate system and on top of that if she were to get a hold of a toy she could destroy it would pose a risk to her life if it were ingested. The manager pointed out a couple of things that would work for Raven. He was very patient and understanding of my concerns. The manager is a shining example of what customer service is and what should be.

We'll they said yes, so I trusted them and left her. She was no where near what she was supposed to look like when I picked her up. There were parts of her that weren't even cut. We had to bring her back to get cut again, but she never looked like she was supposed to. Fast forward to this past week. I decided to give them another chance, and took our 13 year old miniature schnauzer. My wife let the staff know that she was old, didn't see or hear too well, and moves alot. She was quoted 53.00. Later that afternoon I received a call that her beard was very matted and needed to be shaved off. I agreed. Now when I went to pick her up, I was charged 85.00 and told it was because hercoat was matted. They gave me back a completely shaved dog. Nowhere resembling a schnauzer. Not once did anyone call me and say it was going to cost more, or that she was being completely shaved. Needless to say, I will not bring any of my dogs back there, and I would never recommend them to anyone I know. I find the fact that they can change the price and not tell you , and that you pay before even seeing the pet a problem. They stated that my 10lb, 13 year old dog that barely has teeth was a danger to them, and so there was a charge for that too. They charged an extra charge to grind her nails, because they were black nails. Do your due diligence, and maybe go to a more established groomer.

I picked up my dog, set up her next grooming appointment and was told the charge would be $85 because my dog was anxious and harder to groom. She went on to say if I give my dog anxiety drugs before her next appointment, she would charge $65. This experience was AWFUL!!! My dog has been to at least 5 groomers and no one has ever told me to drug her! I was never told the price could be more than $65. This woman is deceitful! Stay clear! Maya arrived at this friendly, clean and organized Pet Spa a fluffy, matted mess! The groomers at Harmony Pet Spa did a fantastic job navigating through Maya's anxiety and did a wonderful job with her long furred coat. Maya left happy and feeling very pretty! Highly recommend Harmony Pet Spa!
