We had a cat who was sick for two days. She stopped eating and barely drank any water resulting in a weight loss of half a pound. We were able to book an appointment about 2 hours after calling. After our arrival we waited about 5 minutes and were ushered into one of the examination rooms. Not long after that Robert came in and took detailed notes asking about her recent activities and behavior. Soon after Dr. White came in to do a careful examination. Her gentleness in handling our cat was obvious as there was no hissing Or growling. Tests came back after about 20 minutes and showed possible causes but nothing specific. She was treated for severe dehydration and given a shot to help her nausea. when we came back home she immediately started drinking water again and seemed to be on the road to recovery. We had our first appointment this week for our new puppy with Dr. Gohr, and had a great experience. I came prepared with a lot of questions (this is my first time having a puppy), and I appreciated her patience and care to answer them all and give recommendations. The location is convenient and seems recently renovated. It is clean, and all of the staff we interacted with are nice. I called a few times prior to our appointment to ask about things I was worried about in our first few days with our pup, and they were great. I did a lot of research to find the right vet in the Marietta area because I want to go to one I can fully trust with my pup, and I feel good about our decision to go to Miller Vet! read more

We have a 3-yr-old rescue pup who was clearly traumatized in his early life - we've been unable to get through a standard vet visit due to his fear: growling, snapping, wriggling away and wigging out! The vet & vet tech came to our home, were incredibly patient with him, managed to conduct his check up and vaccination. It wasn't easy, but they persevered with kindness and professionalism. So very appreciative of their loving care despite our dog being a royal pain~! Just be honest with the professionals about your animal's behavior issues - they can handle it! I brought my cat in today for the first time at Miller Vet because I feared she had a UTI. She's older and every time she's not feeling well I panic. I had to drop her off curbside and not stay with her which I totally understand because of COVID-19, but I was anxious because I've never not been present for her appointments. The staff knew I was anxious and was very kind and polite with me. Doctor Gohr was my cat's vet. She called me as soon as she saw Daphne and walked me through her prognosis in a way I could easily understand. She also offered great advice and recommendations on her care. Doctor Gohr and the techs were very helpful and very respectful while I was there and patient with me and my questions. The best vet I've ever been too! Our dog, Payton, has unfortunately had to have three surgeries in the past six months. Thankfully, we found Miller Mobile Vet just in time for her first CCL repair. Dr. Miller always takes the time to explain each procedure in detail beforehand and personally calls after each procedure to let us know how she is doing, as well. All of her surgeries have been flawless! In addition to her surgeries, we have also been dealing with never-ending ear infections for years. As soon as her round of antibiotics ended, she would have another infection and we would be back in to see our prior vet. We discussed this with Dr. Miller & after treating her once, Payton has not had another ear infection (yet). All of the staff members at Miller Mobile Vet are so kind and take such good care of our girl. Now, we have switched over from our previous vet for both of our dogs. Our family has entrusted our fur babies to Dr. Matt Miller's care for over 15 years (back when he worked at an in town practice and was voted a top vet in the city by Atlanta magazine). We were thrilled when coincidentally we both relocated to Cobb county. He has knowledgeably guided us through many matters concerning our pets and foster pets over the years, always with great care. He will help us try different medical treatments with our fur babies when needed, always beginning with the most conservative and cost effective. He has referred us to quality specialists in those situations that required something super specific (canine heart specialist and Ortho surgery). When we recently had to help our 18 year old dog transition over the rainbow bridge he came to the house to let us say goodbye to her on our terms in the comfort of home and he made the process as easy as possible given it was such a difficult, heartbreaking farewell. A week later we received a card with personal notes from Matt and everyone member of the team at Miller Vet. They all treat our pets like the family they are and are they are all true pros. We were thrilled when Matt opened up a nearby Play and Stay a couple years ago. When we have to leave town now we have more peace of mind knowing our senior fur babies are in a safe, caring environment with staff that know them and their needs and who have easy access to expert medical support should an unexpected issue arise while we're away. Our pups also enjoy the doggie daycare offered at the Play and Stay. Matt Miller is caring, kind, supportive, and extremely knowledgeable. His practice is professional and supportive and prices for services are very fair. I cannot say enough about this office, Dr Miller is such a loving, caring doctor and he employs exceptional staff! He was the perfect doctor for Australian Cattle Dog. We are so sad that we lost his office when we moved to the west coast. I had crazy issues with my pets and he solved each one with patience. His staff is always there for me when I call and need something. I even stopped taking my cats to special cat doctors because Dr Miller solved a problem that the 'cat' doctor couldn't! I waited for an appointment for over a week because it was the only day they could get me in at 2pm during my lunch break. I then arrived for my dog's appointment and they had double booked and asked if I could reschedule. I said no, the receptionist went to speak to the doctor who apparently said no as well .... ZERO NOTICE. If these people can't run a business properly and see scheduled patients without any real reasoning, I certainly do not trust them to care for my Pet. We won't be returning. read more

