Wanted to like this place cause we can really use another nicer restaurant in Happy Valley. Sadly,…read morethis ain't it. Came here for dinner with wife and toddler. After getting sat down, we just... waited. For about 10-15 minutes, nobody showed up. Eventually a server came and took our order in a very disinterested fashion. We ordered a cocktail, the bruschetta appetizer, and then a burger, the king salmon and a plate of chicken pasta in white sauce for the little one. Everything took forever to come out (even the drink), nobody came out to check or refill waters in the 90 minutes we were there. Cocktail (Spring Break) - 5/5 great! Bruschetta - 3/5. Generally good but the bread was carbonized and as hard as a rock. Burger + fries - 3/5. Burger looked sad but was actually pretty tasty, if a little overcooked. Fries looked great (hand cut) but upon us closer inspection in the low light, you could see they were 50% those tiny peel pieces that get burned when frying. Guys! You are supposed to take those pieces out! Salmon - 3/5. Kind of... fine. A little fishy, not really what i expect for King salmon. Chicken pasta for toddler - 4/5. Actually this was delicious (if a bit overcooked) and it will my leftover lunch (toddler didn't eat it but that isn't the pasta's fault). Total bill for everyone, with tip: $126 So pretty mediocre food, downright bad service, and premium pricing. It's a pass from me!

Drinks were amazing, and so was the food. My steak fries was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Always a hit, this place.

I just had the best fried chicken sandwich of my life here--perfectly crispy and flavorful. Their burgers and fries are also top-tier and always hit the spot. The drinks are just as impressive; unlike most places, they make handmade margaritas using fresh lemon, lime, triple sec, and tequila (of course) You can really taste the quality! They also have a fantastic selection of local beer on tap. It's the perfect atmosphere to catch a game. With a giant projection screen and plenty of TVs, there truly isn't a bad seat in the house. Plus, they have a pool table, ping pong, and old-school pinball along with other games. We've also heard they serve an excellent breakfast with homemade biscuits and gravy and breakfast sandwiches--we haven't tried it yet, but we can't wait to come back for it! Whether you're a mountain local or just passing through on your way to or from Mt. Hood, this place hits it out of the park every time.

Fun friendly crowd too - I was rooting against the Seahawks and nobody was bothered. Giant screen for sports, several free games (which is great for the kids). Also a lot of pinball and a few arcade titles. Counter ordering for drinks and food. They run with a light crew so there is usually a line and a wait for your food - it's worth it. And there's plenty of entertainment in there to pass the time. Burgers are phenomenal.

He has had to ask for a plate on both occasions. He was given a bread plate which is also not appropriate for dinner. The tables are small and by the time your cute "modern" vessels and side dishes arrive, things are being pushed off the table. We've eaten there 4 times and the good tasting refried beans were lukewarm warm each time. We also were never offered a refill on our chips. This should be automatic, well within the overall cost of the entrees. I think it will be a success, but now is the time to make some refinements as it will get more complicated as the summer goes on and the patio is opened bringing in more crowds.

The menu was really interesting - a sushi section which was a fusion of Mexican/American/Japanese, but I was most drawn to their entree favorites. I went with the Carne en su Jugo - our lovely waitress me narrow that down. Their chips and salsa were delicious - the salsa is mild and the chips were perfectly seasoned - love a salty chip. The dish came with handmade corn tortillas which were thick and yummy. The steak was cooked in a salsa verde kind of sauce with crispy crumbled bacon on top, beans and rice. The beef was so tender and delicious! It definitely had some heat to it that builds up. There was a lot of sauce - which actually worked out nicely because I ended up taking home the leftovers, adding some veggies and broth and made a soup out of it! I'm looking forward to trying other things on the menu as this experience was pretty top notch.
