Sickly but sweet. Sweet in a southern way if you know what I mean. On Wednesday Sir took ill and I had to find care for him immediately. I saw 3 different vets because Dr. Ponce was not available in our crisis. Unfortunately Sir passed away on Friday. My wife and I were having a conversation this morning about how important having a good veterinarian is. Somebody who is knowledgeable and who builds a relationship with you and your pet. Someone who cares and is considerate. Ethan you are the best, your hair is beautiful and words cannot describe how much we appreciate you. Over time we just got the feeling it was less about the well being of our dogs and helping us understand how to best care for them than it was about price gouging for visits and tests. We were able to find a different vet and find that the tests were expected to pay 1200 for should only cost $150 for...proceed with caution. But if you ask too many questions they will discontinue service. Word of caution; find a vet that cares about you and your family member.

Everyone was so nice and tried all they could I'd like to mention Dr. Carder especially. He was wonderful to deal with even through the worst of times. Tuesday when we threw the hail Mary he was generally concerned and let us know the chances. When we brought Lottie in for her final visit he was almost as upset as we were and that meant a lot especially since we are relatively new clients to the practice. As we have a large fur family we've been to two other clinics in Atlanta and the accreditation they have I believe it is AAHA but it does make a difference, Even with the COVID Dr. Carder and the staff were accommodating, caring and very thoughtful. Unfortunately the house is sooooooooooooooooo quiet even with 2 dogs and a cat left and we'll miss our Lottie pants with all of our hearts, she was the sweetest little girl and absolutely the lowest maintenance person on the planet all she wanted was whatever you were eating and a belly rub. Preferably at the same time. We love you Lottie Pants and well always keep you in our hearts.

We recently found a dog and brought her in to be checked out to make sure everything was okay. We…read morehad an appointment with Dr Day. The Vet tech came in and we had a pleasant conversation. The vet tech went back and a conversation occurred with Dr. Day. She did not want to "get in the middle of" a lost dog and the dog should go to the pound. All of these conversations occurred in the back but I could hear all of the commentary clear as day. I informed the vet tech that posters had been posted (physical and e-postings), the Cobb county pound had been notified, and I just wanted to make sure the dog was healthy while we continued to look for the owner. Another back room conversation occurred and I finally opened the door to inform the group that I could hear them. If they did not want to provide services I can find another vet. I was just trying to do the right thing by the dog. I felt so uncomfortable and judged by Dr Day for being a descent human being. It's funny because we usually go to Powers Ferry Animal Hospital but I'm searching for a closer vet since we just moved to the area. They not only lost my business with this dog but also with two other pets as well. Do better and know that people can hear you and your words and opinions matter.

We were able to book an appointment about 2 hours after calling. After our arrival we waited about 5 minutes and were ushered into one of the examination rooms. Not long after that Robert came in and took detailed notes asking about her recent activities and behavior. Soon after Dr. White came in to do a careful examination. Her gentleness in handling our cat was obvious as there was no hissing Or growling. Tests came back after about 20 minutes and showed possible causes but nothing specific. She was treated for severe dehydration and given a shot to help her nausea. when we came back home she immediately started drinking water again and seemed to be on the road to recovery. Cannot say enough about this vet and everyone involved.

I unfortunately cannot recommend this vet based on our experience with our dog, Titan…read more Titan was extremely uncomfortable, nervous, and distressed during our following up visits after the initial visit. He has been to other vets throughout his life and has never behaved this way, which makes us believe that something about this experience was particularly frightening and emotionally painful for him. One of my biggest concerns is that the staff take dogs into a back room where owners cannot see what is happening. This is where Titan's behavior changed, and as a pet owner, it was extremely upsetting not knowing what was happening to him. I strongly believe owners should have greater visibility into their dog's care, particularly when their pet is clearly frightened. I was also concerned by what felt like a push toward multiple additional and potentially unnecessary services. Titan has always been a healthy dog, yet we were encouraged to have tests sent to outside specialists at significant additional expense. While I understand that veterinarians need to recommend appropriate testing when medically necessary, the number and cost of the recommendations left us questioning whether everything being suggested was truly necessary. Most importantly, Titan was terrified, and that is simply not acceptable to us. A veterinary visit should be stressful at times, but seeing a dog who has never behaved this way become so frightened was heartbreaking. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot recommend this vet to other dog owners. The emotional distress Titan experienced alone was enough to make us decide that we will not be returning.