I was really pleased with how they helped me with my cat. I brought her to Dr Gohr who discovered a tumor on her shoulder and lung. They didn't push me to attempt treatments that wouldn't help but rather helped me keep Luna comfortable through her last days . Miller mobile vet has been our vet for about 2 years and until this past monday, we didnt appreciate just how awesome they are. We were away for 9 days and had people taking shifts watching our 2 dogs. When we arrived home sunday night, our 1 year old dog looked rough, he was skinny, lethargic, shaking and just not right. It was late so we called the local ER vet, but unfortunately they had a 4 hour wait. I stayed up all night with our dog and at 8 am the next morning, carried him into Miller's. They wasted no time looking him over and explaining what needed to happen next. X rays showed there was something stuck in his digestive track, but with his dehydration and weight loss, it was hard to tell what it was. The next morning he had not passed the item and surgery was suggested. At this point i had been given 2 estimates foe both monday's procedures and tuesday's surgery. Turns out he had swallowed string from a rope toy and it perforated his intestines. I could keep going, but just know my faith is with this vet as their staff is great, they took pics of my dog so we could see him without showing up and upsetting him. Today we got to pick up our little guy and take him home, all because of them. They are wonderful read more

I cannot say Thank You enough to Dr. Carla Polittle for taking care of both of my fur babies. She has performed procedures on both my cat (declawing) and my dog (spayed). With both experiences (although I was a nervous wreck at first) she made me feel so at ease. She is extremely patient and kind, very detailed in explaining/answering all the questions I had. Each staff member I came in contact with, were extremely professional and very pleasant. To insure the safety of their clients due to COVID-19, they have a social distancing practice in place. They will meet you curbside to pick up and drop off your animal, which made it very convenient. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Polittle for all of your pets needs. read more

Dr. Miller is the best! We first started using him as our vet when he worked for Village Vets in Decatur. Eventually he started his mobile veterinary practice and began to treat our pets in our home. Now that he has his own brick-and-mortar clinic we also visit him there as well. (No matter the distance, he is our vet!) He has been there for us and our numerous animals over many years now, advising and assisting us through good times and hard times. He always keeps what is best for our pets' health in mind while also being realistic about what is feasible and practical. MY DOG LOVES IT HERE!!!! This place is amazing, fast, has great staff and prices. The wait time was non existent, as soon as I came in they already knew my dogs name and took me in immediately. This will be a harsher-sounding review than if I were telling this to you, the reader, in person. One can't convey emotions correctly as easily in print. I for one will be glad when the in-home visits resume for all of us. Dr Miller is THE finest kitty doc ever. The other docs are wonderful as well. I like them all. The front office of late... ugh. Every coin has two sides? Yep. On Saturdays in recent months it takes weeks to schedule an appt for even routine stuff, so you have to wait and wait. Wish they'd add some hours or an extra doctor to help. Saturdays are all many of us have at times. Anyways... showed up on time (appt confirmed weeks ago via email), four legged family members in carriers. Walk in, some newish (to me) folks working the front. Odd looks and "We have a s-c-h-e-d-u-l-i-n-g p-r-o-b-l-e-m" said slowly. I am in the middle of having a kitty who, for him, was uncharacteristically totally freaking out in his carrier right about then. The cat is losing it, panting, screaming, panicing, worst I've seen from any pets I've had. Was told by the gal standing with me that it would be quite "awhile" if I waited, or I could leave them and come back later. No way in he** I was going to walk away from my freaking-out pet and the gal wasn't making any effort to get me any help. NONE. Just standing there looking pretty uncaring. Okay, I'll make an executive decision, then. I had an appt booked for weeks. It's not being honored. Mistakes happen, I get it, but (!) I had a serious issue with one of my fur-kids in the front lobby and was getting no assistance. Immediately left, brought them both back to the friendly and familiar confines of home. I wanted folks to know that there's some issues here at this writing. I hate writing a less than stellar review, but others need to know this info. If you're reading this weeks, months, or years after I wrote it, things are hopefully resolved so please take that into account. read more

I brought my dog in after being attacked by three other dogs at the park. She is terrified of going to the vet. Our previous clinic wouldn't even attempt to examine her because she is so squirmy. Dr. Miller and the vet tech (I wish I got her name-she was awesome!) were great with her! Dr. Miller let my dog sniff him first so she could get more comfortable with him and they held her and made her feel comfortable while he was examining her wounds. I was so worried about her but, after going here, I was much more at ease. I usually go to a vet in Cumming closer to my house, but I think I will make Miller our go-to doctor. Dr. Miller is one of the best vets I've ever used in the Atlanta area. He is very knowledgeable and thorough and I trust my him with my pet's care 100%. His service is great and prices are very reasonable. We started seeing him because our cat gets car sick and a mobile vet saves everyone a lot hassle. Dr. Miller helped us with our 13 year old lab. He helped us manage Doc's pain and when the time finally came last week for us to let him go, I could not have wished for a more peaceful, tender passing. As much as I still wanted Doc in my life, he was struggling and was ready to go. I was never pushed to try heroic measures like some vets will try to bully you into, or to spend money that in the end would not change the outcome. It was clear from the beginning that Dr. Miller only wanted to help Doc in the most humane way possible - only what was best for Doc as well as for us. I can't say enough about Dr. Miller, Cheryl and Ashley. I will forever be grateful for all the help, guidance and support we were given.
